  1. Hahaha! The glory days of S1 and S2 NJ! BTW, you forgot that Danielle Staub makes 5! "Cuckoo! Cukoo!"
  2. I miss the days of 4 women, too be honest. 7 feels a little overwelming. I'm just bummed all the NJ women came back. I just feel nothing for any of them now. At least they will be filming new VTs because Teresa in her bird-feather dress and her scary hairline pressing down on her eyebrows is the scariest thing I have ever seene. I don't know if she is at the moment, but I tuned in once a while back and shut it off after 5 minutes. It was Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
  3. Finally caught up on this week's RHoNY episode! A couple of things: The Aviva/Ramona fight... it tires me out just thinking about it and I just can't. Only that R & A met at Norma's at the Parker Meridien hotel on W56th, and this place has the BEST brunch IN THE WORLD. No joke. Go there if you are in town! Aviva's fur-collared gown: WANT. George had no bidness showing up at that domestic abuse charity event, and he is about as embarrassing as Ramona. Ramona looked like the Little Mermaid threw up on her in that dress. Sonja's scenes were very moving, and the best I have ever seen LuAnn. In fact, they were the best the RHoNY have been in two years. I know TPTB must be ready to let heads roll given this season's slow start, but I love it now and want all the ladies to comes back. I hated Heather at the beginning and now I love her so much, even that "Holla!" in the opening credits no longer annoys me. I liked Dina on RHoNJ but that HGTV show is awful, SO boring, and she comes across as boring and bitchy in it.
  4. AMEN to ALL this. I get that Jill "powered" story but if you want to know what it would have been like if she had stayed on the know, picture RHoNJ as it is right now and ratchet up the unwatchable factor to 1000. Jill Zarin would think herself completely untouchable if she was ever asked back. She would be completely vicious and insufferable to watch. Having her turn on cast members she deems weak is like watching somebody kick a lame puppy in the head. It is awful. Want to see straight-arrows like Heather and Carole beg Andy to be bought out of their contracts? Bring Jill back. She will crush this show under the weight of her overinflated ego. P.S.: Hurrah for multi-year contracts!
  5. I don't know why she is staying with him. Just like I didn't understand why she forced him to mount her in that vineyard in front of EVERYBODY after it was obvious he was taking a call from another woman. BTW, [!@#$%^&*] is a dealbreaker for me -- I have a problem with men who call women that hate-word, whether to their face or behind their back. So what's the deal? Is she completely dickmatized? Feeling the guilts because she bankrupted him? Saving face because his and her families came over to the US together? Completely no self-esteem? I don't understand why they are playing this charade.
  6. Actually I think Joe is going to try and intimidate Andy with a staredown and a few "Watch your back" comments. JMO. Teresa will prob yap "There's no proof my huzzbind cheated" blah blah.
  7. I've watched this show from time to time (don't feel the need to download it like I do with the RHs) but I can't hate. Kourtney or Khloe or whichever is the one who looks like a wookie is awesome. I like Kris Mom Pimp despite everything and Kim, while vapid, has surely the most amazing body I have ever seen on a woman. The family dynamic is the hook and I honestly feel that it is genuine.
  8. I was heavily distracted by Kathy's awful wig. That thing is going to scurry away and make a home for itself with BH's Lisa's fur hat! This show is funereal -- chronicle of a death foretold.
  9. The producers clearly played the housewives against each other -- and they played us the audience because all everybody is doing is wondering who knew what and who was to blame? I suspect Teresa knew about the set-up and sanctioned it and maybe had last-minute stomach pangs because it might mean she got caught with the smoking gun in her hand. Let's face it: Teresa is crazy jealous of Melissa and cannot forgive her. Girl is from Naples and she is going to hold a grudge like nobody's business. Plus she wants to be right all the time and Queen Bee at all costs. And that means humiliating Melissa and making it seem like Melissa is the one who wants to get between Poison Gorga and his famb'ly. It's clear Pete Giudice knew what was going on because he congratulated Teresa on a "good job." Teresa must love the fact that Pete looks like Juicy Joe because it allows her to blame Joe's indiscretions on mistaking Pete for him. But Melissa is no angel and while I don't know or couldn't care less if she ever stripped, I think going onto a TV show with the express purpose of bringing down your SIL is not something that anybody can forgive right away. No wonder her parents-in-law don't want to see her. The way she was whispering to Poison what to say ("say 'Shame on you!'") in the car was very telling. Jacqueline, I think, was told about the set-up by a producer and that's probably why Andy Cohen didn't fire her ass when she refused to come to last year's Reunion. Because she was upset and it was a direct result of what the producers did behind the scenes. Sigh. I'm sure we will see tons more [!@#$%^&*]-stirring and grudge-holding at Reunion. IMO, this show went wrong at Season 3 when Kathy and Melissa joined. For the first time, I didn't understand a thing that was going on, from the fight at the christening onwards. Everything felt edited and fake in a much more acute way than other RH franchises. Everybody is playing a role and it is so obvious. I have never warmed particularly to either Kathy or Melissa but at this point I don't like anybody except Jacq's husband. RHoNJ jumped the shark in Season 3 but it is still sailing over the shark fin in S4. Everybody needs to be fired IMO and perhaps the NJ franchise she be retired for a year or two, if not forever.
