She could have done without the Viagra mention - I don't think that was necessary - but I did love the fact that Tracy was shown so much when none of the other partners were shown at all. I seriously can't wait for Luke to be back. Tracy on her own is fine but the LuNacy dynamic really adds to her preformance. With this bit about Edward's heart attack happening, Luke should be back in time to support her I hope.

Sorry to leave you hanging - you're not the only one around here. Tracy was on. Basically she's still not buying that Ethan is now on the up and up, but on the Dante/Lulu thing she told Ethan they are on the same team. Tracy knows Dante/Dom is working for Sonny and doesn't want Lulu anywhere around it. Lulu was mad at Ethan for telling on Becks and for setting Dom/Dante up on a poker game. And you folks are going to scream, but she needs a haircut!

It's not that they don't scoop TG's return storylines correctly, it that they don't scoop them correctly very far in advance. We also don't know who's working from what 'insider' information. The bit about Luke escaping and no one believing him has been around for awhile, but I think however the return it's going to be with some fanfare. I'm looking forward to getting the Spencer/LuNacy story going again. We're less than a month out now. And perhaps it's the craziness in my life, but somehow this summer went by in a snap.

Was she on? I think you're right, Lainey. JE sparkles best with TG and the rest just can't match. I wonder if that's the reason she re-signed for this current contract where she's never done that before - what a way to end a soap career with the person she's adored and wanted as an acting partner from the beginning. Got outside for the first time today after breaking my toe and OWWW!!! I don't like this pain. I'll even take sharp breath-stealing pain over that long, sustained ache. I'm going out with a friend tonight for Martinis so hopefully that will mix nicely with my Advil. Nothing new on the personal front - it's going to be a year at least until I can properly file papers because our combined debt has to be dealt with (neither of us can dump that on the other), so Mike has asked for that year to prove he can be the husband I want/need. If he doesn't succeed than he'll be the first to sign on the line he says. I've got four good reasons to give him this opportunity, so with everything in my life it seems it's Hurry-up-and-wait.

LOL.... I might not be recapping like I used to, but I do have this site up on my tabs and check is regularly so yes, someone is reading your posts, Hooked. I was the same way when you were away - often a conversation of one. I also think that my earlier theory that JE took her vacation early is spot on because this is usually the time she's absent from our screens and she's around with more substance. The stuff in July could easily have been pre-taped since there was so little. I also read (not sure if you brought it here or if it was still on SD) that one of the reasons the murder mystery didn't get as much focus is that Martha B had other scheduling issues that took away from that story, so it is likely that it was MB and not Guza who was ultimately responsible for no Andrea/Tracy interaction. Regardless, the fall is quickly approaching and TG will be back on our screens soon which means regular Tracy again. I wouldn't be surprised at her involvement at the Carnival at all considering she after TG's Luke, is the vet most used. Perhaps that's not saying much in one way, but it says a lot in another. Tracy also has a more unconventional side, so I can see her struggling to contain her inner desire to be on a Ferris Wheel. As with all things we'll have to see, of course, but this is the first time in ages Tracy is actually in spoilers so I do believe our Summer Break is coming to an end. Someone let me know if she's on today SVP. #3 has a Dentist appointment and I'm venturing outside for the first time since I broke my toe.

I'm not even getting to watch the show in real time - I've been depending on YT and I have to find that streaming website you mentioned, Hooked. I'll see if it works for me too. Seriously, I'm going to have to beg off. A lot of family stuff has been happening and last night I told Mike I was getting a divorce. I've been on the phone all day with friends, insurance people, lawfirms, etc. I'm still part of the LuNacy family but I'm distracted right now. But I will have you know that I'm good - relieved actually. And the oldest two kids are very supportive of this (the younger ones don't know what's going on). Hopefully it will be no-contest and amicable but it's not going to be over in a day so my attention has to be there to make sure I don't miss anything. Last night was the best night's sleep I've gotten in ages.

Quiet isn't always a bad thing. I'm alternating keeping my broken toe resting (which hurts my back) or moving around to make my back feel better (which causes me pain in my foot). Our long-shot hopes that Jane Elliot was to present at the Emmy's is officially dashed. The presenters will be TG/BA/KS the Emmy nominees themselves (although a surprise is never fully out of the question until it actually happens). Interesting list actually. B&B and GL have their vets but everyone else is except SL from AMC, are younger actors who's stories the shows are pushing. Even the much lauded knows-how-to-use-their-vets Y&R is using young'uns. The only shows with odd numbers are GH and AMC each with three, so I'm thinking TG and SL will present together - probably the Daytime Gives Back stuff. So there you have it!

