ETA: And if Adrianne was fired because of her weight, she should sue the pants off Y&R. They knew she gained weight do to some medication she was taking, hence IMO them dressing her in all those dark colors. Regardless of that, she's the best young actress on the show. And Colleen is an Abbott AND a Carlton. And now Eyal's character is in a really bad position if they don't re-cast Colleen with another actress he has chemistry with because right now the character of Adrian Korbel has no purpose if he's not with Colleen because he's not tied to the canvas.

If the weight issue is true then she needs to sue immediately. And I'm stunned that sh*t like this actually happens in Daytime....

I'm glad that I'm no longer watching on the other hand. Yet another actress with TALENT is forced out of the door. Yet, Josh Morrow got a reprieve and Amber, David and Brad get extended contracts and/or major screentime.

The once great Y&R is nothing but a sad joke anymore.

And with Lyndsy, Davetta, AshBash, Lauren, Camryn & Adrianne MIA, LML is gonna ruin Heather next.

Wasn't Camryn gone before LML took over at Y&R? I think she was writing then but I believe that she didn't take over as EP till the beginning of 2006. Plus, with Camryn saying that she was going to leave in March of 2006 anyways, who knows what kind of story she would have with LLM having a firm grasp on the show by then. Camryn was let go just at the right time because her exit story was one of the last great stories Y&R did since it was at the beginning of LLM's stint at Y&R and she had little power at that point.

Camryn actually didn't want to leave permenantly, she just wanted more opportunities to do outside work (which JS refused).

The story was crap.

It was the performances that made it top notch IMO.

LML is slime for the way she did this. It also looks like she used some kind of excuse to keep AL from attending the Emmy's. So nice of Ms. Latham, especially since Adrianne was in both episodes submitted for the best show award.

I'm sure there's a recast already screen-tested, and in place. Adrianne would not been fired so abruptly if there wasn't someone ready to go.

Come on, Lynn. She's 20 years old.

Leon was great in the role, but Lyndsy Fonseca owns that role. It's totally not like a Devetta and Christel situation. I was fond of Adrienne too, but there was something about Fonseca's Colleen that made her more appealing and fierce.

I'm just sad to see Adrienne go, I hope she finds work in primetime and movies.

ITA with you. This Colleen was fine and I eventually came to accept her as Colleen. But the original Colleen just was Colleen.

If they fired her because of her weight gain that is awful. I was really hoping for Colleen and Kevin.

This just gives me another reason as to why I am NOT watching the show anymore. I only made sure I caught the marathon eppy's on soapnet to watch Colleen/Adrian because I was in love with their chemistry as a couple. I reallly gets me at how poorly they treated Adrianne, she is very talented and if they don't have any room for talent at Y&R then it's their loss. It shouldn't surprise us after what happened recently with Victoria Rowell and Eileen Davidson...When AL first took over the role of Colleen I didn't like her just like when Davetta took over as Lily, but after a few shows I really began to like both of them. I definately will not accept a recast Lindsay or not. I never realized how much talent Davetta had and how much CK lacks until DS was gone. I guess I will just have to have the s/l's play out in my head with the could of, should of's just like I think of how kick a** DS would be right now the the whole stupid Daniel/Amber porn s/l.