  10. What's she going to do now that her career as the next Gretchen Carlson has not taken off? Man that trampoline park? I wouldn't have minded if she had stayed one more season on RHoOC because I wanted to see her and Jim get humiliated some more.
  11. So we sat through that looooooooooong ass season just for the Posche fashion show? Hell, they should have just shortened it to that godforsaken PFS mess, Juicy Joe's Napa booty call and anything involving Milania and Gia, and thrown out everything else. First of all, I can't anymore with Ricky Wakile and his inappropriate sexual jokes at [!@#$%^&*] business meetings. Melissa chasing that "singing career" is just . "We chose not to go with a label last year"? Bitch WTF ever. . Caroline and Jaq are so sour I can't even with them. I only liked Caroline when she and Lauren were looking over the premises of Cafface (that name is so wrong BTW). Dina, who I used to love, made a MAJOR mistake last week coming on the show to snigger about her sister with Teresa. It made her look so petty and hard-up for publicity. Teresa is living a life of her own invention for the cameras. I think we already know this. That Italian lesson was about as authentic as Stouffer's frozen lasagne. I can't make out whether Strippergate was something Tre set up or not. Probably. Though she did look wearied and cornered when that guy introduced himself. Like maybe she'd set it up beforehand with Kim D and then had last minute reservations about it. BTW, Teresa looks 1000 times better and younger with little-to-no make-up. I have to wonder if the palpitations Teresa had at the PFS were palpitations of guilt. There again, I don't know what to make of the fact that Teresa didn't scream "prostitution WHORE" at Melissa when Melissa claimed she couldn't place her former boss. I know Teresa is passive-aggressive but she seemed hesitant and off. Like I said, either she didn't know but knew Kim D was behind this, or she knew and was having second thoughts as to how the fallout was going to make her look.
  12. Heather: I saw Sonja's nipples and vagina so much on that trip, I thought I should start petting and feeding them. This BITCH. I love Heather now. She and Carole are prob my favorite NY housewives and, like Heather, I could see both sides in the Aviva vs. Ramonja row which was infantile in the extreme and hit new levels of hysteria. I don't have anything to say except that Mario is probably booking Ramona into a "spa" as we speak. Sonja's drunkeness really reflects how unhappy and alone she feels. At the end of the day it is the clash of two types of personality -- loud-mouthed, rude, party girls vs. Aviva's self-obsessed, tight-assed homebody. End of. Carole is so... sigh. Awesomeness. And St Barts trip really revived the show. This is what it should have been like 5 episodes ago. RHoNJ by contrast is just... done.
  13. We need Before and After Australia pictures of Jill, stat!
  14. YRBB I love how you are discovering vintage RHoNY. Right now I am rewatching Seasons 1 and 2 of RHoBH. Am in the middle of Season 2, in fact. Despite all the darkness and controversy, this series still knocks the spots of most other RH franchises. It is 1000 times more compelling than what NJ and even NY are selling us (I like RHoNY this season but honestly, NJ is horrendous and if it weren't for Milania and Gia, I would have dumped this show about 5 episodes ago). Taylor! OMG, this crazy, duck-lipped woman. I alternate between feeling sorry for the abuse (alleged abuse?) she is undergoing, the poverty she undoubtedly left behind (and is fearful of revisiting again) -- and despising her lies and manipulations. The way she plays one woman against the other! First it's Camille against the other women, then it's Kim against the others, then it's Lisa against the others, now it's Camille again. This woman is getting deeper entrenched in a ball of lies, though, and one of these days, it's going to come back and bite her in the ass. Controversial and hated as she may be, Taylor needs to appear in Season 3, if only for some of the HW to confront her on WTF went on in Season 2. Lisa, as usual, is the awesomeness. As is Brandi. And Kyle, I go back and forth on. Sometimes I love her. Sometimes I hate her.
