  1. Agree with this. It's part of the reason I'm struggling with this June storyline. It feels like they're throwing in EVERYTHING ever said about ANY homeless person.
  2. Josh Morrow is an awesome looking 51. Shirtless and misted up to glisten? Yes, please. They really should have pushed that angle. Of course, this is Y&R, which pretends gay males don't exist except to set off all the gaydar alarms. Yeah, I caught those Billy Flynn cakes, too. Even in the dark slacks, Dat Ass was looking good! A couple years ago, I responded on X to a photo of Billy's perfect butt in tight jeans. I thanked Billy for sharing that with us. Billy liked my post, which made my month 😂
  3. I've made my disgust with Sonny as a character and Mo as an actor clear, and then some. Still, I agree the show would be crazy to kill him off. That would be a self-inflicted wound that would haunt them.
  4. The preview show B&B in Italy next week. Nick Marone is there, looking like a sightseeing lesbian who lost her backpack.
  5. -- June paying the restaurant bill with Monopoly money was not cute or sweet. Is she that out of touch with reality? Maybe Naomi should be real with her instead of going along with all the craziness. -- June's rudeness to others -- like the waitress -- isn't cute either. If writers want me to be on her side, stop writing her like she's either crazy or ignorant or vile. -- Tomas is a scumbag liar, but Kat willingly -- and stupidly -- gave it up. She waited all that time for someone she accused cheating on her minutes before? -- That "love scene" was not hot and it was not sexy. Even the sex scenes are awkward for Alex Alegria. Plus can someone tell these guys that pursed lips kissing does not look hot? -- We know Kat wasn't on birth control. We better not get a knocked up Kat. -- I don't know about the rest of social media, but Reddit was mad as hell at Tomas and the writing today, with many saying the scenes were clearly written by a man and that the entire thing was degrading to Kat.
  6. I do not understand the reasoning behind getting rid of Peyton Meyer as Doug3. His work with Susan Seaforth Hayes should have been enough to keep the character on the show. It's enough to make me side eye these new writers. Every time I credit them with saving us from Ron, they do something like this -- the same day annoying Susan is back to ruin every scene she's in.
  7. Horrible mistake to kill off a legacy character. Yeah, I know Conner Floyd is going to DAYS. That is no reason to kill off Chance. Besides, maybe CF looked for another gig when he found out asswipe Josh Griffith was killing off Chance. This show is a mess.
  8. -- Carly is disgusting in her treatment of Lucas. I am so sick of characters ignoring who Sonny is. -- Katelyn MacMullen was once again outstanding as Willow in those scenes with Nina.
  9. I hope they go with the Supremes/Motown style. Since the ages are so wonky all over the canvas, I'm not pressed on getting this music style exactly right as to the year. I think these women could pull off the Motown stuff the best.
  10. I agree that Tomas isn't a slut. I'd like it more if he were. As it is, he just comes across as indecisive and stupid. And MY GOD the acting is awful. Tomas needs to be stiff in bed, but not that kind of stiff. -- That bed in Eva's hotel room looks like it's for the little people. Anyone over 5'8" would be hanging off the bed. -- Jacob is a good guy and he's right, but painting him as Dudley Do-Right does him no favors. -- Daphnee Duplaix and Timon Durrett were sensational in their scenes. No one on this show is better than those two. -- Nicole got in some great shots at Bill, but Bill responded in kind with just as many. As much as I love Nicole, Bill perfectly described the Dupree family and their flaws. -- I appreciate the writing on this show that allows us to call out the hypocrisy among the Duprees. -- Martin told his mother "I am a Dupree." Uh....no, you're not, Martin.
  11. Oh. My. God. Josh Griffith wrote Carter as the killer. He went with the most obvious and underwhelming choice. This show SUCKS. https://x.com/chiarachampagne/status/1948502325288730915
  12. It's not working at all. Carly came off like a complete loon in those scenes.
  13. They really need to drop that run for the presidency stuff. From the beginning, it was an overreach, just as "Anita is an EGOT" is an overreach.
