The way I took the cover, it means that the "crossing the line" part was in regards to John's story, not Sami's.

Maybe the way that J/M learn to communicate while he's in a coma is that... I dunno... he's still able to get an erection and can give Marlena a 'thumbs up' that way? RoFL!
