Episode 2, When Villain Meets Vixen, who is this about? Mark Pinter's McColl character may be getting married? Lisa as a brunette talking to some men, Not Meg Ryan, but a Betsy & Margaret Reed are talking at the side of this room ... 3. Episode 4, Humiliation, who is this about? As it opens I see Real Connor & then the Kasnoff brother that is with her, comes in. Connor was praying that Cal be able to walk again. Is that Samantha & is she blind? Is that Shawn Christian & the first Rosanna? In formal wear, Lucinda, Lisa, all of a sudden John Dixon up on an enormous screen ...

Some fans have said they've seen pictures from next week & someone's having sex. Lucky & Liz? Sexy Dexy & Joss? Who else could it be? How mad is Brennan going to be at Carly?

Crossed a line & a line that should never have been crossed. Alexis needs to let Kristina have it, verbally, although even if she could work up to it & say it, just blast her, Kristina would just go to Sonny, which may be what we saw in the end of show preview of next day. Yeah, that's the only way Kristina & Sonny can get their vengeance against Ava. Agreed. That "story" where Tracy convinced Lois to "talk right" wasn't really a story at all, just one huge waste of time. The writers have no business writing things that lame. At least it's over. Fans had said that Josh said in an interview that they taped Thanksgiving scenes. If so, where the heck were they?

LOL, I don't think so, although liking Brad does probably qualify as a "minority" position, but don't worry about it, most of us inhabit those "minority" positions at one point or another! I certainly have. About Kate Mansi & Kristina, I feel sure she is delivering exactly what Frank wants. And, he's not done, doing whatever to the character. He's seemingly going to push Kristina all the way to the edge AND then over the cliff.

Yeah, this is it. You've hit on it, exactly. When Kin plays it straight, we can see & like or dislike Scott, but when he is far less than serious, it's like he's trying to be cute, but like Violet, it's an epic failure.

I was in a podcast where they said the show has tried to book some dates with Kin but he is declining each offer. I had previously posted this as a spoiler, but some time has passed now & I don't think it gives anything away. (Suds & Squared Media) Wait, are you imagining here, that Jane Elliot should be forced to keep a straight face while being romanced by Scotty Baldwyn?!! I find that a very amusing idea. I was one of many at that time who was waiting for a Purge, one that never came. At the drop of a hat, I could have cut 15 people without breaking a sweat.

We know from other writers who worked with him that he was capable of doing everything a soap writer should be able to do. When he was HW, though, unless there was some guiding influence, he didn't necessarily "follow the rules". He did not respect time, history, characterization, no, you are correct that he placed plot above all else.

I love the Davis women, in general. Specifically, Kristina, then Molly & then Alexis, although I think I actually prefer Natasha, who we don't see much any more. As far as Natalia goes, I think you & Sonny agree. And, it's nice for her to have a fan.

They're not going to give up on trying to get us to change our opinions, feelings, etc. about Natalia. [sigh] When they dig in like this on a character, I become increasingly annoyed. And, Kristina is just letting herself be in denial because Ali told her flat-out that she was NOT prepared for them to be parents yet AT ALL. Drove me crazy. But, then, Curtis often does. And his relationship with Jordan is inappropriate. Why wasn't he having that conversation with his wife, Portia?!! But, about the Gio retcon, I'm actually looking forward to it. It could possibly put so many different combinations of people in soapy messy angst. I don't think anyone knows who Gio's bio-parents were except for Lois.

I'm doing a rewatch & I began in 1991 & I'm early in 1992 now & I have yet to see this bad writing, him being a jerk, or worse, although I have been warned I will run into it, sooner instead of later. I just mention it because whatever was going on I don't think it began immediately as soon as he returned. In terms of resolving the story of Marlena loving 2 different men, perhaps it was simplistic of me, but I just thought that a decision was made that Marlena was going to sin & get knocked off the pedestal she was in, inviting evil into her life, with John & Marlena being end game & to make that happen they felt they had to damage the RoMar iconic relationship & they did that by working on both characters, Marlena & Roman. Do most people think JER really did not like the character of Roman Brady? Reilly was clear in who he wanted to write for & who he did not. Many writers are 'guilty' of that I believe. Hmm, I don't think 'rare' would be accurate. JMO.
