Members Matt P.
Today's episode was amazing! There was so much going on but the camera angles made it feel different...very different. Next to B&B, this show is ranking up there as the best soap to watch. Hopefully the ratings go up and I think that with the Loah storyline, that it will. Members P.J.
I think the camera work was meant to give a hyper-reality spin to the show. There's also a kind of cramped and "nightmarish" quality (especially in the Kack/Carly scenes) that makes it almost uncomfortable to watch. Thank God it's not a permanent thing, by the looks of next week's previews. (And at least the "rocking" motion made me semi-nauseous; so by the time Jack got to his "toast" I was already sick...) So...who's more deluded about their relationship with Jack? Carly, who's hanging on to the slimmest shreds of hope in the face of a boatload of evidence to the contrary or Katie who believes she and Jack have "open, honest communication and respect" and "our relationship developed slowly and naturally, that's why it's meant to be." (BARF...that's obviously why Katie hasn't told Jack what he said, or why Jack hasn't mentioned he kissed Carly in Idaho...) My vote goes to Katie....but I wish Carly wouldn't subject herself to this kind of humiliation. I believe Carly's ultimately right about Jack, but there's a point she's just got to say "go to hell, and ruin your own life. But don't make me watch." Speaking of watches...why doesn't Katie's fit? You can't tell me expensive watches don't have some type of adjustable band. Katie is still acting like a bitch to Brad...what did he "do" to thwart Carly's plan? LOL...I'd love to have heard Brad explain that he kept Jack and Carly's hands from touching in the tub of buttered popcorn. Wait...now Luke kissed Noah??? WTFE. I think something's off with Win...he was more than a little weirded out by catching V and Henry. And, btw, who makes out in a diner FULL of windows? Holden may have been overboard with Lil today...but he did make the excellent point that Dusty was more than capable of trying to kill Craig with a bullet to the chest. Teehee....can't wait for next week...especially seeing Fluff bewildered with Jack. LOL!!!! *hums*
Members Sweet_VeeVee24
I'm beyond tired of Katie.....She doesn't want Brad to help her keep Carly at bay, yet, she's parading around making it very loud and clear that she doesn't want Carly around... The only reason why Katie wanted Carly at the party wasn't for the kids, it was just so she could rub it all up in her face that she's got a man (yet another clueless one at that) and Carly doesn't. Noah's father is beyond strange to me at times...just his hyperness over Noah and Maddie moving in (granted of only being together for such a short time) is a little strange to me. I like Vienna, but lose the outfit.
Members NYC123
It was a boring show. The camera was even worse.
Members alwaysAMC
Does anyone here watch AMC? They haven't been using this shakey-cam thing in about a YEAR. Give it up - there is no need to ask "Why would ANY SOAP want to copy AMC?" Get over yourself. ANYWAY Loved the Noah/Luke stuff - I'm ready for Maddie to find out and get this over with! I want Jack/Carly back together for good. The writers have to know they're ruining Katie (and any popularity she had) by putting her into this role. Members winterguy125
Make sure you have a bucket near by incase you get seasick Today's camera action was more proof of why Ghotman needs to be canned. But like I said though you will like today's show other than that, lots of umbrella like storyline telling.
Members Soapsuds
Eh...I was getting dizzy from the previews yesterday. Goutman needs to stop copying AMC. I hate when the try messing with the camera action...like that is the problem with ATWT woes......Its the Hack Passanante.....Mr. Goutman.... Members Chris B
GMAFB! AMC fans themselves overwhelmingly rejected that camera and most of what the current EP has done. Throw in Megan McTavish and why would anyone copy modern AMC (or modern Y&R, GH, ATWT, etc.)?! AMC may not be using that camera now, but they prominently featured it last year so obviously people would make the comparison. You can get over yourself and stop getting an attitude because someone stated their opinion! This is not personal, it's a discussion board about soap operas for heavens sake. From the previews it's a good thing this camera work isn't likely to stay. It was horrible and very difficult to watch. At times I felt like I was watching GL with that lighting.
Members titan1978
I thought the camera stuff was cool during the serial killer in the woods thing last year, not so much today. Loved Carly though. And Noah/Luke. I can't wait for this one to keep playing out.
Members Sweet_VeeVee24
After reaqding spoilers in various places, something tells me that Katie's little Happily Ever After will go POOF
Members WorldTurner
I sure hope Katie's little happily ever after goes poof! I've never used the ff so much as I have the last couple of days since Katie returned to town. I can't even watch her anymore and she is dragging down both Jack and Carly. Overall, I thought the show was really boring. Right now I'm finding the Lily/Dusty aspect the most interesting and anxious to see where that goes. Members Nekozawa
The camera technique they used was very weird. Everything looked blurry on my screen I'm used to shaky-cams so that didn't bother me much, but it's good that it's not permanent because ATWT has my favouirte "look" out of all the soaps I watch; I like that it's not all saturated and orange-y/yellow-y. Holden really annoys me. He has a point about Dusty, but he comes off as a jerk anyways; maybe it's the way he's been acting latley. It makes me take Lily's side no matter how unwise the thing she does is. Noah Noah Noah. So now Luke is the one who kissed him. Riiiiiiight. I'm glad Maddie's catching on. I can't wait to see what happens next week! I felt really bad for Carly today! I could barely sit through the party scenes. Especially Jack's speech; I almost had to change the channel. But it was worth it for the lulz that came when that watch didn't fit Katie

Members All My Shadows
It was a so-so episode. I liked Holden/Lily and Noah/Luke, but the rest...eh. I'm gonna go back and watch the barbecue again. I fast-forwarded most of it. Noah definitely has a point regarding Luke thinking he knows everything. OK. Yes, Noah kissed Luke. And he came right out and told him that he meant it. But Luke keeps acting as if he and Noah have been in a sexual relationship for years. It is very possible to be bisexual and for Luke to say that Noah has absolutely no feelings towards Maddie is very small-minded of him, I think. But, Noah really is wrong for wanting to keep it a secret. When that secret blows up in his face, Maddie is not going to be thrilled, neither will his father, and Luke will probably be the last thing on his mind. And then he'll be miserable and lonely.
