If you were to become a Headwriter for any soaps. what storylines would write and what would be your ultimate cast.

How much time do you have?

Lord, I've come up with so many ideas. For GH, I came up with an idea for cast a strong actor to play Dr. Steven Lars Webber who begins a romance with a young nurse named Jessica. Secretly, Jessica is trying to find her late mother's birth mother and has come accross information that her mother might have been born in Port Charles. It would turn out that Jessica's mother is really Nancy Brewer, child of Phil & Jessie Brewer who was thought stillborn, but secretly switched at birth with a dead baby by Phil and then secretly raised in Canada.

AMC:

Well I would first start off by trimming the cast. The following characters are OUT- Johnathan, Erin, Del, Aiden, Shawn, David, Ryan, Zach, Annie, Jamal, and Marian

Then expand it even more, the follwing characters are In- Jake Martin, Greenlee, Opal, Petey, Edmund, Maria, Dimitri, Sam, Maddie, Scott Chandler, Skye CHANDLER, Laura English, Trey, Leo, Vanessa, Janet

How I would bring all the characters back...

Jake- Returns to PV follwing his wife Carolyns death back in Kenya. He figures with nothing left to do in Kenya and enough time having passed that it's time to come home.

Greenlee- After hearing the news of Ryans death she comes back just for the funeral with full intentions to leave when it is over. However a family crisis keeps her in town for a longer stay.

Opal- She's not really back just brought to the front burner more with a rekindled romance and a teenage son to handle. She is also going to be going back to being Erica's "gal pal".

Petey- Again, just brought back out to the front and SORASd to about 16/17ish.

Edmund- SURPRISE! He's not really dead. His death was faked so he could flee the country and go into hiding. Charlotte Devane had escaped from police custody and was plotting out revenge on the Marricks for taking her down all those years ago. Dimitri got word of this and notified his brother, Edmunds shooting, paralysis, and death was all a staged act and part of a plan to get him into hiding. He pushed Maria away to keep her and the kids safe. Now with Charlotte turning up dead and the threat gone Edmund returns to Pine Valley to find life as he left it completely different.

Dimitri- Returns with his brother back to Pine Valley to help him explain what had occurred and why his death was faked.

Maria/Sam/Maddie- Sam and Maddie return to PV to attend PVU, this occurs before Edmunds return. When it is revealed that Edmunds death was staged the kids are furious that their father would abandon them like that. A phone call to California with this news get Maria back to PV ASAP, but Maria brings somebody else home with her.

Scott- He returns home to find his family in a total state of chaos and to be there for Stuart as he greives the loss of Marian. Once the family is back into some kind of order Scott makes it clear that he wants to have a part in Chandler Enterprises, this pleases Adam but angers JR who cannot stand the competition between him and Scott and turns to Palmer to work for him.

Skye- She returns with a new born baby in tow. She has left Port Charles after a falling out with the Quartermaines and to protect her child from Lorenzo's dangerous lifestyle. Shortly after returning to Pine Valley baby Lila comes down with leukimia and needs a bone marrow transplant. Oddly enough Little A's bone marrow is a perfect match and winds up saving Lilas life. This raises some suspision and a DNA test is ordered between Adam and Skye, the final result is Skye is a Chandler.

Laura- Returns to PV after enough time away getting help for her failed marriage to Leo. She has known that Greenlee has been out of town for some time but oddly enough they run into each other at Ryans funeral. Their rivalry is started up again.

Trey- He has been released from prison for some time and was living in London practicing law until one day a wealthy woman came into the practice, she needed legal assistance for her son as he had been arrested for being caught running a scam, sure enough this woman was Vanessa. When Trey discovers that Vanessa and possibly Leo are alive he takes down the information provided to the secretary and goes to contact authorities, just as he is about to do that the line goes dead and Vanessa gives him a stern warning. Afraid,

Trey fleas to Pine Valley and takes up a legal position at Fusion, putting London and the whole Vanessa thing behind him.

