Wow, well this should be interesting. I'm hating the Fox fakes an illness to hold onto Kay thing. Mark Wystrach is okay as an actor but I'm not buying him as this evil mastermind after seeing his hapless Fox for months now.

McKenzie will do good with this but it is somewhat character destruction.

I find Sheridan's metamorphosis quite believable due to the following reasons:

To me, the reconciliation-type scenes between Luis and Sheridan clearly set up how much LUIS was the one desperately investing all of his energy and love into the relationship. Those scenes of them together showed how Sheridan continuously chooses other people over Luis. It would have been too sudden and unbelievable for Luis to return from Rome and immediately fall in love with Fancy. No, I have to give kudos for JER for building it up a good amount. Slowly but surely, we saw Luis trying to move on but still clinging to his past with Sheridan. JER spent 7 years building up this great love. The reconciliation scenes - they must have had at least 10 goodbye scenes over the past 7 months - one by one felt more like 'closure' to me, at least on Luis' side. (*Though, if the show is cancelled soon, then I do think JER may change his mind for sentimentality and payoff.)

A countless number of times, Sheridan would dangle her love in front of Luis like a carrot that he could not reach. Sheridan's been manipulating Luis since he returned to Harmony. Fancy called her out on it when she confronted Sheridan and Katherine at the cottage. Sheridan intentionally would find excuses to be around Luis, such as going to the police station a lot to *creepily* stare at Luis and Fancy. Plus, Sheridan's jealousy has been building. She pretended to be fine with Fancy and Luis but only because she thought that Luis would never fall in love with Fancy. Sheridan told Paloma last week that she was in shock because she always thought Luis would be there waiting for her, regardless of the fact that she's married and has told him to move on with his life.

I think JER waited for McKenzie to return to start showing Sheridan's emerging bad traits even more. She blamed Luis, accused him of not loving her, said that he was just like Alistair, and then she slapped him. What triggered such a response? Not just Luis being suspicious. No, she was pissed at Luis because Phyllis had told her that she had seen Luis in Fancy's bed. Plus, the porn film the previous night was fresh in Sheridan's mind.

Then, Sheridan did not care at all when Fancy went missing. She took a freaking bubble bath and asked Chris to join her so that they could have sex. I knew for sure that character was going to get worse after watching Sheridan drug Luis for his 'own good.' Sheridan was jealous because Luis cared so much about Fancy and did not want him to search for her (which I think is MUCH worse than sending a photo to the tabloid, even though it may have been her subsconscious). Then, the real kick in the teeth was when Luis acknowledged that he and Fancy had the cosmic connection that he and Sheridan have/had.

Once he jumped into the mineshaft to save Fancy's life (notice once again that Sheridan cared way more about Luis' well-being than Fancy's), Sheridan realized that Luis was in love with Fancy.

Eve's statements over the past few days were foreshadowing. The Crane genes, for some reason, prevent them from letting go of a lover if they don't want the person to leave them. They lash out and hurt their lovers like Alistair did to Rachel and Katherine. Plus, Eve pointed out to Sheridan that Sheridan's bottled up for feelings for so long that they are bound to explode one day. Sheridan's never been that stable, but now the cracks are really showing.

Sheridan is selfish. She wants to have James (and Chris) as a package deal, but she does not want Luis truly falling in love and being with anyone else. Sheridan is acting worse than Julian and Fox because at least they have tried fighting for their loves to choose them so they could get married. Sheridan rejects Luis so many times, but she's too selfish to let him move on with his life.

Sheridan does hate Luis somewhat for Marty being dead and wants him to suffer - seeing him so happy while she is miserable makes Sheridan angry.

To top it off, the writers could and should point out how Alistair loved Fancy so much more than he did Sheridan. I'm sure Sheridan must have felt awful that Alistair loved Fancy and hated her. Fancy's always had everything handed to her easily; she's never suffered like Sheridan has.

First, Fancy 'steals' Alistair's love from Sheridan, now she's 'stealing' Luis' love.

Overall, the progression of Sheridan's evil side makes sense to me. Two of her children died within two days, her husband is shady and she's not in love with him, and her 'soulmate's' moving on with his life with her neice, the neice who always gets what she wants. When Beth and Alistair were around, Sheridan was the living constant victim. They are 'dead' now, but their actions have impacted Sheridan's life so much. A person's true character emerges when he or she has to make his or her own choices. Sheridan's making the choice to remain with Chris and to keep Luis dangling. No longer can she and the audience blame her poor choices on Alistair and Beth. Sheridan's trying to blame Luis now, but even she knows deep down that it's not his fault. Luis' love has been Sheridan's constant over the past 6.5 years, but now she feels it faltering. Sheridan refuses to let go, so...

Like Eve said yesterday, "Heaven help Luis and Fancy if Sheridan loses Chris and James." Sheridan's evil will go into overdrive then because her anger will be at the boiling point.

As a Sheridan fan, this makes me sick as I see character destruction written all over it. How long before Sheridan throws Fancy in a pit? JER is nothing but dependable to destroy characters for his triangles when at least one character in a triangle has to be a victim of his destruction. Luckily I won't be watching the destruction of Sheridan since I no longer watch Passions, and things like this are the very reason why.

MW has been very good since return and while there are reasons for Sheridan to go bad, I just think it is too extreme too fast. It makes somewhat sense but I just can't see Sheridan becoming this but whatever. Maybe it will help the show. I should be happy since I am a "Lucy" fan so whatever

I will say I miss Kam too.

That's all fine and dandy, but why is this hitting years slash six months later? She's doing it because of jealousy not because of her being kept in a pit in 2003.

Her character has gone nutzo overnight. And there's no reasoning it away.
