Cady's stint with ATWT ended in a similar fashion - She was unhappy and spoke her mind. While she wasn't forced out, she did not leave on good terms with Chris Goutman, especially when they fired Hunt - which was the straw that broke the camel's back. I doubt they'd ask her back and I doubt she wants to be asked back.

Frankly, I don't think Cady will return to a soap for a while, if ever. She's been working in soaps for pretty much 9 years nonstop (AMC to ATWT then back to AMC after a little break) and 7-8 years before that. I truly believe she's lost hope in daytime and wants a break from all the bullshit that is EVERYWHERE.

Cady to Days? Hogan may love Cady (or used to) but Cady was very unhappy with his writing toward the end of his ATWT run (for good reason I think) and was very vocal about it.

Yes she is. LMAO I once said I'd take JER over MMT, I was only half kidding.

A list of the quotes from the last year or so, I think i can come up with. Give me a day or so though, I want to find all the Josh ones. Those were doozes. Although, the one where she says she pulled Tad as Greg's murderer out of her ass, is right up there.

She is a piece of work, and she has NO shame. None. There is NOTHING MMT won't do, nothing.

I dont know why Cady would be disappointed with Hogan's writing. She did run the show. It was her 24/7. Which at the end got tiresome and repetitive. Why she upset she wasnt paired with Craig and instead with Paul?

True dat. McTavish is just one of Satan's servants but JER is Satan himself.

Jean P wrote Rosanna's last three months by her lonesome but Cady's troubles with World Turns began way before that. She apparently hated Rosanna wanting a child, having a child, and then losing the child and losing the character's spark and spunkiness in the process.

Do you watch AMC? I mean, I know the things JER does/did, and he's a twisted SOB too...but this woman, she gets her jollies out of torturing/raping women, disprecting history, killing beloved characters, ruining couples that were YEARS in the making, etc. Shoulds like she and JER are cut from the same mold, or she's following in his path, one of the two. JER might be the worst, but MMT is riding his ass, probably literally, knowing her, for that top position, IMO.

I don't blame her, but I think that was JP who was responsible for the baby mess. Look at her obsession w/ babies!

If the story was well planned and executed well, she shouldn't have had a problem. She probably hated the damn Cabot story just as much as we did.

    • I think all the suits are fit too tight, except for Jon Lindstrom's. DC lawyers/doctors are not all LA fashion elites. Yes, maybe Tomas would have a more modern cut to his suit, but an established guy like Bill wouldn't go around looking like that lonely button on his jacket was ready to explode constantly.
    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.
