Members sheilaforever
Depending on the numbers behind the dot, GL COULD overtake or at least tie with AMC... Let's keep our fingers crossed. EDIT: WOW, it happened. The day belongs to CBS, baby...
Members Steve
Wow, AMC is tied with GL!!!!!! If this isn't a sign to Frons and his bosses that changes are needed, I don't know what would be. Go GL, overtake AMC & OLTL next week! What is taking ABC so long to announce the new AMC headwriter anyway?

Members Manny
Wow, CBS has top 3 spots... Gh has +0,2, which has been a while since one soap had +.2! AMC & GL tied and PASS keeps falling! Wow, 1,4! When SuBe had 1,4 it was already announced that it has been cancelled! The same thing with PC, I believe... Members Darcy
AMC has had trouble with Thursday's in the past. Last week, Thursday's show was mainly dedicated to Colby and Sydney preparing for and screeching/fighting over their party - need I say more? Members cal3
I wonder if ABCD's Friday numbers benefited from the soaps that did not air? If so then that reflects even worse on ABCD. What is it going to take to get rid of Frons and his flunkies?
Members Angela
The better question would be: What has happened to AMC, period? Yeah as Darcy said Thursday's reguarly aren't good for AMC, and well 7 of the 9 soaps dipped this Thursday (and all of them dipped last Thursday, I believe)...and all the storyline directions generally suck at the moment on AMC (off-putting to the audience), thus not getting anything higher than a 2.4 and thus GL getting it's tie. I'd guess they definitely helped a little, and yeah that reflects badly for particuarly AMC who might have gotten completely beaten by GL otherwise. Credit to GH though, +.2 for the week without a Friday bounce.
Members Matt
IMO, this is the right time for GL to overhaul itself creatively. If the show could get on a little more even keel creatively, the show could very well regain some lapsed viewers and push itself up into the middle of the pack of the ratings. Members SteveFrame
Wow Days can be thankful that Monday didn't count. That was the one of the last 2 days I watched the show, and it was great on Monday. But they did get lucky that the day didn't count, because they would have dropped to 2.5 for the week. And that would have been bad because they would have been under GH, and down at #5. As bad as people say that AMC is right now, I can't believe that OLTL beat it this week. I tried to watch some of OLTL last week and I know how bad it was. I cannot say how happy I am over ATWT. Keep it up. The show has been so good and just keeps getting better. Way to go for #3. Members KBT
Steve, every soap would have had a bad day if it was counted on Monday, not just DAYS. Look at the repeat eppy numbers and look at PSNS and DAYS numbers for Monday, obviously way down. I am disappointed DAYS didnt budge any, hopefully the demos are decent. Members SteveFrame
If the whole week had counted, this is what the picture would have been: 1) Y&R 4.2 2) B&B 3.2 3) ATWT 2.7 4) GH 2.6 5) Days 2.5 6) GL 2.3 6) OLTL 2.3 8) AMC 2.2 9) Passions 1.4 That is weird. I know Kirk. Look at my other post. Things would have looked really different this week. It would have been really good for GL, but even worse for AMC. As far as Days ratings. This was their worst week overall in awhile. They didn't 2.8 at all, and they have been hitting that at least 1 day each week for the last 6 weeks or so. So even without Monday the rest of the week hurt. I was just disappointed about Monday because the show was so good that day.
Members Ms. Walsh
Okay, so only 3 days were counted, so it's not really fair to celebrate, but I will anyway: Woo-hoo ATWT!!! The show deserves to be #2 IMO b/c it's really consistent, like Y&R, and B&B just sucks now. And WTG GL for tying w/ AMC. (Hey, it's a long time overdue)
