  1. Totally. Just in general I feel like GH goes through the motions with stories. The only energy this show has is solely from the actors and when someone isn’t pulling their weight (like Marcus Coloma), it really shows. I just don’t think the writers know who Nikolas is. They are all over the place with him. MC can’t really find his way and has been propped by the excellent actors around him (Maura, Nicholas Chavez, and Genie).
  2. The sex montage was just such ‘90s cheese, like two horny high schoolers finally hooking in a teen movie. Just a weird tonal choice for their first fûck. For me the whole story is lame, outside of the obvious innuendo of a dad bedding his son’s girlfriend. I think they pulled their punches with Nikolas. He’s just been a total dumbass throughout this story, a brainless himbo being manipulated by a young vixen, instead of someone taking a clearer, more intentional role in this situation. Part of it is MC sucks in the role. He’s just not good. His choices are so flat.
  3. My issue is that it’s too tame and routine. If you’re going to go for it, GO for it. Make it sordid and dirty. Don’t try to make it sexy and hot, when it’s just not. That’s just my opinion.
  4. The older Susan Walters gets, the closer her performance as Diane feels to Alex Donnelly’s. Not the unbridled rage part, but the calm knowingness to really see through someone and get under their skin. AD just happened to have it at a much younger age. As good as she could be during her initial run, SW didn’t really have the gravitas for it in her younger years. Imani finally showed some fire with Amanda. Allie, OTOH, looks ready to be played.
  5. A sad commentary that a black actor has to be a bonafide, Primetime Emmy-winning household name for RC to give them the time of day. Then again, shame on the other soaps for barely bothering to showcase black talent.
  6. LOL finally someone at CNN understands they overuse the “Breaking News” banner. When everything is “Breaking News,” nothing is. It’s a problem with a lot of news channels these days:
  7. I also agree with this. Avery Pohl never seemed more like a junior high student than when she was romping with this middle-aged man. And that’s fine if they wanted to lean into the creepy factor (GH doesn’t have the balls to do that), but they tried to play it as this highly dated, MTV-style frenetic rush of a sex scene. It’s like they don’t actually watch their own show and see how things are playing.
  8. I’m not sure how I feel about this franchise. It looks beautiful and expensive and it’s interesting to view Dubai through a very Black and Arab/Emirati lens (so funny to see Caroline Stanbury as this cast’s Kim Zolciak, the sole Western white woman). But that ending argument felt so boring and basic to me. Like you have this fascinating setting, and you’re gonna give us overly rehearsed, Standard Housewives Drama? To be clearer, it just didn’t make me care to see more of this particular group of women interacting. Felt kinda stale and forced in terms of the dynamics, even though it’s a very diverse group of women. I don’t feel a sense of history or layers.
  9. J from Colombia 🇨🇴
  10. DWTS’ original EP is in talks to return.
  11. Here’s something for the Kinsey Sicks 😉
  12. I hope Kelly Thiebaud submits today’s scenes for an Emmy next year.
  13. 😂 😝
  14. Not to scandalize the Kinsey Sixes among us, but just wanted to give Jennifer Connelly her flowers for being a hot, hot lady:
  15. Young John Pleshette is oddly sexy. *runs and hides
  16. Posted in the wrong thread: Funny to see Robert Adamson as Michael today. He and Willow look like siblings. This sex scene is RIDICULOUS.

  18. The resurgence of Marin Cilic.
  19. Twitter is posting Billy Crystal thirst traps:
  20. I like Summer’s dress but the fit and that huge green belt…yech. NuSummer reminded me a touch of vintage Rebecca Romijn today. Phyllis is pathetic. Glad the show is writing her in character.
  21. Adriano from Brazil 🇧🇷 You’d think he’d have more hair on his chest.
  22. I totally agree. Is Leigh-Ann Rose even on contract? I haven’t paid attention to the end credits in a while. They barely seem committed to Elena and Amanda.
  23. This show needs better script writers. I find it hard to watch. Can they lure back Patrick Mulcahey?
  24. I wish they did show more of the backbone she had when she first appeared. I find the actress a little unripe but she pops off the screen, and she’d be so much further along if they’d given her more to do (instead of the goofy, comic-relief run-ins with Nate/Elena at Society). I admit I laughed when Elena yelled, “Guys, I’m right here!” in her fantasy as Imani was beckoning Nate to the shower.
