  1. I just hope that the kidnapper doesn't turn out to be Andy Richards.
  2. I remember reading something about the Kasnoffs, you are right. I also remember reading that it would be a blue collar shop, this would have been refreshing. And you are right, this should have been posted in the proposed soaps thread, I had forgotten all about it.
  3. John Lindstrom's Jack Abbott would have been written out during his first year. Joey Armstrong (I really hate the name for this character) should have been charming, sexy and more... interesting. Another exciting episode. Injured Andre is very hot. Nobody bothered to tell the Tomas actor that they were filming a disaster story. And he didn't bother to act during the group scenes, he was just standing there. Fairmont Crest Kyle is cute and this is the first time I found Hayley interesting. Toxic couples like Bill and Dani are part of the soap fabric and that's ok. Shanice ended up becoming Ted's rather boring lady friend. They ruined everything that made the character fun at first. Sometimes we complain that the Duprees don't have any real drama with each other, but I find it refreshing. Most of the times family ties exist in soaps in order to have dramatic love triangles. These episodes force me to continue watching on a regular basis from now on.
  4. Do we have any info about this show? I find the idea of Marland creating his own soap fascinating. Is it true that some of his ATWT characters were based on his new soap's bible?
  5. Another very exciting episode. Ok, it was weird that the Country Club had nobody in charge of the situation and the Huxtables had to take care of things. But did I mind? Not really. I didn't expect to like these episodes that much.
  6. I am sure that Josh Griffith is thinking: Delia is so coming back wanting revenge in the future. The story writes itself. A psychotic Mackenzie had her kidnapped.
  7. Okay I haven't enjoyed B&B in decades, but I see a lot of potential in the Logan team. Heather Tom is amazing, Scott Clifton is so much better in this environment than making puppy eyes in uninspired love triangles, Liam seems like a cool guy. I even liked Wyatt in their scenes. I couldn't stand him in the past. Will was also ok in the Logan group scenes, I am so bored with his romantic scenes. It is great watching Heather Tom in such a story. I just hope that Brad Bell doesn't get bored with this in a month.
  8. The dialogue was kind of gringy, but I enjoyed watching this episode. I only fastforwarded Ashley's scenes, I really don't understand why the viewers should care about her drama. She is just a random friend of Naomi and she has her own storylines for no reason. I also don't care for Joey and Vanessa AT ALL. Kyle had a lot of chemistry with Hayley and I found her more interesting than usual in their scene. Flirty Kyle was cute. The production values were amazing. The episode felt like a real soap opera.
  9. Susan Walters looks gorgeous on BTG.
  10. I thought the Trisha actress was a recast Ann. Judging from this clip, this was the Alden family's Quartermaine era.
  11. I have a really hard time seeing Joey Armstrong the way the show wants me to see him. I am not even sure if JL is the right actor for the character MVJ is writing. Ashley Jones was fine so far. In a world where Daphne Duplaix plays grandmother to grown ups, I might pretend to believe that Heather is Joey's sister.
  12. This. Writers used to get inspired by classic books, classic plays and classic films. These days when it is not a joke or a parody, or something "campy" or crazy, we get random stories which could have been written by AI. Which of today's stories will be a classic in twenty years? Which story is important for the show's future? Giving each character ten kids isn't it.
  13. I feel like those older Facebook people who had a hard time with any kind of change. Everything was so easy and familiar before lol. Now I am trying to see if I have missed any new posts or threads. But I get that I will have get used to it, right? SON has been my favorite message board for more than twenty years and I want the best for this community.
  14. I haven't seen a lot of Nadine, but for some reason I see her as a mix of early Opal Gardner and Nola Reardon (if she had ended up marrying someone like Floyd Parker).
  15. I am sorry but I can't see Roger Howarth portray a monster like Matt the same way he played his wacky GH characters. The episode looked fine, the stories are boring and/or stupid.