  15. Probably because they are not (happy, that is -- I'm assuming they are legally hitched). Lawd, that purple pants gummy picture. I could look at it forever.
  16. This should have been an 8-10 episode season getting straight to the catfights and nitty-gritty. I mean, they spent TWO whole episodes fighting about going to London before actually going to London. We didn't need to see two episodes of Ramona Does Miami and Sonja getting chased by Mr. Perma-boner. It's been 10 episodes thus far -- we should be at epi 4 or 5 by now and LuAnn cheating on Jacques with the Johnny Depp lookalike. THAT'S the dirt I want to see. Speaking of LuAnn, LuAnn's mom says she can't have babies because she got her tubes tied after the birth of her son. LOL. I wish the show was taking off though because it really burns seeing that horrid Jill Zarin triumphantly screeching about how the show is a disaster without her in it.
  17. Heather on NY is fast becoming an enjoyable addition -- in small doses. Sonja was the heart of Monday's episide, though. Her advice to LuAnn about having a baby and miscarrying her own child was very heartfelt and smart. And I was stunned when Ramona pulled her head from her own ass and actually made some very astute observations about Sonja's joie de vivre being a cover for her own loneliness.
  18. Adrienne on BH didn't miss Reunion, she chose not to go to the final wrap party. Reunion has yet to be filmed. I think they do that when episodes of the season in question start being broadcast.
  19. Missing the Reunion show once is one thing. But twice in a row just looks careless. She's happy to get a paycheck from Bravo but not show up for legally contracted shows like these? Jacqueline needs to learn how to handle conflict. That said, bith RHoNY and NJ are deathly boring right now. NY has the edge because of one thing, and that is Sonja leaping up and scrambling across the day bed when Aviva's father pushed his erection against her back. I have never seen Sonja move so fast! LuAnn and Heather are seriously superfluous. Ramona is working my last nerve. Remember the days when Jill used to talk about "Ramona Singer" as this NY society maven? LOL.
  20. I'm not surprised to see that Adrienne and Paul on RHoBH are separating/divorcing, but I will be sorry to see him go. Dr. Paul, along with Chris Laurita, Dr. Dubrow and Ken, is one of my fave househusbands. (LOL, I even like Bobby Zarin).
  21. I fell upon the first ever episode of RHoBH yesterday and it was cool watching it again. Lisa was so fab, Adrienne was actually cool, as was Kyle. And Camille was such a bitch diva! Oh Camille. I remember watching this for the first time and getting truly excited about its glamourous possibilities. Also: Kyle's hair is a natural wonder.
  22. Re: Santa Barbara actors, don't forget that Antonio and Ricardo's (Thickardo! As they called him in the UK) mom Carmen was played by a SB veteran. LOVED this show and its appeal has not dimmed to this day. Aaron Spelling was a producing genius. And a lot of the actors (Adrienne Frantz and Randy Spelling aside) were excellent and completely underrated. I'm thinking primarily of Clive Robertson, Sam Behrens, Lesley-Ann Down, Kathleen Noone, Dominique Jennings and particularly the fantabulous Sarah Buxton and Priscilla Garita. IA. You could tell that they had writers who didn't have the time or the will to go back and check up on recent SuBe history. Because, damn, Antonio and Gabi were incendiary. I also think the show should have tried out Annie and Ben some more because SB and CR had a very natural chemistry, too. LOL, I know I am alone in that opinion.
  23. Chris Manzo, Albie and Greg are all looking a little worse-for-wear TBH.
  24. You never liked Bethenny? ...because it took me a whole season to retune my ear to her nasal braying! I did warm to her in Season 3 when Jill turned on her and tried to turn everybody against her. It's so funny to me when people say Carole on S5 fills the Bethenny void because I don't get that vibe from her at all. Carole is cool as a cucumber and laid-back, whereas Bethenny wore her anxieties on her sleeve. Speaking of warming to people, I warmed to Aviva and Reid in last night's episode. And how about that teaser trailer at the end of the show for the rest of the season?! OMG! LuAnn cheats on Jahhhhhcques with a Captain Jack Sparrow impersonator! And tries to hide it from the show! And new BFFs Ramona and Aviva fall out?
  25. LOL, cross-pollination! à la the AMC/OLTL baby switch.
