AW Fans: What If Robin Strasser remained on Another World as Rachel

Do you think Robin Strasser could have played the redeemed Rachel Cory with a family to look after and a business to run? I think Robin was still in the role she would have been very controlling and ruthless, running Matt, Amanda, Jamie, Paulina, and Sandy's lives. She would have really gave Iris (both Beverlee and Carmen) a run for her money.

I love Robin Strasser but no she could not have played the redeemed Rachel as well as Victoria Wyndham did. Robin is a great actress, and is very effective as a b i t c h, but she is limited as a heroine. She tried to play Christina Karras on AMC a little bit like a heroine at first (if I remember correctly) and it just didn't work. Robin is able to play vulnerable enough to make her villainesses emote sympathy, but not enough to be the heroine.
