Two and a Half Men: Discussion Thread

Has he actually been fired? I thought it was still up in the air. Either way, I hope they do fire him. CS belongs on cable. Network TV can't hold him.

Yep he pretty much was, now I've heard he said he didn't have as much money as he thought and he's pretty much begging to come back to his crapfest of a tv show

I'm sick of hearing about him, the media have created a monster.

Charlie Sheen is about to start Tweeting endorsements, and he could earn $1 million per year for his new gig.

Arnie Gullov-Singh, CEO of Ad.ly, the company Sheen sought out for help getting him started on Twitter, said Sheen is likely to beat Kim Kardashian, who is their most prolific celebrity when it comes to earning cash for Tweets and Facebook ads. (Still, Sheen made $1.2 million per episode for Two and a Half Men.)

Ad.ly told The Hollywood Reporter Thursday that Sheen has just become their newest of about 1,000 celebrity partners who can earn from $200 to about $25,000 for a single Tweet.

I guess he does have adonis blood and is a warlock! I had no idea Kim Kardashian makes $10,000 per tweet but that was in today's NY Post. Charlie may not be as crazy as he lets on. Perhaps he just wanted out of his show without being in breach of contract.

it honestly is the only drug i would ever do again, if i were to drugs again.

Coke is overrated.

I think he's a genius, he's BSC but a genius nonetheless.

$1 million per year isn't going to be enough for his extravagances.

I think he just puts a need for attention above anything else, including money it seems.

I've suspected this for awhile now. At first I thought he was completely delusional, but now I think there is method to his madness. Especially after that CNN interview. Don't get me wrong, I get that he's an OOC addict, but I think he knows what he's doing.

I'm interested to see who will hire him to endorse their products via twitter. I'm thinking energy drinks or video games. Either way, they better hurry because I don't believe he can hold people's interest forever.

For sure, but he has to be rolling in dough given his career. he's been working pretty steady for 20 years. Plus, he is going to get another show. There is no doubt in my mind that money comes first in Hollywood and CS has the attention on him right now. As other people have pointed out, CBS didn't fire him even after he was accused of domestic violence. They didn't want to get rid of him even now. Notice they haven't really pulled the trigger. According to that CNN interview they just wanted him to "pull it back and get under the radar".

With the lifestyle he lives, I'm not sure. He also hadn't been in any big shows or films for quite a while before Two and a Half Men.

When it comes to shocking people or making them laugh because of his comments and behavior, but not from any actual work he's doing. I'm not sure if anyone will actually hire him for a major role, and I'm also not sure if his presence would be a big boost to them. It didn't seem to bring in that big of ratings for ABC.

I don't think there's a chance in Hell Sheen, looking and acting the way he is right now, will get a scripted series role. But I'm sure tv companies are thinking up ways to make money off him.

That's what I think too. However, it seems he is still under contract to CBS. If not, I missed it. They haven't really fired him as far I've read. I imagine they could keep him in limbo for awhile if they choose to.

Oh, for God's sake ... !

I wish someone would give that man a sedative! Anything to put him to sleep!

I think his lawyers wish the same. CS tweeted that they want him to stop talking to the media. Guess he's not listening.
