According to TV Guide, American Idol is planning a mid-season special show that "will blow America away" LOL. Here is the link.

I'm really looking forward to this new season and wonder if another Chris Daughtry will be amongst the contestants or something entirely new like a Sam Harris who blew America away with Talent Search 1.

    Actually it was Star Search. I loved the show with Ed Mchmanon. I espcially loved it when they add the male model category...haha.
