It’s getting better in Episodes 3 and 4, so I’m understanding why they released all of the episodes as a binge instead of a weekly rollout, which would have been deadly.

I agree that everything doesn’t need to be a twist or a mystery, at least not for the audience. A weird story for a whodunnit.

Wendy Moniz (GL) has been upped from recurring to series regular on Yellowstone. Jen Landon (ATWT) recently received the same promotion on the show.

Oh totally agreed on that point and would be perfect as the story progresses, as you say. It’s just weird that they appeared to skip the immediate horror and shock.

There are times when it works for me in Chad’s scenes. The smiling comes across as arrogance. Like “you’re a joke to me, so I’m just gonna grin.” Today, it felt like clowning, and actually the silly music and staging felt like it supported his choice.

It was almost like he was playing the scene as comedy. So goofy-looking.

What weird acting from Billy Flynn. He looked guilty upon the discovery instead of horrified.

This is also a show that regularly employs the unbelievable device of masks to artificially create drama instead of taking the time and care to do it organically and credibly. It’s just lazy all around.

Everything is just so meaningless on this show (death, etc.) I know a lot of that is soap convention, but DAYS takes it to an extreme.

Ron shouldn’t have tried to explain this. He made it worse because it’s so easy to pick apart his argument. He’s not great at the public-facing part of this gig (in addition to many other aspects).
