Christie Clark (Ex-Carrie, Days of our Lives) said in a chat with her fans that she would love to play the roll of Courtney on General Hospital and that she is going to do an audition for that part. What are General Hospital fans thinking about this news?

Christie is a horrible actress imo, she always looks as if she's reading her lines off a cue-card. Though Courtney was a waste of a character, at least ALW could act somewhat.

Obviously we weren't watching the same show. When she was given worthwhile material, Christie blew it out of the water and garnered back to back Emmy nom's for her skill.

This last return was so badly written she didn't even try, and true fans saw that.

I never really got any good vibes from her. I always found her quite laughable, I think Alison Sweeney kicked her ass acting-wise in the scenes they had together. Alison is probably the best actress in her age group on daytime imo. Alison had to suffer from the same bad writing as Christie, but knocked the material out of the park every chance she got.

I've thought that GH might end up bringing Courtney back from the dead. She is Sonny's sister afterall. I think Christie Clark would be good as Courtney, but I think Erin Hershey Presley (ex-Allison, PORT CHARLES) is the best choice. Clark would be good as Sarah Webber. I'd rather she'd be Sarah.

I think Alison got better over time with her acting, Christie just seems to have gotten worse imo.

Alright then. I just find it funny when you said Ali is in your opinion the best daytime actess in her age group. It's not that I don't love Ali, because I do. But I don't think she's the best in her age group.

One thing MMT did well on GH was the writing for women, Guza still has no idea of how to write for strong female characters.

Maybe the "Courtney" script is being used for another character. Courtney is DEAD dead.

I'm thinking a SORASed Serena Baldwin, since Scott is coming back.

Christie has the right look (from predecessor Carly Schroeder).

Most of the people at Days love Christie and are seeing her as one of the best actrices on Days of our Lives.

In my opinion she is one of the best with good material. And a lot of people think so too, (she almost got the part of Victoria on YR) I hope she does well on GH

I DON'T want Christie going over to GH. She deserves better. With that said, I could TOTALLY see GH going after her.
