It was a great conclusion to the yearly Christmas miracle. Although this Kate business is a little contrived it had the touch of warmth you needed for it to be worth it. Both Tad and Dixie wishing on the same star, then Julia and Jamie find the little girl in the back seat of the wrecked car and the girl smiles. We even got Palmer and Myrtle today going out together for a Christmas date, even though Palmer claims its a charity date, Myrtle knows the old coot is hot for him (in her words) LOL. I loved the ending, where the Christmas carol was being sung as they flashed at each Christmas gathering. Michael E. Knight has more material to add to an already jammed pack emmy reel as he asked god for forgiveness and to watch over Kate. I am loving AMC again, it is what AMC should be. Certainly not perfect but at least its going forward and not backwards.

This should have been Friday's episode, without a doubt. It was really nice. All that was missing was the party at the Martins' house.

As a HUGE Jerica fan I can say that I LOVED IT :P I loved the sizzling look, the kiss, and their standing together watching their family as it should be. I only wish we had more interactions between all of the K/M family but I guess that would take away from the same old, same old with Babe and the Lavery's <_<:( Heck, I even liked Josh today and glad he told Erica how Jack came to him months ago to tell him he wanted to be part of his life as well. If I have to be stuck with Fetus boy than I like this version of Josh much better than the one I've seen from the start.

I loved the Tad/Father Clarence scenes and again MEK hits it out of the park.I liked how they worked the accident scenes in with Tad's talking about Kate and the end with Dixie talking to the stars. :)

ITA that AMC is making strides to become itself again and this episode was a great example.

Michael E Knight better at least be nominated as lead actor. His performance today had me in tears.

I'm glad that Tad & Dixie both wished on the star, even if they weren't together.

I also miss the Martin Christmas parties, but I doubt we'll see another one, at least as long as Frons is in charge.

Jack & Erica still sizzle. I just loved their kiss!

Palmer, Myrtle, Stuart, & Marian were all on, even if their scenes were brief. It felt like AMC again.

Kate! Yay! I'm so happy..I really hope it turns out to be Dixie and Tad's girl.

The scenes w/ Tad at the church were REALLY good.. I knew Krystal wasn't going to tell the truth haha..I'm sooo glad that Erica and Jack are back together. Really could've done w/o Annie!

Normally, I can do without religion on my soaps. Today was very good though. When Father Clarence mentioned all JR's misdeeds and said Tad must have given up on him and then compared Tad never giving up on JR to God never giving up on Tad, I was very touched. I think of the soaps I watch, AMC has done the best job with Christmas.

I love that Colby and Shawn did all they could to get Jack and Erica together. That was the perfect redemption for those (formerly) self involved, obnoxious brats. Now that I see a softer more generous side to Colby, I'm starting to like her a lot. I love her and JR as brother and sister.

The Jack and Erica scenes were really good too. They have so much more chemistry than Erica and Jeff (imo). Erica just lights up the screen with Jack. I hope this reunion doesn't fall apart when Erica finds out Shawn was behind it.

Ok just got to my tape of yesterday's show...and it was really good!

First, I am so happy we finally got our Marian/Colby scene - even though it was brief - it was very much needed. I loved the Liza talk and how Marian explained to Colby that she wants her to have a Christmas with her father after denying her of that for so many years.

Second, LOVED the Myrtle/Palmer thing - that was so sweet. I'm so happy someone decided to say "Hey we need Myrtle, Palmer, Marian, and Stuart in the Christmas episode!"

Third, I loved the Erica/Jack 'reunion'. It was so sweet when Erica showed up at their house and said Merry Christmas to each other and then kissed. It was so sweet and Jack/Erica DO still have it. I am officially rooting for them to be back together.

Finally, the Tad scenes with Father Clarence were wonderful. I loved the end where Dixie and Tad wished on the same star - finally they both were able to wish on the same star again. Then it ends with Julia/Jamie finding the little girl in the wrecked car. How wonderful! I couldn't tell if that girl is adorable or not, but I hope she is! Speaking of adorable, that little Emma is SO adorable and I loved the end during the traditional Christmas song montage (THANK YOU AMC!) where Emma went to Jonathan this time and he picked her up and she hugged both Jonathan and Ryan. That little girl is making me a big Annie/Ryan fan. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be.

This show was great! I can't wait for today's show. AMC has been back for me all month! I'm loving it.