Vanessa/Leo- They survived that fall over the waterfall. Leo actually hit his head and needed medical attention, the result of the head trauma was memory loss and regression back to when he and his mother used to run scams in Europe. They were picked up down the river and Vanessa quickly contacted an old friend south of the border who set them up with fake identites and enough cash and they set off for europe. Everything was fine and they were on the run running scams for years until Vanessa unknowingly walked into Treys office one day. She figures that once Trey knows he will tell everyone and take her down, she warns him and has a spy track him. When she find out he went back to PV she packs up and follows him planning to shut him up once and for all.

Janet- She is now perfectly sane, all the time in Oak Haven has helped and she is well just in time to take care of Amanda who is grieving over the loss of her fiance Johnathan.

The Exits....

Johnathan/ Ryan- After the "big event" (read down further for details on that) Ryan and Johnathan are both severly injured, Johnathan more so than Ryan. After the event Johnathan has severe injuries to both his kidneys, Ryan however is more stable and being the super hero of a guy he is donates one of his kidneys to his brother. During the procedure to remove Ryans kidney it is revealed that his injuries were actually worse than originally though and he dies on the operating table. Johnathan receives the kidney transplant and all is well until his body rejects it and the toxins cause his body to go into shock, the result is Johnathan is on life support.

Erin/Jamal- With Johnathan on life support she has a tough decision to make, does she keep her brother living off of machines for the rest of his life or pull the plug and lose her only other living relative. She clashes with Amanda on whether or not to pull the plug and the end result is after a long debate that Johnathan is removed for life support. After making this decision Erin and Jamal take off to work at a battered women shelter in L.A.

Del- Receives a deal with a major publisher and moves to Boston to pursue a writing career.

Aiden- Leaves PV to return to the special ops thing he used to do.

Shawn-Goes away to college, end of story

David- After assisting Marian find Liza and helping Liza cope with her mothers illness and then death, Liza and David have formed a bond. Liza sticks around in PV for a few weeks following her mothers death and her and David grow even closer. When the time comes to Liza to go home both her and David are saddened by this. David then proposes the idea that he leaves PV with her after realizing that there is nothing left here for him and hasnt been for awhile. David and Liza leave PV together.

Zach- When Vanessa returns to town Zach is the first to run into her and recognizes her from his childhood. He vaguely remembers her, all he knows is that she lived in his familys house for a few years then left. Vanessa has no recollection of Zach until it is revealed to her that he is Alexander Cambias Jr. This news makes Vanessa a little uneasy and she rejects all help from Zach. It is later revealed at the big event that Vanessa is actually Zachs mother and that is why Zach recognized her from his childhood. This news comes as a shock to all not only because Vanessa is Zachs mother but because Vanessa is ALIVE, the drug dealing murdering Vanessa is alive! She is the one that hosted the big event to get all of the people of Pine Valley in one place. After this big reveal of her being alive and the news of her being Zachs mother comes out she puts her plan into motion. With a click of a button Vanessa triggers a wave of explosions throughout the Valley Inn demolishing the buidling and injuring and killing those who have crossed her.

Annie- After the truth about Emma is revealed and it is made known that she had a role in stealing Dixie's child she is arrested and charged with kidnapping and a whole bunch of other charges. Dixie is reunited with Kate/Emma and Annie is locked up for 10-15.

Marian- After fighting off a cold for a better part of a year and it still not getting any better Marian decides to go to the doctor to be examined. While at the doctor she is diagnosed with end stage lung cancer and given only 13 weeks to live. She is crushed by this news and does not know how to tell anyone, especially Stuart who has already lost one life to a terminal illness. She decides to try and contact Liza who she has not heard from in a while, she is unable to reach Liza and decides to keep it a secret for the time being as she does not want to burden the family. As a few more weeks go by she notices she is getting progressivly worse and takes a turn for the worst when she develops pericardial effusion, fluid developing around the heart. She collapses while showing a house to someone and is rushed to the ER. David is the one that treats her and has a talk with her and finds out she has not told anyone and doesnt want to until she can contact Liza. This talk that they have touches David and he promises to her he will find Liza. David locates Liza who was off traveling in Morrocco and informs her of her mother condition. Liza rushes back to Pine valley to be by her mothers side and is grateful to David for locating her and telling her. With Liza home the entire Chandler family is informed of the situation and there is some fall out from it being kept a secret. The fights are fought out and it is agreed that it's most important to make Marians final days comfortable for her. Just weeks after, Marian passes.

