Tuesday June 4, 2024 – Episode #128884 Victor confronts Cole about his betrayal, Claire starts a new chapter, and Traci and Ashley learns a shocking secret. Wednesday, June 5, 2024 – Episode #12885 Sally interrupts a moment between Adam and Chelsea, Lily loses patience with Billy, and Mamie stands her ground with Nate. Thursday, June 6, 2024 – Episode #12886 Ashley’s trip in Paris takes an unexpected turn. Friday, June 7 2024 – Episode #12887 Ashley makes a shocking discovery , while Tucker takes matters into his own hands.

HIn a perfect world an irate Hope would end up taking her entire design collection without warning off to Sally, to which Sally is pleased by and plots with Hope and Eric III against Forrester along with Dino’s aid as Spectra experiences a fantastic quarter while Forrester falls flat. Except Sally is on Y&R these days and B&B ignores the rest therefore Thudley can go [!@#$%^&*] himself lol

Okay onto today’s episode 5/29… So Jill is sick/having possible heart failure….? Yeesh. I sincerely hope this isn’t JG’s answer to Thudley’s “Eric is dying” story over on B&B last fall. Of course knowing JG all of this will probably be held offscreen, unless Hasselhoff is going make a surprise appearance again as Snapper since he was mentioned by name today. JG is terrible at these health illness stories yet keeps telling them. Ugh I was kind of hoping we’d never seen to Chloe again but honestly Sally is better off having Audra as a pal than an unsuccessful sociopath lol. Good riddance. Way to go Diane for finally speaking the truth about how nonsensical it is for Jack to be Nikki’s sponsor especially since Jack still drinks.

Like everything JG does, he wrote the story totally backwards. May Sweeps would have been the perfect to reveal Jordan and Claire being the ones behind a series of strange happenings and sabotage to the Newmans after months of gaining their trust and ingraining themselves in GC society. @YRfan23 I know you keep track of episode counts so I did notice Esther appeared briefly in the background at the Crimson Lights register in today 5/28’s scenes with Chelsea and Summer yet had no speaking role…a bit odd. As was Sharon’s 45 second scene with Chelsea. Summer is now giving in to play nice with Claire and Sally…? A shame JG doesn’t seem to want us to see AL Summer’s claws out again.

Didn’t Thudley just do the whole “outrageous online thing that goes viral” two years ago with Brooke and Deacon? I guess Steffy will now run to Liam like Ridge ran to Taylor 🤣🤣🤣

I definitely remember seeing that “spoiler” about Steffy being arrested for Sheila’s “murder”. I figure with all the recent nonsense at the show there’s probably folks fanning the flames ever more so then than usual.

LOL personally I’m ready for it to end. Had it be written in reverse and had better plotting, it may have been an exciting May Sweeps as we would have just been finding out who Jordan and Claire are after months of committing various minor sabotage acts towards the Newmans without raising suspicions. Due to end of the school year work (giving and grading final exams is worse than taking them lol) and got a bit behind @Taoboi but I was so happy to see Nate & Audra sharing scenes again from today’s episode that I caught.

I didn't know where to share this as I've been avoiding watching this train wreck like the plague lately, but is there anything truth to the rumor going around that Finn and Hope are to have sex during an acupuncture session? Gross if that actually happens but I have yet to see that from any legit/verified source.

What is even worse is the same thing happened to Rick, Macy and Taylor….so I’m glad that Sofer, Eakes, Tylo, Allen, and Young all walked away for good and make Thudley look like the foolish idiot he is.

Early 2000’s once Nick and Sharon bought the place although even then it was a mix of the Glow crew (and of course the trio of Sierra, Lily, and Colleen) and outlier characters like Michael, Lauren, Paul, Christine etc. it usually stayed that way until the MAB era who of course had Jill, Nikki, and Katherine going there.

Lord I pray not. At least that movie was chilling; Griffith’s take on such a plot would be dreary and very unexciting…. I agree. Claire should be bit more rough around the edges for sure, but if she morphs into some Pollyanna who can do no wrong she might as well join Chelsea in her black hole oblivion. It sure would be more interesting to see Claire continue to build a bond with Victoria by displaying her own business acumen to Victoria’s impressment than being the nanny who shacks up with Kyle.

