So while I detest Bloomberg, at times like this it's nice having the 8th richest man in the world on your side.

There is a lot of Bernie's platform I agree with(not abolishing all student debt) but he's not the right messenger. Whenever I hear Bernie supporters spout Bernie is just pushing FDR policies, I laugh. If FDR were alive today they would call him a sellout. He got tons done but he also did not push to abolish lynching, threw the Japanese Americans into camps out of fear, tried to stack the Supreme Court. He was an expert politician and came out of the NY Democratic Political machine. For that reason in itself they would hate him. LBJ was an SOB but an incredibly savvy politician. The lefties today would equate him to Mitch McConnell. They have no idea how to build coalitions, win, or how to enact legislation.

This is spiraling out of control. Forget the economy which is going to crash massively, massive numbers of people are going to die, And who's in charge. A dementia laden psychopath and his surrogate son, Jared Von Frankenstein

My mom lives in a retirement community and they are restricting access to their building. No people under 18, no visitors outside of mandatory visitation. My brother was planning to visit over the weekend, I told him not to bother. And disinfection in the dining area between seating times.

Media? This is what our health professionals and the lead doctor from the NiH is saying. Italy was where we are now 3 weeks ago. You science deniers need to sit this one out. You folks are the ones who put the rest of us in danger. Keep going with the crowds and stay the heck away from my state. Tell your aunt, who I assume is over 60, the same.

Lord I hope the number of recoveries is higher than that. I'm pretty sure it is based on the death tolls we have seen so far. You realize with those numbers your stating the death toll would be close to 50%

That white woman number against Clinton/For Biden is infuriating. AOC seems to be realizing moderation is needed. She needs to talk to the 3 other members of the squad or maybe 2. Ayanna Pressley was Team Warren. Michael Moore has been an opportunistic grifting *sshole for years. Whenever I hear him chastise the situation in Flint(and it is frankly monstrous) I keep thinking what has he done. He could do a film and raise money and awareness nationwide. Yet NADA.

That's why that Clyburn comment by Bernie was so offensive. I am not African American so maybe it's not up to me to say, but Bernie's comment about why he didn't talk to Clyburn was so offensive. That told me he hasn't done squat in the past 4 years to even try to build up any goodwill, the bare minimum. I have no idea what kind of lala-land his campaign staff life.

So Steve Bullock is running for the senate in Montana. A huge boost and another senate seat realistically in play. https://stevebullock.com/

I will give Sanders credit for building some outreach to the Latino community but this is shameful. He's know for 4 years he needed to do more work in the AA community and has done absolutely nothing. He still doesn't realize he cannot and will not win without them. He could have worked to help champion a solution in Flint. The might have gone a long way to establish some level of interest in the community. Skipping Mississippi does not sound like a good plan either. I have been volunteering on Marie Newman's primary campaign here in Illinois(no she is not a diehard bernie-ite despite his endorsement. Dan Lipinkski is and has been a useless "democratic" congressman for years), and she has a great staff working for her, 2 younger staffers who I have come to know quite well. 1 AA young man and 1 young Latina. 2 of the most idealistic dedicated people I have seen. They were so excited after Bernie's win and so deflated after super Tuesday. These are good people and it just breaks my heart to see so many of these folks used by Sanders, who doesn't really care if he wins or loses.

I have no reason to doubt Jackson. I don't know how much influence he has anymore but this was a mistake by Biden's team if they did not. And to be honest, anyone remembering Jackson's run in 1988 knows he's much closer to Sanders on policy. Big difference. Jackson proudly ran as a democrat and won a ton of delegates - including the state of Michigan by the way.

Bernie just like Trump in that respect. Projection. He still hasn't released his medical records.

No Sanders is not done. In fact when California comes in he will probably have a slight lead. But it's far shy than what was expected and predicted. These people live in their "fake news" world. Those of us in the real world know how hard Obama worked to try and restore credibility after the Iraq War. He did as much as he could. We know Clinton is well liked. Pelosi I have no idea, I will take your word for it. Trump is popular in Israel, Saudi Arabia, Russia, and North Korea.

The only person since Ronald Reagan that had a multi generational, multi color coalition was Barack Obama. Obama won both times with a majority of the vote without needing the Supreme Court or Russia to throw elections his way

Joe Biden wins Minnesota. Even with early voting. Where are those working class people Sanders claimed were showing up in the rust belt and Midwest. You know what. Even with the lengthy painful primary season, people love a comeback story. Bill Clinton anyone? (no Biden is no Bill Clinton)

Looks like again if tonight Bidens campaign takes the full turn around, we again have AA voters to thank for it. Or as the Sanders camp refers to AA voters, the elites. I'm still wary about him but even moreso about Bernie. Please lets hope this is the end for Bloomberg also. I think people also need to understand Sanders has pushed the party left, which we needed. How Biden is talking about improving the ACA is a far step from what was even originally proposed early in Obama's presidency.

People in this country and the term socialism here is crazy. Now I am not comparing Bernie Sanders to Franklin Delano Roosevelt at all(Roosevelt was a savvy democratic politician and was a member of the machine in NY. He also served as Governor in the state before he ran for president, handling statewide problems and helping his citizens through the onslaught of the great depression). But his supporters love to compare him to FDR, which is laughable. What I will say about Sanders is that he has proposals that other more liberal presidents did including FDR and LBJ(LBJ was also a VERY SAVVY politician). Medicare is our healthcare insurance program for seniors and people with disabilities. It was always intended to be expanded to a nationwide program for all, when implemented but it is not socialized. The doctors and healthcare providers and services are all still private. Medicare is managed by the federal government, like an insurance company and negotiates directly with doctors and providers on services and their costs. Most doctors and providers accept Medicare patients but not all. But it's not socialized medicine. I actually have no objection to expanding medicare but there are other approaches to do it others have proposed that don't kick people immediately off their own private healthcare insurance that some may actually like. But before the ACA(OBAMACARE) insurance companies were allowed to deny people like me coverage - I am a breast cancer survivor simply for the fact that I had a major illness years ago. One of many problems with our private healthcare insurance plans pre ACA. And just to be clear there are still problems with the ACA that could have been fine tuned had one political party not been actively trying to undermine it and invalidate it since it was passed into law.
