Thank you Keith. I really am trying to be a good person, but I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. I'm way past being fed up. The lack of maturity that people who are older than I am have is sickening. I don't understand why this woman and her cronies (who shall remain nameless) continue to try and make life miserable for everyone else.

I can't cuss her out, because then I run the risk of getting in trouble. I can't ignore the woman because she says that makes it a cold environment. So basically I'm stuck with this silly bullshit day in and day out.

I must pray.....

That cracked me up. Brilliant.
As for the show I believe two things are true at once:
they have issues when it comes to structuring stories.
they’ve been deliberately coasting it for whatever reason maybe in attendance of a multiple year renewal.
I expect things to pick up steadily from the Cotillion on.

47-year-old here, and I agree with @Aback completely. I get nearly nothing out of the recent episodes. I still barely understand the plasma story and I haven't missed an episode. Almost nothing happens. It's sad. I really loved this show. I mean, I still do, but it's almost all filler now. Where's Lynette? When will Vanessa figure out she was played? Is Hayley going to actually DO any scheming that will have results? Where is Madison's mother? Is Anita cured? Can we put Kat in the Lynette/Hayley orbit and have her piece everything together? Maybe after Hayley kills Tomas...

Recommend Me A Primetime Soap Please!

Wow!! Thank you so much to all of you! There are so many thoughtful responses. It seems the overwhelming consensus is to watch Knots Landing with some great cases for Dallas.
I'm halfway through season 1 of Knots. The assault episode followed by the episode where Val's mom visits are excellent with great character development. I see what some of you mean about the duds, like the motorcycle gang. But the good outweighs the bad. No regrets so far!
I'm very curious and excited to see seasons where long term storylines start to form.
After reading what everyone has to say, I'll probably start mixing in episodes of Dallas, Dynasty, and yes, Falcon Crest ;) after a few seasons of Knots.

This is definitely good news. Someone just doesn't give up the EP title no reason. With Steve Kent gone, and now Josh no longer having the EP title, Sally is now the top dog at the show (in terms of being at the studio, obviously she has studio/network execs to report to). I predict Josh will be gone before the year ends.
Dream scenario: Sally brings in Natalie Minardi Slater and Janice Ferri Esser as Co-HWs. LOL

in other news: I still have a hard time believing Elizabeth is letting Ric put it in again after all these years. That's crazy to me. I can't really comprehend it. Are we sure they're not just going on trips where he tries to put on Next's "Too Close" and she just smiles and says goodnight?
I like how Sonny is like “Sidwell has proven tough to beat.” For real? Sonny, you and Jason used to bang with dudes every 4-6 weeks on these docks like you were filing quarterly taxes. Sidwell takes brunch with Lucy and goes to Aladdin Night. He lost a poker game to Lucky. He is not that threatening. The most he has done is pan-fry Michael and Sonny has somehow let that slide. Would not happen BITD!
