October 13 Omg evil Rachel is back even under the new actress I love it! The new actress played the switch so perfectly. I’m still confused how Chad ever thought Jack, Jennifer, or his kids would get over Cat pretending to be their dead daughter and mother and actually be okay with him dating her? Like that’s just straight up dumb. I’m usually not really into teen stories but the Sofia story has actually been a very entertaining umbrella story as we head towards it’s conclusion.

I’d be down with a recast Jax especially if he had chemistry with Laura. And if they actually made it seem like Jax was more important than Sonny to her while they’re a couple, but the show doesn’t like to do that.

Where the hell is Ric? Why does their feel like no air of fear of him getting revenge on Alexis, Kristina, and Ava?

This is another one of those things where the writers basically think the audience won’t remember what they literally watched or they honestly don’t care if the audience remembers or cares.

Drew can’t even hold in being a prick for more than 30 minutes. He lured Ronnie in and then instantly in a flash showed her why everyone in the family hates him. They’ve gotta give this guy maybe just an ounce of self reflection at some point or they really should just have someone shoot him again. Rocco not giving a [!@#$%^&*] about his actual feelings and wanting to be close to a psychopathic family that literally stole him, is just absurd and poor writing.

Melissa Reeves 40th anniversary episode was extremely well done. I’m so happy she’s been more willing to film a lot more lately. And you can see why Jack and Jen were such a popular couple in their heyday, Melissa and Matt had excellent chemistry all those years ago. Also always fun to see when the show had a budget.

The accuracy. I was so not enthused when he was announced as Michael and he has blown me away. Truly proved what a hack JG is. I agree with this. I don’t actually need to see Carly in love at this point.

I find Days super enjoyable when I’m watching multiple episodes in a row.

So currently I binge Days when I’m working from home until GH and BTG come on at 2. Maybe if I get caught all the way up on DAYS, I can add some Y&R.

What continues to impress me about Rory is he’s playing and talking about so much character history and interactions he never played because it was Chad, but you believe it was all him. He just sells it so well. I’d love to see him tackle some AJ material as it relates to his feelings now about his father and how he was taken from him.

Bingo.

My only opposition is that when Billy Miller played Drew when I was watching, he was very much a Quartermaine due to his time as Jason where he actually gave a damn about them unlike Steve’s Jason.

It genuinely feels like Drew has never loved anyone except Willow the way they’re currently writing him. They say he’s bitter at the Quartermaines but he doesn’t even act like there was a time where he loved them. He never expresses any guilt over stealing his nephews wife when he and Michael from what I’ve seen, were actually close. His daughter is absolutely nothing but a pawn to him which is sad. I find Drew to be a good evil on the show but the way they’re currently writing him I also wouldn’t mind if he got shot for a second time in 2 months. Truly whomever shot him has no reason not to finish the job since he hasn’t changed at all. Michael going back to Quartermaine to honor Monica after her death would’ve been pretty easy to write.

Does Drew miss having friends and family? The love of Willow literally can’t be worth an entire town hating you, but it seems like he doesn’t care. He expressed some hurt about Monica but instantly went back to Evil Drew so it rings hollow.

Are the LA episodes worth checking out. I did want to check out Tamara’s new role as I’ll always be a fan of her.

The fact that Michael is fully a Quartermaine these days in everything but name only annoys me to no end. His children having the Corinthos name instead of Quartermaine is gross. The show tip toes around the fact that Sonny murdered AJ in cold blood to the point you have Sonny giving Monica’s effing sister a tour of the town and just saying his relationship with Monica was “complicated”. There’s nothing complicated about it, you murdered her son and then they let you out of prison early and her grandson just got over you doing it.

These are the same people who said Garcelle showed us nothing while ignoring how much she shared of her and her kids lives sadly to the detriment of her kids. She’s also had her sister on and the list goes on. She’s a successful black woman who quit her white show, that’s enough for these people.

I doubt Andy cares about Gretchen’s views. Julia’s wife Martina is a proud transphobe and he doesn’t give a [!@#$%^&*]. He spent the reunion babying Julia.

Have Jason and Sonny like taken oaths not to kill Drew because Sonny already killed one of his brothers? It’s actually amazing how much they’ve let him get away with in regards to S Michael, Danny, and Rocco. They’ve killed for far less.

I dunno. I don’t think the popularity of the Character is actually that strong these days. As I asked before, is there even any actual proof of ratings going down when he’s not in the forefront getting away with murder?
