DAYS: Monday

Poor Steve. What a tortured man. His hair's a tad too feathered today, though. Someone gave him Caroline's hairdo, LoL.

I hate to be the type of person who predicts the "next big couple," but I can't help it with Nick and Chelsea. They bring out the best in each other. And I could just eat Nick up with a spoon, damn!

Mary Beth Evans is doing an awesome job lately. She's bringing out a fire in Kayla that's been lacking since her return last year. I'm loving these Bo/Kayla scenes. They have a great bro/sis dynamic that's so natural.

I hope and pray every day you're right, but ever since Hogan called them a "tragic" couple, and because nick IS a dork, I just get the feeling that he is SO going to die just before they finally become a real "couple." Chelsea will have become a better person, all because of him, Shane Patton. Cue montage at Nick's funeral, of Chick's good times together. Chelsea vows to not let him down, and stay a good person. I just totally see that happening. :(

It's odd seeing Shawn and Belle talk about the stories that happened when Jason Cook and Kirsten Storms were in the roles, LoL. Oh, how I wish it would've been these two from the start. MMM, damn, Shawn's lookin' hot!

Belle: "I grew up a spoiled, rich kid. Never had to work for anything..."

Ahh, some nice character dialogue between these two today. Re-establishing who they are. I'm enjoying it. See? Filler doesn't have to be boring. They can make it interesting and meaningful. Lately, a big chunk of the show has been filler but it's still interesting because of fresh dialogue and interactions... I've been loving it.

Oh wow. I love the way Shawn said "okey-dokey," LoL.

Why is it that you ALWAYS say what's on my mind? Even the littlest things?

I LOVED "okey-dokey!" It was even a little HOT (don't ask).

YES! YES!

Chelsea: "I'm leaning heavily towards forgiving you." Sweet!

Oh God! She just asked him about the e-mails. "You did write them, right?" Then he shoots his eyes back and forth, grins and spits, "Yeah!" So cute, holy sh!t I wanna [[email protected]#$%^&*] him.

"I can always find another job... I'll never find another YOU." Swoon. Christ! I love these two, absolutely LOVE these two. I feel like I'm living vicariously through them, LoL.

Now that line was either really great or really cheesy, but I SWEAR I mouthed that he would say that just before he did. It was predictable, lol. Perfect line to get the girl back.

That sounds very spoilery, because it is a very good guess I never really considered. Dammit.

I totally see it happening. Not with JER but with a writer like Hogan, I can see the "tragic" descriptor mean that Chelsea's character grows from Nick's influence on her life; even in his death, she is touched by him. It's a bittersweet love story.

I am trying to recall if that comment was made when he initially discussed Nick as geeky virgin who *Chelsea* would deflower and then break off with him in a cruel way. Anyone else remember this? I swear that was his initial take on the storyline. Glad he took it in a different direction (could do with Billie's involvement though).

I do hope someone can confirm, with proof, this snippet. Because I seem to remember this too. I'm just trying to prepare myself since I've always believed Nick would tragically die -- JUST when he and Chelsea really get it goin'.

Don't get me wrong, I love Chick. But do they have great commercial appeal? That's the question. If so, then I think (and would hope) Hogan would rewrite their story -- again. Because they have the best story of any couple on "Days" as far as Im concerned. I'm riveted, absolutely RIVETED by the actors and the writing.

And I was just shocked and completely taken aback to see that, on a MONDAY no less, Hogan reunited these crazy cats. THAT FAST. You just don't see that. EVER.

I don't remember anything about Nick taking Chelsea's virginity. I do, however, recall him referring to Nick and Chelsea as a tragic love story right out of Shakespare (Romeo & Juliet). :(

OH, BAM.

You hit the nail on the head!

I remember that too. That's why I feared this story from the get-go. "Romeo and Juliet" means ONE THING: death to Nick.
