I think because of this season, changes will be made to American Idol and America will no longer have the final say on these singers' careers.

Sanjaya is liked because he brings buzz to Idol. That's it. He has improved, barely.

He'll go sixth, IMO, just like Pickler did. He's the fad on Idol everyone just "loves" but the novelty will wear off eventually.

Phil and Haley better be next.

I agree. He is just the traditional fad or person picked to try to sabatoge the show. I don't think changes will me made but I do think the judges will be careful who they let in to the fan voting stages from now on. They should be more aware so that this issue doesn't happen every year. It didn't happen in Season 1 or 2 so it can be done. Sometimes I wonder if the judges are told to let someone like a Sanjaya or Picklet in just so that there can be some big shocks and surprised.

I think Haley and Phil are next. They have been in the bottom more then anyone. I still think Lakisha will go by the top 4 too. Here is what I am thinking in terms of elimination (of course, this isn't based on any performances yet):

Next to go: Haley then Phil followed by Sanjaya, Lakisha, Chris, and Blake. That gives you the final 2 of Jordin and Melinda and I am still picking Jordin to win. It's just a gut instinct and so far I am 5 for 5 going with my gut pertaining to Idol. My gut told me last year that Taylor would win but I kept hoping I was wrong. I just have the feeling Jordin will do it.

I stand by my words concerning Sanjaya and have wiser ones than me to back me up. He won't make a difference though in the final results. If you guys are so disappointed that Gina left, how many times did you vote for her? Apparently not enough and neither did the rest of the voters. It's not American Idol's fault. It's the voters fault. It isn't even Gina's fault because she did her best and trusted her fans to support her and they did not.

I think Phil and Haley are the next two to go also....but I tell you, LaKisha came within a hair of being eliminated this week. That needs to be a wakeup call for her supporters to vote like crazy for her next week.

The AOL poll is 100% for accuracy through tonight. If you are so concerned about how to vote to save anyone, check it before time is up and see if you need to place more votes for your favorite....that's my suggestion. Yelling and screaming after the fact is a waste of energy.

How did Lakisha come within a hair of being eliminated this week? She was in the top 3.

Very upset about Gina being eliminated. I think I'm through with AI. It just isn't right that people with talent are going home and Sanjaya is still there. For that matter, I thought Gina was better than Haley and Phil also.

And I did vote for Gina, but I only got through a few times. Probably because I live very close to her home town and everyone else in the area was voting for her, too.

Melinda, Lakisha and Jordin should be final three and Jordin is my pick to win. I'm sure all three will get record deals anyway and be very successful, no matter what happens with AI.

Lakisha was in the top 3 so she wasn't even close to being eliminated.

As for people not voting, I did vote and I know many all over who did. It's just that the people are voting for fun and games and not on talent. You also have votefortheworst, Stern, and all those that hate Idol trying to sabotage it for fun and games. Sanjaya is becoming a joke and it's sad. The kid and his family seem nice but those voting for him are subjecting him to a tone of ridicule and bashing. It's unfair and mean but that is what happens. If his fans truly care about him, they will stop voting and let him leave the competition because I have seen people John Stevens, Jasmine Trias, Kevin Covais, etc go through this and it's tough because they are nice people but they shouldn't be there and the crowd is taking it out on them. They shouldn't be in that situation to being with and the judges need to be careful who they offer to the fans to vote on and America needs to go back to voting on talent. Sanjaya fans need to recognise that all they are doing is hurting this kid in the end.

Do you really believe that Vote for the Worst and Stern make any difference. The powers that be say they do not so that is nothing to throw out there. It is the voters. If you like a person, vote for them. That is simply all you can do.

The AOL poll has been 100% accurate and the last time I looked before going to bed, LaKisha was dead last. She was second to dead last when Gina slid below her at the very end, so I am thinking some LaKisha fans managed to get some votes off in time for her. She was very nearly history. Of course, next week there will be tons of votes for her as no one will take chances IF they really like her.

When you stop and think about it, Melinda, Jordin and LaKisha are very similar in style and this is about the time where voters drop others to stick to their favorite. Melinda and Jordin will probably pull votes away from LaKisha and she will go before the top four, I think. It's also, why Gina didn't get the votes, I'm thinking. The people who cared for her type of song gave their votes to Chris R., Phil or especially Blake.

I hope the decision stays with America, but I hope the producers STICK IT to America, beginning this season, by adding a new "vote whom you would bring back" section. In this case, Gina would SO get the pick. I think people would more likely vote, in that situation, genuinely.

Add me to the definitely PISSED OFF viewer. Gina was in my Top 4 the last 2 weeks and should've been far from the Bottom 3. Sanjaya needs to go. He did fairly well 2 weeks ago, but is still pitiful. How anyone thinks he is improving is beyond me! Haley is pathetic and should've went home, or the the horrible this week Phil. Those 3 were worse than Gina this week and always have been IMHO.

I just checked the AOL poll and already LaKisha is dead last again. Sanjaya is number one. I think people who really care about who wins needs to start paying attention to this poll. These are the people who vote who are voting there. When you add your vote, it is a vote for your fav (as far as the results of the poll goes).

THANK YOU America for getting rid of Gina. Ive hated her since Hollywood bc she came across as a biyatch and find her highly overated. I am so glad she's gone. I was scared Hayley was gonna be a goner this week.

They do this 3 groups of 3 EVERY season. It was so obvious who was staying and who was going. I knew Sanjaya was safe when he was next to Blake and Chris. I see him staying at least another 2-3 weeks
