  1. She shoulda stayed as Nina - could be jumping all over MB and fighting with LW on the daily. Good thing we got CW instead.
  2. That’s what I’m thinking and why they mention the online simulcast. It isn’t a nationwide broadcast.
  3. In Minneapolis, our local news airs for an hour after This Morning before The Price is Right.
  4. I don’t think it is set in Atlanta, just being filmed there. The show is set in the suburbs of DC, correct?
  5. Yeah I am so mad they are wasting someone like ELR on this character. They could have done so much with her.
  6. Exactly. I am not a Frank apologist and I certainly hope that he brings on a new female partner for Kristina as opposed to throwing her back with men. He has made a ton of mistakes with these stories in his career, I just happen to think firing this actress is not one of them. I am all about lgbt representation on the soaps, I am gay and want lots of it. I still remember being a young closeted teenager and being so impacted by Bianca’s coming out story. But I also want good, strong actors in entertaining stories while I’m watching my shows as well. Representation for representation sake does nobody any favors. My boss is a 55 year old lesbian who LOVES Kristina and, when I told her about this exit, responded with “oh well, I didn’t really care for her”.
  7. OK let's be honest, other than the fact that this was one half of an lgbt couple, this is not a huge loss for the show. She could barely scrape together a couple tears when Kristina fell through that window and it was a damn good thing the writers sent her off with mommy to that restaurant because she would have been so out of place with the powerhouse performances in the hospital. I am OK with this move by TPTB.
  8. I too am a married gay man and am planing to adopt currently, so I have some knowledge on this subject as well. I see everyone’s points about Kristina and the optics about gestational hosts, but there is one big difference that I keep coming back to: it was her own egg in this case. Has she used a donor egg and TJ’s sperm, this would be a very different set of circumstances, but they used her own egg to keep the Davis DNA, which changes it for me and makes me understand her point of view a bit. And legally, that baby is Kristina’s until after it is born and the parental rights are signed over. Each state is different, but in my state (Minnesota), you legally sign over the parental rights after 72 hours and then have 10 business days after that to change your mind and take it back.
  9. According to Wikipedia, she has two young children, so maybe she is enjoying being a mom? We have been so lucky lately with the casting news out of GH, please please please can we get lucky again with this one?
  10. Glad I’m not the only one! My boss thinks I’m crazy too, but she buys into my theories because I end up being right a lot of the time.
  11. I still think at some point we will find out that the original surrogate lied about miscarrying and she has a Tolly baby out there - it just always felt so quick to me when it happened.
  12. I am no Sonny apologist, but I did think Lois was a bit aggressive with him. I get her asking the questions, but it felt like she didn't even give him a bit of grace as someone who is supposed to be one of her best friends from forever. I get it, he is a mob boss and has done some terrible things and she wants to protect her Brookie, but she barely even let him speak while going off on how she would never let him hurt her little girl.
  13. AMC did look really good that last year after it moved to the west coast. Before that? Those last few years in NYC were dreadful, but I’m not sure how much JHC could have done with the limitations in place.
  14. I’ve always been a KeMo fan since her PC days, but the past few years I haven’t felt very enthused by her or her stories. Ever since Dante’s shooting, she has really brought it and is doing some amazing work. So glad Sam is not just falling back in line with Jason like Carly and Michael are.
  15. In Minnesota it is that way, Y&R is on from 11-12, local news from 12-12:30, then B&B.
  16. I'd be interested to know GH's numbers with Hulu added in. I am someone who has cut the cord from cable but still watch every single episode of GH on Hulu.
  17. You know, when he came on as Austin, I wasn’t thrilled, but was hopeful for another Quartermaine. I remember when he first was Franco and they tied him to the Q’s and thought RH fit well with them. Perhaps if they had kept him in that orbit, Austin would have received a different fate. Oh well, after this many characters I am ok with a break. We should have seen this coming when they didn’t at least give him and Kassie a pass by scene.
  18. Doesn't mean anything these days in soaps.
  19. Could Claire be Victoria & Cole's daughter, Eve?
  20. Wow this one hurts. I know he had struggles, but I had always hoped in the back of my mind that he would get it together and bring Nikolas back to GH