LOL about a year later Y&R scooped him up as a recast for David Tom as Billy on Y&R. Now rumor has it the Ryan Brown/Kelly Kruger mis-pairing was the catalyst for the ridiculous Katherine is Jill’s mother retcon twist but I’ll save that for the Y&R threads. Brown lasted about a year on Y&R before show blew up Billy & Mac for shock value. Maybe GL took a page out of the the cousin thing? Gotcha understood, it’s funny you mentioning that as I was a young History teacher at the time I helped out my colleague often who was the track and field coach and I still remember both my 2004 and 2005 graduating students fondly 🙂 I wasn’t fortunate to get SoapNet til 2003

Matt Bomer was the perfect age for Ben Reade tbh, and I recall there was definitely tension about him hanging out with the younger ladies like Marah and especially Marina even prior to him going psycho. Marah’s whole college story was the most unrealistic college story I have ever seen written on any medium to begin with anyways. I’m always glad Bomer had the last laugh in all that mess. I agree with you I liked the initial shock story of Johnathan and Tammy…I liked Johnathan better when he had another bad girl per se as his heavy like Dinah and Lizzie. I always kept waiting for the other shoe to drop on Johnathan and Tammy ie they weren’t related after all but it never happened, which was bad because even Passions gave a convoluted retcon to make Chad & Whitney not related after all LOL 🤣

@slick jones LOL at your response earlier has me still in tears about Cosgrove and Ryan Brown. 🤣 Ryan Brown’s Bill and Pilar Santos story I had blocked to the far depths of my GL memories. I do wonder who hired Ryan Brown as Billy on Y&R. Major yikes! A Lucy Johnson mandate?

I completely forgot about Beth/Bill til now, yuck. I was fine with Cosgrove during his 1st run, and I remember SOD named him as Best Recast (while that putrid Marah actress was named as Worst Recast lol). That said the biggest issue I believe Cosgrove and St. Alban (subpar acting aside until her final year) had was they were both wayyy too old to be playing Bill and Michelle by at almost a decade and they looked it too. Yikes. What was the casting director thinking at the time. I also never understood how the rabid Manny fan base withstood St. Alban’s tenure either lol. Thank god there wasn’t social media back then besides message boards.

Yeah, I hate to be insensitive to JG’s personal life but what’s he’s written is nothing to be proud of at all. Depressing and boring especially with Connor being institutionalized. Who the hell writes that crud? Not too terribly surprised at Y&R mainly because this Jordan story is being super stretched out. Interesting but also same recycled plot for months now.

I could very easily see that as well especially with Morrow’s ego. However, with Nick and Sally being long over, now Nick has zero story at all other than to be a supporting Newman and that’s it. The only advantage is he appears more than other black hole characters like Chelsea and Sharon do. The show teased Nick and Lily a month or so ago but didn’t follow-up at all. Also the recent JM and Stafford scenes also feel forced and awkward. I know Phyllis has been written into a permanent corner for a year now, but I get the sense JM and MS may not enjoy working together anymore either. I wonder what happened there.

My theory about SC is she’s perhaps on “punishment” possibly for twice refusing to do a Shick reunion after JG teased it both in 2022 and 2023. Now she’s doing once a month appearances with minimum acting and making goofy faces. A darn shame.

Today’s 5/6 episode featured a cameo by Sharon to remind us that yes she still is on the show; that said the two scenes consisted of Phyllis and Sharon awkwardly giggling and making goofy faces at each other. Just totally bizarre! No wonder there’s speculation of some BTS drama with Sharon Case at the moment based off on that strange moment alone. Glad you enjoyed it as well, the first 3 days of May last week ended on a high point. The weird Sharon scenes aside, Monday’s episode does at least have a nice emotional fallout scenes between Jack and Diane and Kyle and Summer.

Oh yes. Like Y&R, B&B went through a 1996-97 downturn as well but came alive again in the fall of 1997. The Maggie/James/Sheila triangle and rivalry was at least something different, and after Sheila’s suicide attempt by jumping off a building in her wedding dress it seemed Sheila going to be put into a more a sane direction until Stephanie meddled in her affairs again.

While I found the Freilich era to resurrect the show and make it highly entertaining, I still vividly remember your satire post with Jane Wyman quotes several several pages back Khan 🤣🤣 Dallas should’ve ended with Sue Ellen telling JR he’ll be the laughing stock of Texas while FC should’ve ended with Angela’s very ominous “I’ll be back” to Melissa.