Jeepers, I keep missing Tracy-days. I was on the phone with a very dear friend and didn't even think that she would be on. The Haunted Star and everything, and she does look good. Ethan even sarcastically asked if he could call her "Step-Mom". I really do love those two together. Over a few scenes she tries to get the truth about Rebecca out of Ethan, who tells her she has nothing to worry about because Rebecca has "Sunk her teeth into a much bigger prey". Tracy also saw Ethan come to the mansion the other night to speak with Rebecca, so again not much is lost on our girl even if we can't see her. Other stories... Dante/Dominic gets himself free (the rumour of Mac/PCPD trying to use Dante was completely inaccurate) Olivia freaks about Dante's arrest and then later tells him to leave town for good Michael/Kristina get out of Jerry's apartment and hit the road again Jason is crushed under the collapse and Jerry goads him about Claudia/Michael and Sam Spixie's marriage planning with Lulu and Maxie is freaking out about the whole thing (kinda funny actually) Necca go home to Wyndamere and start getting really friendly after a night of gambling at the HS Ethan calls Lucky to tell him the whole truth - the only new tidbit is that Ethan/Becks spent a few months in Manhattan getting their stories straight, and that Luke was never Ethan's target Pretty good show, actually.

Hee, hee, hee.... love it. You knew Monica would be the most understand of this lot. Edward next. Alice conflicted. And Tracy looks pretty amused. AND that's yet another new outfit for her - at least this one looks a little more appropriate to the season (though the humidity around the lake would kill her outside of A/C). That's just so Tracy - Martini and watching the victim die in their own web!

Jane does seem to be the Grande Dame of Daytime. It wasn't lost on me that TG's reference to her got more applause then he did for winning the Emmy last year. Okay... Wow MJ, that is too cool! So basically your bones have braces! Modern medicine sometimes really impresses me. Star's little Colin wouldn't be around without the amazing things they are able to do for him, and I had no idea someone could have a sternum and spine so close together. The Diva has returned home so we are a full house again. I broke my toe on Wednesday and it was almost pain-free, but in his excitement over his sister's return Rusty JUMPED ON MY FOOT!!!! Pain... There's more drama backstage than on camera - and considering all of these people put on a show for their bread and butter it's very hard to tell what's the act and what's real. Many have thought they could get "bigger and better" than daytime and they've fallen on their over-rated faces. Others really have made it to the big time and graciously acknowledge that without their soap it wouldn't have happened. It's dog-eat-dog and I thank heavens that no one I know personally is in that industry. The one good thing - this KeMo story has knocked all the other gossip/rumours/inside stories off the table. People like nothing better than to see the mighty fall and on this one some nasty stuff about KeMo is being said. It's all ridiculous and none of us will ever have the whole story. But I think JaSam and LuSam as we have known it are in the annals of history now.

You beat me to the drop. We now have a date and a place, and nothing so far is contradicting itself. TG said he was excited about the story so I'm going to wait to see how it all plays out. I'm sure JE will be happy to have him home - last year the day before he returned to screen JE was practically giddy and all the protestations as Tracy couldn't hide it. As for KeMo it's still only gossip without GV even having any information that he could share. She's not the first who's been rumoured out - and all of this is based on wardrobe gossip and SOD getting a copy of a script that's been sent out. Until KeMo says something, I think we should all back off the assumptions.

More.... and if they do this it cleans up a lot of negativity about "History rewrites" and "Character assinations" except Luke cheating on Laura (but we don't care about that one). From the IL.... (and the Luke escaping one I've seen before). Ethan and Luke track Holly down in late fall and are very surprised at who they find her with. And no it's not Robert. Luke and Ethan find Holly on her death bed in November. Seems as though someone's been pulling some strings to make their puppet dance. The 'Holly' that Ethan and Luke find dies after a confession heard only to Luke. Luke tracks Holly down in England to find her married with children and very upset that he's intruding in her life. Okay I thought a drop at a time would be fun but I guess not. Here's the outline. Luke escapes from Helena Luke finds Lucky and Ethan Helena leaves clues Luke and Ethan take off to find Holly They find her in a private hospital in Australia 'Holly' makes a death bed confession to Luke Luke takes off solo find find Holly Holly's happily married with two tween children Holly's pissed at Luke for showing up Holly wants nothing to do with her past Holly wants nothing to do with Paloma Holly wants nothing to do with her nephew Ethan Luke asks Holly about Robert and she tells him she hasn't seen him in almost twenty years.

I meet people who are transferred to Toronto all the time for their jobs. I guess soaps are just another long-term business. Shows move to Vancouver and Toronto every year to film their season so it's not unheard of in the entertainment industry. This is just the first time in ages that a longtime soap is doing it. I doubt they have much sympathy from the business or foreign diplomacy arenas. Outside of the actors though, it's the crew that will get hit the hardest. Any sense that they are moving too? I haven't read much about it since AMC isn't a show I care about. Lucci also hinted that she won't be moving - whatever that means. Either no more Erica or long-ass commutes. This could either kill it or rebuild it. Too soon to tell which way, but it's obvious ABC intended to keep their soaps going because they wouldn't be investing like this in something they don't see for long-term benefit. I hope the Africa bit it true - that would be interesting to see and it would be using a wonderful opportunity. Yes the three stars were there because of social outreach. But if they can piggy back some remote shoots onto it, it's logistically smart.

I just saw a juicy little tidbit - of course accuracy is always a question. Apparently Susan Lucci was on Regis and Kelly today (I don't watch it so I can't confirm) and she said the trip to Africa was at her request and AMC said they would incorporate it into Erica's story. The extension of that is that it's Africa where TG was "taping" over the summer and the reason NP was there was because that's were Ethan finds Luke. Again don't know for accuracy but there you have it.
