juniorz, it's probably because I was FIRST shocked about people who drink their urine for some form of healness (I forget just what it's supposed to heal). I was shocked by that perhaps when I was 10 or 11, when a woman came on Sally Jesse Raphael or some other talk show and said she did that and recommended others to do it.

So my reaction to THIS is rather mild since the precedent for disgust, in my earlier mind, was drinking it.

also, remember, I was expecting to hear that she peed on Tom Pelphrey -- which, like the Jackby or Ashford/Benson scenes, would affect another person. What Kim does with her face -- however disgusting it may be -- is her business.

Plus, she doesn't do that anymore, right? That's what somebody said. So that's another reason why it's not so bad to think about.

NOW, if I saw some old GL clips I would just be MORTIFIED for the men she kissed -- I mean, essentially, they could be RECEIVING a woman's URINE on their lips! And THAT IS THE MOST UNFORGIVABLE, DISGUSTING THING IN DAYTIME!!!

Kim could have EXPOSED them to disease!!! :(

It's not very responsible when it involves another person.

I will just bet that most of you Kim haters have never met Kim. If you had spent any time with her, you wouldn't bash her like you do. How you can hate her when you don't know her. I have spent time with her on 5 occasions, and I have spoken with her on the phone twice. She is NOTHING like you say she is. She is sweet, kind and loving to her fans and fellow cast mates.

If she wants to put pee with moisturizers on her face, that is her business. BTW, you can take precautions in obtaining urine to make it pure. Just like you do in the doctor's office.

Come, don't make statements about an actor or actresses without KNOWING them.

That's the bad thing about the internet. It's very easy to bad mouth real-life people because you are anonymous. I would be more impressed if people were willing to say this stuff to someone's face (but obviously they never would). It's one thing to hate a character and not like their story, but some people really seem to hate the actors personally. I have strong opinions about who I think can act and who I think has issues, but I don't have any personal feelings about them, except the ones I know.

Well, of course, most of us have never spoken to or met Kim. But frankly, when you overshare stuff about your life, up to and including any wacky beauty routine you followed, you kind of invite some criticism into your life. Coming (or rehashing--'cause I had no idea about the pee thing) right after the GL eppy that spent a good five minutes making KZ/port-a-pottie jokes, was kind of a "perfect storm" situation. WAY TMI.

But, otoh, KZ can certainly control how arrogant she sounds in the press. There's a difference between "frank" and "obnoxious". And contrast this with the Erica Slezak/OLTL thing that manages to nail her bosses to the wall. I don't even know ES, and she didn't come off as arrogant.

    • yes. today Monday's episode started with words displayed "part 1" and ended with "to be continued"
    • I find Missy Reeve's views offensive and I don't want to defend her, but I don't think she ever said anything publicly about Days "gay content".   In fact, I don't think she's ever said anything negative about Days at all.  There's no indication Missy is difficult or unprofessional on set-except for the whole affair thing years ago lol-but that's a whole different topic. I can dislike Missy as a person and still think she's the perfect fit for Jen.  Cady tried and it didn't work for me.  Whenever Missy steps into the role it works.  It's a two things can be true situation.  Missy has some bad opinions, but she's great at playing Jennifer.
    • Doesn't the funeral go into Tuesday
    • Christian Streaty wrote her second freelance script today on Days. Surprised they gave the first funeral episode to a newbie.
    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.
