Don't worry. I only viciously, condescendingly, brutally attack if you mention Amanda L. Beall. I go into my psychotic Joanna Cohen obsessed rage and start ripping sweet, innocent posters limbs off and beating them with them.

At least... that's what the peanut gallery tells me. Oops! Was that too condescending again? :unsure:

Speaking of which, the Vegas showgirl wig killed the scenes for me almost instantly. I can't see it as the french maid wig, I see it as the Vegas showgirl wig. Sigh, and the whole E/J/B's thing is back to immature, that's what Erica gets for taking advice from her fetus on stalking, lol.

^ well since others said it, and i won't get accused of just sayng it because I'm a hater...I thought it was terrible. I think Erica looked sad and pathetic, and the entire thing reeked of desperation. I wasn't impressed. And had she not sent Babs out to sea, the entire ting rather then just 2/3's would have made me cringe. :(

Yeah, that kind of saved it for me. What I would have had her do was just send Barbara out to sea once Jack got off the boat - no blonde wig, no breakfast in bed, no not-too-subtle sucking up to Jack. Erica was wrong, but there's better ways for a diva like La Kane to say she was wrong and get her man back!

JointStrikeFighter, you'll be glad to know you couldn't be farther from the truth how any of it went down at AMC when the Ava/Lily thing came about, but I do respect the fact that you admit the whole hypocrite thing.

I think once you get a chance to watch Leven, you will see she can more than pull the storyline off. Considering ATWT just copied the idea of Jennifer Hudson, it says something

At first, I wondered why this thread was so heavy handed on the Ava/Levin aspect of the show. After finally seeing the show, what's the big deal? Granted, Levin is only 17, but she carried off the dual role. Minus the hooker aspect, something tells me she has more Ava in her than Lily. In regards to the story, is this a Pretty woman rip? Do all prostitutes have convo's with their clients?

Moving along...

The writers are going to force me to like Krystal. She called Tad out on his crap. It was about damn time; everybody and their Momma shouldn't be involved in the destruction of her marriage. Adam can take care of this piece of trash without Babe, JR or whomever her latest ovary tickler is this week spraying the air freshners to take away the stink of what KWAK did.

I also agree that the story shouldn't be played for so many laughs or with this audacious hypocrisy. What is Tad's problem? He needs to be committed. It's Adam's house. He had every right to stay put; it's all the other free loaders who have to take a walk in traffic. I almost wish the collusion between Adam/Josh were for real. JR is a !@#$%^&*].

Last but not least, Erica was amusing today, but I'm glad Jack checked her. She's been tossing her hair at Jeff for months. It's going to take more than dressing up as a maid in oder to regain his trust. Barbara may be a !@#$%^&*], but she was right- Erica is the ultimate spoiled brat.

I cannot believe that having fucked up the autistic child so bad, they have instead decided to introduce her slutty twin (sister, cousin, whatfuckingever) to try and mitigate the problem and keep the actress. What a [!@#$%^&*] sideshow. Hilarious.

They are still working this "Adam is Evil" angle, and for the life of me, I don't know how this happened. I don't see how Krystal and Tad conceiving a baby and Krystal lying about all of it is Adam's fault. Jamie's all, "I won't let Adam hurt anybody I care about!" Um... HOW DID ADAM HURT ANYBODY IN THIS STORYLINE?!

ITA. I loved seeing an important piece of J/E's long, romantic history used by her today. As she told him, he knows her well enough to let her actions speak for her :lol: I didn't think she carried it too far or looked desperate. As Erica said, and ITA with her, the only desperate person here is Barbara <_< . She looked like the outsider she is as J/E bantered over waffles and syrup ;) Deep inside Jack loved every minute of it and I bet he'll admit that to her at some point but yes he is hurt and it will take him time to heal. I wonder if it will be Jeff Martin who tells Jack what Erica said to him that day that she will always love Jack and he is her heart as she is his :wub:

As I suspected from the start, Jack rushed the divorce because he believed she wanted Jeff and he confirmed that for me today. The best part was the end when he said that and added that she signed the divorce papers and she stated, "You are wrong" and walked out as he questioned what he is wrong about. I think either Erica didn't sign or stopped the process or Livia is going to be my hero by not filing the final papers because she knows they belong together and would work things out eventually. :P Jack was as intrigued by the answer to that question as I was.

