I remember when Kathy Foster left it was her choice. I guess she's one of the people Toups mentioned left on their own accord because LML is such a nightmare to work with. It's nice to see Ed is starting with the quality Y&R additions.

I know some DAYS fans are wary about real change, but I don't think Sony/NBC would waste their time if they aren't going to allow ES to really revamp the show. I'm very hopeful and have been tuning in more often (although I HATE Hogan's writing).

I'll give today's show a go and see how Kay's directing is.

You should check out Thursday's episode too. Kay's directed the episode and it's suppose to be really good.

Toups, I just saw some of the clips from tomorrow's show and IMO it's breathtaking. So good in fact I shudder to imagine what these scenes would have looked like had they happened before Ed Scott took over because it's just such higher quality work it's unbelievable to me. I simply can't ever remember DOOL looking so PRETTY.

If this is the sort of work we can expect on a daily basis from her, then WOW. Kathryn Foster is definitely YandR's loss and DOOL's gain.

IMA, I couldn't agree more. I can't wait to talk about this tomorrow, only because of the production value. the ireland scenes are magnificent. (Although we don't have much to compare it to, based on the last few years)

Makes you wonder what the SSK story SHOULD have looked like. :-)

eta: Sorry, mods! Just realized this was in the directors/writers thread. *ahem* back on topic: thank you for bringing on Kathy Foster!

Hmmm.....I don't know. I assumed she was going to be part of the team taking Phil Sogard's place. I think Phil retired because his last episode was on June 25.

James Baffico's also a regular director and he's not listed.