  14. Today's show frustrated me. -- If the show is presenting a Ted/Nicole/Leslie triangle, it's a fail. It will not work because viewers will overwhelmingly side with Nicole. Ted will be HATED for being so stupid and naive, while Leslie will just be "appreciated" for being a loon and crazed. It makes no sense for Ted to be interested in Leslie, nor does it make sense for him to entertain her in his hotel room for conversations. -- Having Ted show interest in Leslie could possibly kill his character not even 6 months into the show. Unlike others, I do not want the character written off. -- I'll repeat what I've said before: Keith D. Robinson is a strong actor who's been given weak writing. They haven't given him anything to play in his scenes with Nicole. -- The Chelsea/Madison/Alison story has been rushed from the beginning, starting with the threesome to the "We're in love." It's all ridiculously rushed. -- Jacob took the right approach with Ted as far as giving a statement about Nicole and Leslie fighting, but that only highlighted how aggressively he questioned Nicole. It made Jacob look ridiculous, and it frustrated me. -- Tomas is coming off like a complete moron. He's supposed to be a smart and savvy lawyer? OK, then don't tell Eva all the tea on Kat. Don't kiss her like you want to bed her. Don't hold her hand as you leave the restaurant. -- Isn't Tomas supposed to be wary of Bill as his boss? Would he really be this stupid in dealing with Kat? -- And by the way, none of those cute scenes with Tomas and Eva worked because Alex Alegria is stiff as a board and awkward as hell. Ambyr Michelle is great, which makes him look even worse by comparison. -- The star of today's show was once again Daphnee Duplaix. She owns the screen as Nicole.
  15. With Carter telling her "I'm so glad to see you again" with a look and smile that says he wants to screw her.
  16. -- No, Nick and Sharon would not listen to Carter and allow themselves to be locked into a room. -- If Victor is so damn powerful, why can't he do anything to protect his family? So much bluster. -- Eric Braeden is getting slower and worse with his lines, giving Maurice Benard a run for his money.
  17. -- After all the Martin drama, today's episode was a bit of a letdown. -- Why is Bill always passive/aggressive with Tomas when Tomas walks into the room? I don't understand constantly throwing shade and insults at a lawyer with your firm. -- Tomas has been off for a couple weeks. Is that why the actor seemed to be back at Day One in this episode? He could not be more awkward. -- Hayley's kitty kat act is getting tiresome. If she has hired a surrogate, are we to believe she'll wear a fake pregnancy belly and deny Bill sex for 7 months? And yeah, the "I'm 10 weeks" is also old. -- I don't believe Alison's husband pushed her, either. Regardless, Chelsea is coming off as dumber than a box of hair. Taking her to the hospital is one thing, but walking into her room to hold her hand? The girl has no brains. -- I am glad that the hospital room next to the nurses' desk is always available, though. I wonder if Alison will be kept there as long as June and Laura were. -- The Articulettes story is not working for me. As pointed out, it's repetitive. Even worse, seemingly major arguments are hashed out in 10 minutes. -- Pretty cool that Sharon and Tracy have enough money to make all these back-and-forth trips to see Anita. -- We keep hearing how great the Articulettes music was, but haven't hear a single note. I don't think the story works unless we do. Yeah, I know -- the budget prevents a lot. But I'd rather not tackle stories that can't play out realistically. -- Even if we get a song eventually, will it sound like a group who could captivate "the world"? I highly doubt it. -- But at least Carlivati got his "Articulettes Strong" into the script. Again.
  18. P.S. Hard to believe this show tripled down on more Leo Stark.
  19. And Peacock is raising prices from $7.99 to $10.99 a month, which potentially loses more DAYS viewers. I agree with you about the new writers. I was really happy with them in the first weeks after Ron left, but recently the show has slowed down -- as you said, playing it safe. If this is supposed to be something to look forward to, I'm not getting it.
  20. Oh, I agree with you there. That's why I called the writing for her bad, though. They're writing Ashley as just too awkward. Exactly, on top of Martin killing one guy and beating up on another. And not just a passing line -- but extended conversations!
  21. -- I thought today's show was a good one, highlighted by Nicole's emotional scenes with both Martin and Dani. All 3 were excellent, and their scenes were moving. -- Nicole is still very angry with Ted over the affair baby -- and rightly so -- and she makes a lot of good points about Ted not telling her what happened with Martin. Still, I think Ted had solid responses to that. It's possible that both people on opposite sides of an issue can be right. -- Dani came off as a little naive when she was first told about Martin's horrific story, as if it was hard for her to understand how that could happen. I didn't buy that at all. -- Anita is still coming off as imperious and a bit removed from real life. Filling us in on civil rights and marches and freedoms just seemed awkward. I was ready for her to say "DupreesStrong." -- I like Jacob and Naomi being on opposite sides, although again, the "I'M A DUPREE!" line makes me gag. -- I become less of a Chelsea fan every time I see her. -- Derek and Shanice are good together, although I wish it wasn't just for game playing. I realize that may lead to something more. -- Once again, Ashley did nothing with really bad writing. "See you later, alligator" is really what the writers are going with? They make her so lame and so uncool that it's unreal.
  22. Did this one have a 13-week contract?
  23. -- I feel nothing when I see Leo and Javi get teary-eyed over this baby.
