I still can't get past Stefano's fondness for Andre. This is the man who murdered Renee, and this is the man who just days ago murdered Benjy. Was it ever explained how Stefano came to forgive Andre either time? At one time, he wanted Andre to pay for what he did to Renee. Now not even Benjy's death matters? That part of this story just doesn't make sense to me.

Wow, I've been thinking about the character of John Black all weekend and all that he has been through -- Victor's pawn; saving Marlena from the hospital rapist; exposing Victor's crimes in Miami; learning that he was "Roman" while in West Virginia; the wedding; Stockholm -- the power, the purse, and the pawn; losing Marlena in the plane crash; Diana Colville; the Torres crime family; Yvette Dupres; Rebecca the D.A.; Isabella; Brady; getting Marlena back; learning he wasn't Roman; losing Marlena; Isabella's cancer and death; Stella Lombard's pit; the affair at the gala; the affair on the plane; Belle's paternity; Kristen; Belle on Christmas Eve; the return of the DiMeras in 1994; Maison Blanche; the possession; Aremid; Susan Banks; Father John; John the mercenary; John and Romulus; Forrest Alamain; the sub sex with Hope; marrying Marlena again; "becoming" Tony's brother; Basic Black and the ISA toys; the Gemini twins; the Salem Stalker investigation; Alex North . . . . Twenty-one years is a long time. I'm gonna miss this guy.

Chip, it was touched on in Thursday's episode I believe where Stefano had a monologue blaming himself for Benjy's murder and Andre's crimes in that he (Stefano) is the one who made Andre who he was. Whether you buy that or not, they sort of tried to explain why Stefano felt the way he did.

Toups the Sami leaving Lucas promo was the Soapnet October Days Promo, personally I'm getting sick of seeing it already, they show it all freaking month

Anyways Friday's episode was good. I had to check it out. I'm gonna miss John. If John dies, I wish we could at least see Isabella, I'm a diehard John and IzzyB fan :)

    • This better be something, because as I said, so far it's just cliches and stereotypes -- the story we've heard a thousand times about the homeless person who doesn't want a home and prefers to live on the streets.
    • @rsclassicfanforever thank you very much for the recent uploads of season 13 containing some episodes that were skipped or glitchy on YouTube!  I had a look at 3172 though and there is no audio for most of it? Would you have a copy with complete audio? Fingers crossed! Thanks again!

    • I like Margaret well enough in what I've seen of her as Paige - she is green but she has real star power.  I agree about the actor who plays Brian. He's...mostly just there. Not bad but not great.  My main issue is with the guy who plays Owen. He's just not appealing to me. I can believe Nola being obsessed with him, but he's draining to watch.  I'm surprised people objected to the quasi-incest elements as it wasn't anything that new for soaps.  Speaking of Kim, here's a rare episode of an anthology show she did called The Evil Touch.

    •   I get what you're both saying, and I think the show was lucky to have even made it that long, but I think they could have still maintained a certain audience - Second Chances did before the earthquake. CBS was an older network anyway. I think the premise of Knots was still usable, it was more the characters who were a problem - many of the older figures were played out. If the show had done a better job building up its younger cast instead of making so many poor choices in the late '80s and early '90s, they could have kept things going a little longer.
    • I wish I cared about the homeless lady as much as everyone else seems to. After the nothing burger that was the lawsuit, this just feels like another boring Naomi storyline at Orphy Genes since she has no office.
    • That's great to hear. Thanks. I wish that was more readily available.
    • Just learned that Clifton Davis wrote this song!  I had no idea.

    • I think even if Marland had wanted to write more for Sara/Adam, his hands would have been tied as Robert Milli was one of the actors dumped by P&G due to his age.  From the bits and pieces I've seen of that period, Sara does have a key role in the Carrie plot, and Marland briefly gave her son Tim a more important part. I'm not sure if they just gave up on Tim once Kevin Bacon left or if they never really cared. I did not even know for many years that there was an actor in the part after Kevin...and then not one, but two. The Spauldingfield video on Tim doesn't even show the last actor (Nigel Reed), which kind of says it all. Anyway, I do get the sense Marland has some use for Sara, or for Millette. It's only after he goes that she is dumped. Of course he didn't ever hire her for his other shows, so maybe I'm wrong. (then again he never hired Geraldine Court either and he seemed very fond of her) Ann is an odd character to me as she is a proto-Lillian in being defined by pining for a Bauer brother and being involved in the death of one of their wives. I do wonder what else they could have done with her. She was friends with Diane, wasn't she? They could have had Diane manipulate her against Mike, I suppose.
    • Yassss....come on Maurice and Brandon...give us nothing!!! Wow, their need to develop their craft shone like a blinding light this episode. Brandon in his Martin and Smitty scenes sounded like he was reading and the facial expressions were giving Disney Channel. He did much better against Maurice in the Martin v Ted scenes. Now, Teddd-dyy (Dana's voice) was just flat. I watched the episode just now after reading the comment on here that Maurice needs to stop swaying, and now I can't unsee it. Has it really been this bad all along?  Ambyr carries. I don't need to say anymore. I am kind of excited to see this Kat/Tomas/Eva stuff play out.  Bill is such a dick to Dani. Like that's the mother of your children that you cheated on with your daughter's best friend but you look to take those low blows. Lord! When he said that thing about it being obvious he didn't care about Dani anymore since he was the one that walked out...that was cold. I even felt for Dani. Bill definitely is all over the spectrum. You can see a villain possibly surfacing, but you also see this great father. The elder Duprees move a little funny. I'm wondering what that is all about. Are they just overly protective matriarch and patriarch because they think it's what's best for their family, or are they afraid their secrets will come out or there's something more sinister there. Why would Vernon want to keep that information from Martin?  I hope something interesting comes out of this June stuff, but as of right now, I'm not too invested. It's not helping my interest on Naomi or Jacob either. However, tge actress playing Naomi has comes a long way from day one.