Relationships/Triangles

Maria/Alan/Edmund/Skye- When Maria returns to PV from California to help her kids deal with the return of their father she brings with her Alan, her fiance that she met while out in California. Edmund doesnt like this at all but Maria reminds him that he faked his death and pushed her away in the process by leaving nothing to her and leaving Brooke in charge of the childrens inheritance. Edmund, Maria, and Alan go back and forth for awhile. Everytime Maria and Edmund get close again Alan gets upset and when Maria runs back Alan it causes tension between her and Edmund. Skye becomes involved when Edmund is interviewing her for a story for Tempo on adoption and families, seeing as Skye has had one crazy quest to discover her parentage. While Skye works with Edmund on the article they grow closer and a relationship develops. For awhile it is Maria/Alan and Skye/Edmund but then when the Vanessa blows up the Valley Inn Edmund is injured and while in the hospital he keeps asking for Maria and not Skye. Edmund suffered a blow to the head from a support beam and does not recall anything from 1997 and after. He doesnt remember losing Maria in the plane crash, finding her, faking his death, nothing. This puts a strain on Marias relationship with Alan because Edmund beleive they are still happily married like they once were. The doctors advise the family that it is best that they play along with what Edmund beleives as it will help his recovery. As Maria plays along with Edmund she realizes that its just like how it used to be before the whole Maureen Gorman thing and she starts to fall for Edmund again. While Alan and Skye are pushed to the sidelines they grow closer. The final result in this "quad" is Maria/Edmund and Skye/Alan.

1) Either age Michael or get rid of him completely!

2) Have Sonny leave the mob but have to go into hiding to protect his family.

3) Bring back Tommy Hardy Jr., Tom Hardy, Rick Webber, Jeff Webber, Sarah Webber, Steven Lars Webber and Heather Webber. Have Tommy Hardy interact with the college gang. Have Mac and Felicia be featured more prominently and have Tom Hardy be a thorn in their side. Have Rick Webber come back and reveal that he never died but it was an imposter hired by Stavros to drive Laura crazy! Have Jeff Webber come back to town with a secret. Eventually he reveals that he has cancer and needs the support of his family to beat it. Have Sarah Webber come back and become an obstable for Patrick and Robin to over come, when she is done with that have her and Jason become friends which causes Elizabeth to get mad and cause tension in her marriage to Lucky who turns to a newly returned Gia, which makes NIkolas mad! Have Steve Lars return to town and have him return to flirting with Carly, which causes Jax to become jealous. Have Heather Webber come back and try and break up Luke and Laura. Have her then move on to trying to build a relationship with newly returned Scotty Baldwin.

4)Bring back Scott Baldwin.

5) Bring back Lucy and Kevin, alond with Kevin's daughter Livvie. Every one will realize the identical look between Sam and Livvie, which will result in them all finding out that Kevin was the man that got Alexis pregnant when she was in school, which resulted in Sam and Livvie being born.

6) Have Lorenzo and Diego leave for Europe.

7) After Jax loses Carly to Steven Lars, have him leave to help Jerry on the run.

8)Have the Quartermains be featured more. Have Edward take back control of ELQ. Then have Tracy fight for Luke, while the newly returned from catatonia Laura gets all of his attention. Have Emily and Nikolas find their way back to each other but not before Stavros, Helena and Stefan return! Have Ned, Lois and Brooke Lynn return to town. Build up Ned and Lois and have them get married in an extravegant wedding only to give them the proper send off. Have Rae Cummings return to town to take up a job at GH but then cause problems between Alan and Monica. Have Dillon deal with Lulu and Georgie not focusing on him any more.

9) Have Ric Lansing leave to help Sonny.
