This is an interesting twist and it is about DAMN time that Brooke get called out on being a bad mother.

Line of the day:

"I have four children with three different men and two of them are related! There's a word for that and it's mistakes."

(or something like that)

No Brooke honey it's called: Whore!!!

^^LOL!

Today's episode wasn't too exciting or maybe I just wasn't paying to much attention to the tape. I wish I had went ahead and recorded the second half of Passions. I really wanted to see this episode.

It's about to be 5 children with 4 different men, three of whom are related...sort of. I thought the family relationships on the Big Love (HBO show) polygamist compound were confusing! At this point Brooke's kids are going to be related in so many different ways they'll need their own family tree to keep it straight!.

Eric is Bridget and Ric's father. Deacon is Hopes father. Ridge is RJ's father. Nick is father to Brooke's baby that Taylor is carrying. Eric is Ridge's father, except not really. Ridge and Nick are brothers. So some of Brooke's children will be cousins as well as siblings. If Taylor is also considered the child's mother that makes things a little sticker, but I guess we'll see how that plays out.

Today Storm & Dorothy actually got to interact and have real dialogue. Loved it. And both of them. I hope we see a lot more of both of them.

The whole show was pretty good up until Brooke's shrieky outburst at the end. She had to know that acting like that couldn't possibly help her.

    • So, this was fun. Elsewhere, friendly to polls, a poll on what do you want to see at the Nurses Ball. The Gio reveal got 18%, for Blaze to return & sing also got 18%, for Jennifer Hudson to do a cameo & sing got 10% and for Lucy to lose various parts of clothing got 9% but the huge one was the reveal of Drew/Nina sex which got a whopping 45%!
    •   I liked the effect of the curtains closing. Yeah it was like the end of Act I.   Or maybe they are simply trying to emphasize the drama of the end of an episode -- instead of a random abrupt end that has happened in some prior episodes.
    • I posted this in the behind the scenes thread but I know this thread is busier so wanted to mention it here as well. During their instagram live yesterday, Daphnee Duplaix and Trisha Mann-Grant mentioned that they will find out this month if the show is renewed for another season. Just a heads up so we can keep an eye out for an announcement and keep our fingers crossed for a multi-year renewal!
    • They haven't explained the ownership of the Bistro, but Doug told Holly the other day he didn't get the job there. Basically Roman just hired Doug on the spot and gave him a room.  It was really nice of Roman.  I don't know if he knows who Doug is or that he stole Julie's necklace.  That was unclear-at least to me.
    • I'm not sure how I felt about it, but I do kind of like that it felt like the show telling us this concludes the first chapter of the series. Could be interesting if they only do it for big aftermath episodes. The biggest mistake with Martin is that it's almost hard to buy his anger because we've gotten no strong scenes with him and his parents. They've all been with Anita/Vernon. I can't even remember him ever even saying one word to Nicole, even in passing.
    •   Thank you! Agreed on both posts. And the comments about Mike Manning are nonsense.
    • I haven't watched yet, but did they explain the current ownership of The Bistro?  Because when RonC was writing, wasn't he applying for work with Sophia?
    • I think Brandon has gotten better in normal day to day scenes, but he’s very over the top when the character is meant to be angry or agitated. I did laugh when she started yelling at Leslie and then when he started to throw all those damn books, lol. He needs an acting coach to work out some of these kinks.
    • I've never found him as bad as some. I think he's always shined in scenes with Vernon, who should be his father. I also think he has great chemistry with Kat and Dani which I hope they tap into more over time. Dani/Martin feel like such a fun and believable Auntie/Nephew relationship.
