ITA, CSW. The price is key here. Didn't Sorking get paid multi-million dollars JUST to write the pilot?

It's a great show. It's a quality drama. And I am pissed, but I am not sure it's going to last.

However, they did get second place for the timeslot, right? That's kind of good. NBC has gotten a lot worse especially LATELY.

Saw episode 2 tonight (we get the show on Sundays in Canada :D).

After watching this episode, I have to say that I like everyone! LOL Every character is just top notch.

I didn't even recognize Ayda Fields who played Angela Moroni on DAYS. I guess she's changed a lot since I last saw her in 2001.

And the Cold Open at the end of the episode -

Won't go into details until it airs on NBC. :)

Ayda Fields was good if who I think she was she actually *was*. Toups, she was the female cast member who spent the night with Matt, right?

I thought the show was good but I wasn't blown away. The cast is great, but it is really missing something i can't put my finger on.

Emmy-worthy as ANGELA MORONI!?!?!?!?! MITCH!!!! She was HORRENDOUS! Haha. Her dying scenes were hilarious. IMO, of course.

Can't wait for this. This show gets me excited for primetime t.v. and NBC again. It's also inspired me to watch WEST WING, which I have never, ever watched an episode of before this past week. I got the DVD's.

Yes, I'm watching it again. LOL

Matt: "Was she calling us Hollywood liberals, or was she calling us gay?"

Danny: "It’s a fine distinction."

------------------------------------------

Reporter: "Were you aware of Danny's drug problem?"

Jordan: "I can't recall, I was high when he told me."

And Amanda Peet looks really gorgeous in this episode.

    • I don’t recall MSW having a toy line in the late 80’s or early 90’s like all those Saturday morning cartoons did LOL but thought this was cute when I saw it in a vintage toy store yesterday:

    • Copying and pasting pasting this here as to not to derail the KL thread lol Wow I forgot CBS actually did try multiple attempts to come up with a soapy replacement for Knots on Thursday nights in the 10/9 slots for the 93-94 season.   Angel Falls had promise but CBS didn’t give it a fair chance. Latham’s Second Chances got even worse ratings than Angel Falls and wasn’t given a second chance when the Northridge quake destroyed the show’s sets. One West Waikiki looked gorgeous but was a blink you missed it affair. Finally we got Hotel Malibu, a quasi follow-up to Second Chances that stayed as the summer replacement series it was. CBS switched gears and had Chicago Hope air in the slot…against ER. It made the Top 30 but obviously underperformed below expectations. CBS gave up, and gave us 48 Hours for years there. It wasn’t until the 2002-03 season when CBS finally produced a Top 20 show for that spot with Without A Trace against an aging ER.
    • Of course I join in on wishing that Peacock & Corday & Sony would all together come to the conclusion that NOW would be a fine time to put some of these gems in the archive on full display!!! But, at the same time I'd like to give kudos to the fact that behind the scenes they've been doing the great work of preservation by taking tapes, etc. & converting them to modern digital formats. Besides the important fact of preserving them it means they are ready to go!

    • Bill and Hayley’s living room set should be redressed as their bedroom. We’ve not seen their gorgeous circular entry way set since the first week? Why not utilise that more and build them a living room off those double doors? The hotel room also doesn’t have a bed? Does only Dani have a bedroom?
