Thanks for the vote of confidence, Janie, Keith, and Kylie :) You don't know how much I appreciate it. ;)

Kylie, I sorta know how you feel. My middle brother couldn't come to my high school graduation because he had a business trip and his flight was landing (on his way home) right in the middle of graduation. He did, however, come to our trip to Copeland's to eat afterwards.

My sister, on the other hand, was being the spoiled b!tch diva she's always been and didn't come to graduation..or dinner..at ALL! She and my niece live like 5 minutes away from where I was graduating and she wanted to make an hour trip to my house and ride with my mom there because she didn't "want to waste any gas". However, my mom already had the maximum capacity of passengers that her vehicle could hold, so my sister took it as a sign that she wasn't wanted. After graduation, she called to tell me congrats and I asked if she was even coming to eat with us and she replied that she and my niece were riding around. After that, I didn't talk to her for 6 months. And though we're not as close as we used to be when we were kids and though she hurt me more than words can say, she's still my sister..and I still love her...... for some strange, odd reason.

BTW, my oldest brother and his wife are expecting a little girl in August and we just found out today that my middle brother and his wife are expecting. <<SHE already has a 2 year old son from a previous relationship.

Now..with my sister having a 3 year old girl and both my brothers expecting babies soon, I'm beginning to look at my own life. They all have kids or are gonna have kids, and I'm almsot 20 years old and haven't even lost my virginity yet!!!! :( Talk about despressing!!...

My parents are far more into this graduation thing then I am, so I don't blame my friend for not wanting to come to the ceremony (long, hot and boring, I don't even want to go, LOL) or the dinner afterward (my family is insane). But the party that I'm throwing afterward, complete with a limo, drinks on me, and clubbing on the Hollywood strip, and she won't come? That's the one part of all this that means anything to me, and she's got "other" plans. Ahhh.

Ah, you're still young. Very young, let life come to you, don't force it. As for sex, until a couple of months ago, after my last boyfriend (we haven't been together) I hadn't had sex in almost 4 years. LMAO But that was fine with me, life is about more then that. Just be happy with who you are and what you have now, and let the rest happen as it will. :)

So yesterday I spent all day at the County Courthouse for jury duty - and let me tell you, it was not fun. LOL! I was to report at 12noon to check in with 51 other people who got called in. So we check in and are put into this waiting room, filled out all the necessary questionaires, and we wait.

And wait. We waited about an hour and a half and were told that the attorneys and the judge would be coming to see us in a few minutes and they would be selecting 14 of us to sit on a jury for this criminal case that would start that day. Okay fine, so we wait. And wait. Another hour and a half goes past and we're stilling waiting.

Finally at 3:30pm (now mind you, we can't go anywhere but to the bathroom if we need to), we're getting restless and at this point just want to go home. At 3:30, we are told guess what? We all can go home! The accused has decided to plead guilty to all charges and we are dismissed!

Apparently the accused has been waffling between guilty and not guilty for weeks now, and plead not guilty, which is why we were called in yesterday. But his attorney had made 11 motions at 1:30pm and those had to be dealt with and took the hour and half to get through. And in the end his client plead guilty! LOL! ARGH!

So I sat in a room with 51 people for 3 and 1/2 half hours and did nothing. Apparently the accused heard we were restless and upset for waiting so long, he changed his plea at the last minute. OY VEY!!

Oh, I spent the 4 hours for $13.00. Yeah $9.00 plus they pay for my mileage which is about 17cents a mile. PSSH!! Yeah I didn't have a good day yesterday.

I hope today is better.

Jen

Jen, that was a mess. I do hope you have a better day today...

As for me, it's beautiful out here...and today being my day off, I'm going to enjoy it some. Starting next week, I'll be able to start my workout regimen; which I couldn't do when I was being called day in and day out by the retail store.

    • Oh wow that’s pretty awesome! I wish I had  approached him but there was so many people
    • In the current environment, while it's small, there is a crumb of good news: Apparently, San Antonio voted for a DEMOCRATIC mayor, Gina Ortiz, beating the "right-hand man" of Gov. Greg Abbott, former Texas Secretary of State Rolando Pablos. https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/5337199-gina-ortiz-jones-wins-san-antonio/
    • Love this! You are both adorable. Wow
    • I have not gone back to watch much of 1987, but from what I've seen lately, it doesn't feel like the writers or producers had any sort of plan. The show feels as if it's constantly in flux.  I will give it credit for this. It's watchable for the most part minus Lisa/Jamie which I find nearly unwatchable now.   I don't find Cheryl mousy. I think she has a lot of quiet strength, but she was saddled with the Scott romance which the writers did not invest in. She had a good friendship with Julie (also criminally underused), and her interactions with Ada were enjoyable as well. I also like Layman, but Spencer was extremely talented and when Cass returns, Schnetzer and Spencer have some wonderful scenes. Spencer also fits in with Alexander, Hogan, and Marie.  I'd forgotten just how much I missed seeing Wallingford. IT was so good to see him again. Even when they didn't have a major plot, Felicia/Cass/Wallingford/Mitch always brings a smile to my face.
    •   Dani’s cute ass party planner. He gave me some tea but I was so drunk I don’t remember it.
    • NBC must have been grateful to have LHOTP, it's only hit and still strong after several seasons. Their next established show was Rockford Files at 45th. They didn't develop any comedies and relied on movies and mini series  which didnt establish viewer loyalty and habits. Their only new hit was mid season's Project UFO which debuted Feb up against Rhoda/On Our Own on CBS and How the West Was Won on ABC. It opened with a strong 36 share beating CBS and close to ABC as HTWWW had a 36 share over 3 hours. The next week UFO saw a respectable 32 share, then a 31 so it was slipping. A 28 share followed but a few weeks later it jumped back up to a 34. So no blockbuster but compared to what else they had, there was potential, So next season NBC sent it to Thursday up against Mork and The Waltons and it bombed.  They were smart to see potential in Chips, which took off on Saturdaysnext season. ABC was on a roll with Love Boat, 3's Company, Taxi, Eight is Enough adding to their hits. Their only real flops were Redd Foxx and San Pedro Beach Bums, an Aaron Spelling misfire. Like Redd Foxx, Harvey Korman was lured to ABC but his series was a filler that did well but was considered a time slot hit. Nancy Walker and Rob Reiner were also given series on the philosophy that not only were they popular names, their absence from popular shows like Sanford, Rhoda and All in the Family might weaken those shows. CBS were relying on old favorites. Betty White was strong the first few weeks then faded. Incredible Hulk was their strongest newbie. It was lucky for CBS that NBC was doing so badly or else some of their weaker shows would have really suffered.
    • That outfit looks like something Martin would wear lol.
    • Omg not we both ran into people from the show this weekend!
    • I guess he was let out the gates, because he's outside.