I loved Leven today and I loved Aidan/Ava. :P As far as the age thing is concerned, if they could put her with a 30 year old murderer than why can't they put her with a 30 year old good guy whom she has chemistry with? I think they are great together (I've been a closet Laidan fan like many others) and I can't wait to see this story unfold.

My favorite Erica lines today:

rbara: I won't touch anything with your prints on it.

Erica: Too late for that.

~~~~
Barbara: I am starving...sex with Jackson is better than I remember
Erica: Better eat up then...because you won't be this hungry again for a long time. :lol:
    • In the current environment, while it's small, there is a crumb of good news: Apparently, San Antonio voted for a DEMOCRATIC mayor, Gina Ortiz, beating the "right-hand man" of Gov. Greg Abbott, former Texas Secretary of State Rolando Pablos. https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/5337199-gina-ortiz-jones-wins-san-antonio/
    • Love this! You are both adorable. Wow
    • I have not gone back to watch much of 1987, but from what I've seen lately, it doesn't feel like the writers or producers had any sort of plan. The show feels as if it's constantly in flux.  I will give it credit for this. It's watchable for the most part minus Lisa/Jamie which I find nearly unwatchable now.   I don't find Cheryl mousy. I think she has a lot of quiet strength, but she was saddled with the Scott romance which the writers did not invest in. She had a good friendship with Julie (also criminally underused), and her interactions with Ada were enjoyable as well. I also like Layman, but Spencer was extremely talented and when Cass returns, Schnetzer and Spencer have some wonderful scenes. Spencer also fits in with Alexander, Hogan, and Marie.  I'd forgotten just how much I missed seeing Wallingford. IT was so good to see him again. Even when they didn't have a major plot, Felicia/Cass/Wallingford/Mitch always brings a smile to my face.
    •   Dani’s cute ass party planner. He gave me some tea but I was so drunk I don’t remember it.
    • NBC must have been grateful to have LHOTP, it's only hit and still strong after several seasons. Their next established show was Rockford Files at 45th. They didn't develop any comedies and relied on movies and mini series  which didnt establish viewer loyalty and habits. Their only new hit was mid season's Project UFO which debuted Feb up against Rhoda/On Our Own on CBS and How the West Was Won on ABC. It opened with a strong 36 share beating CBS and close to ABC as HTWWW had a 36 share over 3 hours. The next week UFO saw a respectable 32 share, then a 31 so it was slipping. A 28 share followed but a few weeks later it jumped back up to a 34. So no blockbuster but compared to what else they had, there was potential, So next season NBC sent it to Thursday up against Mork and The Waltons and it bombed.  They were smart to see potential in Chips, which took off on Saturdaysnext season. ABC was on a roll with Love Boat, 3's Company, Taxi, Eight is Enough adding to their hits. Their only real flops were Redd Foxx and San Pedro Beach Bums, an Aaron Spelling misfire. Like Redd Foxx, Harvey Korman was lured to ABC but his series was a filler that did well but was considered a time slot hit. Nancy Walker and Rob Reiner were also given series on the philosophy that not only were they popular names, their absence from popular shows like Sanford, Rhoda and All in the Family might weaken those shows. CBS were relying on old favorites. Betty White was strong the first few weeks then faded. Incredible Hulk was their strongest newbie. It was lucky for CBS that NBC was doing so badly or else some of their weaker shows would have really suffered.
    • That outfit looks like something Martin would wear lol.
    • Omg not we both ran into people from the show this weekend!
    • I guess he was let out the gates, because he's outside.
    • Yup.  You can hate John all you want, but like seriously he was the cornerstone of the show for years.  So he should get a long ass funeral and burial and all the things because Drake and John deserve that.
