First off this Belle/Phillip twist is just heartbreaking..I thought Kyle did a great job today, and i loved that he mentioned his military career, being held captive, the landmine...I'm so excited to watch this all unfold tommorow..

I love this twist too! It's so sad. Tomorrow's previews look amazing. It looks very emotional. :(

Im just ready for incest to end. All the comments today about family and stuff were just weird to me because it just showed how entwined Chelsea, Max, and Stephanie are. Hogan needs to end it like now.

I'm so jealous. Not only do you guys get Hogan, but you get him right when AMC is at its gutter depths with McTavish at the helm.

I'm happy you all feel rejuvenated -- I just wish I had the same excitement for my top show, too.

WOW-WELCOME HOGAN!!!

Awesome show!!!

The ending was just superb. Finally the SFX worked. I don't like the racing either but at least Days didn't go the chessy route and show us the track during the race. We only got Stephanie and Max in their cars. I loved seeing so many characters there. Victor/Kate was a nice reminder of their secret. I loved seeing the families together and the Billie/Steve thing is working well due to the tension it is causing. I want the incest gone too but I did like the Chelsea/Stephanie scenes due to the references to how they grew up and such. Chelsea looked so much like Billie today and that is usually not the case as she tends to look like Hope most of the time. Abby looked awesome and I loved her finding the note and the glove. It appears the gloved hand has a calling card now besides a note...it's a glove  . Loved seeing the hand again and the ending was awesome!!

Hope/Shawn was great. Days really struk gold with their chemstry. I am loving Brandon as Shawn.

Kyle did good today. The Belle/Philip scenes and references to Philip's war experience and hardships were good. Can't wait for tomarrow here. This is a heartbreaking twist.

Lexie/Abe was awesome. I was not expecting Tek to spill the beans. Can't wait to see Lexie confront Abe.

The Patrick hearing was ok. I liked the Bo/Roman scenes and Bope being pissed about Mimi but I just want Patrick gone. I do love Cameron Reese though.

Great way to start with a bang and tomarrow sounds phenomenal. A new era truly has begun and Hogan has finally arrived :D

Today's show was good. Stephanie is finally starting to get involved with other characters, and I liked how she stood up to Kate. Glad that Tek revealed Abe's deceit to Lexie, only because we're getting some movement on this story. Loved Hope and Shawn today---Kristian and Brandon look so much alike it's wonderful to see them play off each other. They are really believable as mother and son.

I can't wait to see how all this drama plays out tomorrow!

And that's why I feel your pain. I know how it is when a show you grew up on is going through troubled times. But, keep the faith. When ABCD sees the ratings continue to slide, changes will be made.

Until then.....join us as Days fans. We're a passionate bunch, but only becuase we love our show. My sincerest wish is that the entire daytime drama format can rise to the level of where Days is right now, at the same time. It would be a benifit to all soap opera fans.

I loved everything except the racing stuff. I just can't get behind it!

I couldn't get it behind it either. Why? Well, um, if you're THAT closely connected to the race, WHY THE H E L L would you sit and watch it on a flat screen in a club house? Go to the freaking track, you idiots!!! My God, I was LIVID when I saw them watching from that room. I don't care how nice the TVs were or what kinds of snacks were in that room. They SHOULD have been in the stands watching as REAL spectactors.

And I can't wait to see Abe FIRE Tek's pathetic ass. Is this NOT obstruction of justice if that was to be a top secret mission and obviously Abe's undercover gig WON'T work now because of Idiot Tek?!!! MY GOD, I hate that man!!

Are we sure they all weren't watching through a large window rather then a TV? I mean it was a private box so I would think they weren't just watching on TV. Every race track, both horse and car, I have ever been too has had a box where owners, family, etc can sit and watch the race from rather then sit with the general public. I am sure that is what it was.

I like the fact Days played it the way it did. It was less cheesy that way IMO.

I HAD hoped it was a private box overlooking the track, Pheo. Unfortunately, the TVs in the same room gave me a HORRIBLE feeling that it wasn't. Honestly, there'd be no reason for TVs had it been. Loved the show except for that one, GLARING element.

She wanted to finish school.

Sweet - thanks for being the only one to answer my question! haha

Well, actually, those monitors could very well have been so that box spectators had the ability to view the race from different angles and perspectives as well as being able to watch televised coverage of the race.

was very happy to see the name change yesterday when I watched this, though I thought the episode was rather uneventfull.

However ... I will not be happy till that bastard's name is removed as Consulting Producer!
