A really great DAYS episode. The Horton ornaments is always so special. I was glad that JJ asked Doug3 to explain about his being in jail. I don't know if I believe the tale he told. Wasn't it funny that Julie overheard part of his phone call to Leo. Now she knows he is needing money. I thought Holly & Tate were good today. Yes, I know Tate lied. But, I suppose it couldn't be helped. Tate & Sophia are going to be bound together by this. It may affect a lot of things. But at least Holly had a good birthday celebration. People who have their birthday around a holiday get cheated. But Tate prevented that from happening. I laughed about Uncle Roman. But, Merry Christmas & good will to all men, and also women.

It should spread things around.

I still don't think GH is in imminent danger of cancelation. The thing I find infuriating about GH is that it has the potential to be great & it's not, it's just good. Sure that's better than being bad. But it's not good enough. And, there's not really a good excuse for it being just good, but not great & actually not good enough. And, the why is all on its leadership & their decisions. And, of course, GH's situation could change drastically when they have head to head competition in their timeslot. Then, they could suddenly become in danger of being canned. They need to begin trying to step up their game, NOW. But, will they? No.

To me, the 3 actresses who played Nicole, along with fairly different writing with each iteration, it was if they were 3 different characters. And, with Anne Howard's Nicole, I didn't even really buy her relationship with Cass. With Kathleen, first time, that was the real deal. Then, later with Frankie, I had to figure out if I could let her be as important to Cass as Kathleen had been. Ultimately, I decided YES. Then at the end I had to decide again, but Lila didn't work for me, not with Cass, anyway. With Matt, yes, sure. I suspect this is weird. But, it is the way I am about Cass & romance.

I cannot tell if they just want to talk about him or if they intend bringing him on! You saw that triangle, did you? Me, too. I mean I'm all in for L&L2 but Ric makes it obvious he wants in, too. Also though Ric could be a pairing with Ava, ship name: Avarice, meaning greed! And, Ric could also pair with Alexis, but I'm thinking NLG would squash that like a bug.

Honestly I believe Blaze will return. Just not yet. It's gonna be awhile. Nothing wrong with the minority! If you liked him, good for you! It's not like he wasn't worthy. And, yes, that damned Hook ruined lots of things.

Rory was a cipher, an attractive one but a placeholder nonetheless. Also Rory was boring. Not his fault, he was just written that way. No one missed him, not even one day after he was dead. Did he even have a last name?

I'm sorry but Donna is too good for the likes of them. I mean Wiley & Scout. James, of course is the best child on the show. I think this prediction of yours about Avery is one that is not gonna come true. Avery is going to continue to be the chess piece that Ava & Sonny make war about.

Those of us who want Blaze are few & far between. But at least we do exist.

Of course on DAYS Bill Bell years, the most famous secret was Mike's paternity. The audience knew, Bill knew, Laura knew, Tom knew, Kitty found out & tried to blackmail Bill. In show time it was only 8 years but because of SORAS it was much longer. The crux of the matter was that Mickey was sterile. So when it finally came out, he was devastated. So much so that he blamed his brother & shot him. Then he kinda lost his mind & forgot who & what he was. Poor Mickey. He wandered off. His belt buckle said MH. So he went by Marty Hanson. He met Maggie & went to work for her on her farm. Bill Bell was a genius, maybe an evil genius. Pat Falken Smith told him it would never work, there was no way Laura would fall for Bill, not be in love with her rapist. He said just you wait & see. Bill & Laura fell in love, married, even had a second child, Jennifer Rose.

I enjoyed Hilary Edson in GL, AW & GH. Lucky for me!

'92 had that primetime "special event" ONE STORMY NIGHT. I thought it was interesting.
