I'm watching ATWT right now and I have to laugh. The way Jean is writing Parker and Faith is cute. I wish the actor that plays Faith was a little older so that it doesn't look like Parker is robbing the cradle, but I'll take it. Jean has given a new definition teen love. She's starting them early!

I have no clue why Paul's become the crazy old man in the woods...other than there's no other woman to pair him up with, and they refused to inflict Katie upon him.

I think nuParker's emergence is the only positive thing to come from Simon's last return. It's gonna be something when Carly returns and finds out Parker's become a rebel.

*eye roll* Couldn't Gwen have gone to the nearest candy machine and bought herself another plastic "wedding" ring?

Today's show was just ok, nothing to write home about  Parker and Faith were the highlights of the show again, have I mentioned how much I love Parker. Paul was alittle bit tolerable today. Main thing missing today was action, it did not really seem like there was any. Also very unbalanced I would have liked to see more than just Lily/Holden/Faith/Parker/Jack/Paul storyline, and the Gwen/Maddie/Casey/Will storyline, one of the things that made the shows early in the week so good was because they had like 4-5 storylines in each show.

Also will add that James has now been brought up 3 times this year, my question is you keep bringing his name up, but where is he??? I want James.

And thank the good lord for THAT small mercy. I adore Roger Howarth. He's so talented. I just cannot imagine him being reduced to having sex with Katie in every other scene. I wonder if PEg is over for good? I really liked that pairing.

I'd love to see a Parker/Faith teen love story develope. Just not yet. I like the idea of them sharing scenes and being close for the next couple of years though. I wish they would keep this Faith too and age her this summer or next, which I think is probably inevitable.

After today and this week I can almost forgive JP for turning Adam bad and killing him.

Man the stuff we are getting is so good. And if this had been some random music guy/new character it would be so hard to care about the murder - and all the family drama would be gone with it too.

I know he is a legacy character and I hate when we lose them - but the drama is so good. And I love how Will is feeling so betrayed by it all. I can't wait to see where JP goes with all of this.

My point exactly.

I watched a bit of ATWT today and while I admit I was upset that they decided to age Parker & J.J., the actors playing there are really good. I kinda have to get used to Parker being the rebel now as opposed to J.J...I would think it'd be the other way around.

I'm still not liking the new Faith. Don't know why. And I'm not exactly thrilled with the prospect of a "Path" pairing.

Haha..I know I sound like a total hypocrite. But I always saw Parker & Faith practically being raised as cousins together. Jammy weren't. However, like I mentioned in another thread, I shouldn't judge since my own parents have known each other since they were little kids (although they didn't share family dinners together or belong to the same family). Also, I haven't watched ATWT regularly in a very long time so maybe there is chemistry there that I didn't see during those 3 short minutes of them that I saw today.

Then again, I guess there are people out there who think it's adorable to watch these little kids growing up as the next supercouple. In that case...whatever floats people's boats..

    • I wouldn't call Tomas' cuts a modern cut. They appear to be a slim/extreme slim cut⏤cut slimmer down the sides, with a higher armhole, which pulls up/out, depending on the fit of the person's body. Again, I feel like Ms Featherstone is buying to fit the wrong parts of the body; instead of buying to fit their widest parts (shoulders), she's buying things to fit their middle/waist (which is the easiest to ultimately fix without a complete re-cut), and it shows in the finished product. And the only reason it irks me is because I worked in suit sales for nearly ten years, and I notice these things immediately. The fashion(s) on this soap are miles ahead of three of the four others (I like the fashions from Y&R), but the tailoring is a choice, especially where the men are concerned.
    • There probably would have been a good chance they knew of him, especially with his ties to Spaulding and his being involved in so much scandal (meaning there would be plenty of photos and articles around they both would have seen), but I agree the mask was silly, clearly just a TV moment.

    • I think all the suits are fit too tight, except for Jon Lindstrom's. DC lawyers/doctors are not all LA fashion elites. Yes, maybe Tomas would have a more modern cut to his suit, but an established guy like Bill wouldn't go around looking like that lonely button on his jacket was ready to explode constantly.
    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
