  1. Carl Williams got the Stuart Brooks treatment a few years later. Bill Bell loved driving the audience crazy.
  2. POSE is at its best when they remember that this is a show about trans women and not just Billy Potter's vehicle for an Emmy. I loved this episode. As much as I loved last season's episode with the girls on vacation.
  3. I know but there should be a difference between camp and a joke. (I have to admit that I liked pre-Sally B&B much better. I was (the only one?) sad to see the Logans leave lol)
  4. And that's why I haven't considered B&B a soap opera in years. It is a cartoon show where nobody remembers what happened in the previous episode.
  5. I loved Sheree's fiascos!
  6. ATL I guess Porsha's days as an activist as over. Her new story suits her much better. BRAVO has to understand that this woman cannot be the face of the show. Kenya, Cynthia and Kandi have to stay. No to Phaedra. Her story has been told and she is pure trash. NY Is it me or Eboni trying to hard to talk in a way she doesn't normally talk?. Coming to this group through Leah was not the best idea. BH I haven't watched in years. But Garcelle makes me want to watch.
  7. Stephanie was inspired by Vanessa Prentiss, Katherine Chancellor and Jennifer Brooks. She was nothing like the primetime soap divas in my eyes. I think that primetime took ideas and characters daytime and made them bigger than life. Early Krystle/Blake/Alexis reminded me of Rachel/Mac/Iris. A triangle which was not about romance. Or was it? Angela Channing was more or less based on Phoebe Tyler Wallingford. Dina Mergeron had quite a few similarities with Alexis Colby, but her story was also based on Bill Foster. Jill Foster started out a lot like Rachel Davis, Erica Kane and Lisa Miller, she morphed into Alexis Colby and then Bill Bell got bored with the character after Brenda Dickson left (and Edward Scott made sure that Nikki would be Genoa City's first lady).
  8. I love Britt and Jason scenes. And dare I say that I find him kind of hot with her? GH still has sets. That's a good thing in 2021. And I feel that the writers and the directors are not bored while doing their job.
  9. These numbers are insane. At some point you have to rest some characters, if the only thing you can write is marriage and divorce. Or start telling a different kind of story.
  10. AL's Santana would not end up like a pathetic victim. I can see her having some of Gina's stories.
  11. Back in the day I could not accept any Kelly recast after RW. Now I see that what CG brought to the table. I could not see her as Joe or Jeffrey's Kelly, but that character would not have survived in the 90s as a tortured princess. CG's Kelly was like Kimberly Simms as Mindy. Just perfect. TPTB were crazy to recast, especially with ED.
  12. NY So happy to see my NY girls again! I love everything about Ramona, Sonja and Luann. Why does Leah always try to act like a teenager who is in vacation with her mother and her friends? She is almost forty, it should not be that difficult to be around women who are older than her. Trying to act like their rebelious daughter is kind of sad. I like Eboni's energy. She will be more than fine as long as BRAVO doesn't trap her in an one-dimensional role.
  13. Why did the first series about trans women become the Billy Potter show? He is always overacting. The scene with the House of Khan boy saying goodbye to his friend in the hospital room touched me ten thousand times more than BP obsessing to get his Emmy in every single scene. I don't like that a rather realistic show became another naive Ryan Murphy fantasy like "Hollywood". Not to mention that sometimes I feel as though I am watching a very bad straight to video movie at 3 a.m. Especially during the very dramatic scenes with Papi. Dominique, Indya, MJ and even Angelica are "Pose". Season 1 was iconic, after that TPTB decided that only the message (or the lecture) is important, characters and story not so much.
  14. I loved the Potter-Dobson-Marland and the Calhoun-Long-Curlee eras What is left? The Reva years. This character and the arrival of the Lewises ruined GL for me. The show became cheap, one-dimensional, tacky and stupid.
  15. Wasn't Alma Miller the name of Lisa's mother on ATWT?
  16. They are ruining ATL for me. Andy (and the production team) seem very invested in Drew and her stupid theatrics. I don't care how cute her assistant Ralph is, she is too desperate and obvious for RH, not to mention not a very good actress. This season's cast additions should make TPTB realize how valuable their veterans are. The reunions could use a new host or a different format. Perhaps some lost footage and backstage interviews by someone else.
  17. Sexism is the new racism in the soap boards. Men were the stars on Dallas, women were the stars on Dynasty and Knots Landing.
  18. Didn't they repeat the Wes story the next year? With the same actor?
  19. Ava Lazar was amazing as Santana. I wouldn't have recast Gina either.
  20. RHOA Drew is a joke. I don't that the show can afford another season of her stupidity and desperation. Reality television is not her thing. Please make it stop. Nobody is enjoying this.
  21. ATL I love the ladies energy when Drew (and Porsha sometimes) is not around. The scene at Kenya's reminded me of NY. Drew is a joke. All these "dramatic" storylines and the bad acting... I haven't seen one genuine moment from her. She tries too hard and her desperate ways ruin it for me. Not a fun housewife at all.
  22. Denise Alexander would also make a great Beth Logan on B&B.
  23. ATL I love the dynamics between the ladies this year. Nene's bad energy is gone and they almost feel like NY at this point. My only issue is with Drew. Too much family drama too soon and I find it boring. It seems to me that she was desperate to be on the show and promised the producers all kinds of stories. Baby daddies, funerals, meddling mothers, problematic marriages and all. It is so obvious in all her home scenes that she loves presenting these situations. Too much bad acting. I'd rather watch LaToya's Baskeball Wives antics. For now. BTW Marlo and Kenya are much better friends than enemies.
  24. ATL Cynthia is the most beautiful housewife. I am happy for her and I like her presence on the show. Drew is not a very good actress, she thinks that the reality business is easier than it really is. Her marriage drama seems so fake and bad acted. She didn't even pretend that she is trying to cover them up for the show. Her early scenes belonged to a couples therapy reality show. Her reads seem rehearsed and it is so obvious in every scene that she sees RH as a job. Latoya has a Basketball Wives quality to her. I don't like Youtubers on TV because they think that being loud and acting like a clown is all it takes. However I don't mind her presence on the show for now. I always root for Kenya, even when I know that she is wrong. I have the same problem with Ramona.
  25. Greece Guiding Light 1985-87 episodes Search for Tomorrow 1982-84 episodes ATWT 1981 episodes EON 1981 episodes Another World 1983 episodes
