  1. Why was Jack dressed in a suit, tie, and mourning coat for the entire show?
  2. -- Does ANYONE side with Maxie in this argument with Lulu? That coma destroyed some brain cells. Telling Lulu "Nathan has a right to move on with his life -- just not with you is NUTS. -- I'm good with a Liz/Dante pairing. I need more than "Frank won't give them anything to do" to hate the coupling. If they're talk-tos as singles, they can be talk-tos in a relationship. -- Trina sounded good to me. Was the solo odd? Yeah, but that's not on the actress, who has a good voice. I've heard SO much bad singing on soaps, and complaining about Trina is odd to me. -- Eden McCoy has been good this week, but she's been dialed up to 10 for two days in a row. I need a little balance. -- I am surprised Carly didn't scream and yell when Valentin was on top of her.
  3. Deanna is in the previews, so I can comment on her here. Once again, I think they cast an actor who looks much older than the character is supposed to be.
  4. -- I'm ok with the blood plasma storyline, but they're botching the execution. -- Jacob again at that corner brick wall to get his marching orders? And Smitty meeting him there...for what? -- The Grayson package drop and reveal should never have been done in the elevator leading to the nurses' desk. This is supposed to be a cloak-and-dagger operation, and it's just absurd. -- Also absurd is Derek being the point man for all things free clinic. He just walks into Garland, meets the chief of staff, and 2 minutes later has an agreement. Chief Lia -- without any research or even a fact sheet of information -- says she'll link the hospital to the clinic and talk to the board. I feel like Josh Griffith is writing this.
  5. Reddit had a list of kidnappings in recent years.
  6. I'm glad Deanna will be on the canvas, but I am worried they've again cast someone who's much older than the character. I don't think Angela Fairley looks like she's in her late teens.
  7. Yeah, this is typical soap stuff, but it's ridiculous. Maxie chose Spinelli but that means everyone who knows her has to stay away from Nathan? Or that Nathan can't date again? -- The BLQ/Chase stuff with the baby is soooooo damn boring. -- So is the Britt Loses It Over Losing A Patient stuff. What an overreaction. -- Eden McCoy (Joss) did her best work in a long, long time today, and it was so good hearing someone rip into Sonny and who he really is.
  8. All of it was so bad. I can't believe we got multiple scenes of that mess. Yep. Moving Will from Electra wasn't a bad idea, but this? Hearing fake ass Dylan thank him 100 times for getting her off the streets is not good story unless they turn her into a conniving monster. -- The last segment (not shown on broadcast TV in the East) included Dylan AGAIN telling Will she appreciates him and that what's happened is all her fault and that she doesn't want to be anywhere else but with him.... ....plus Sheila moving from talking about her sex like to Taylor to talking about her sex life to Deke.... ....plus Deacon going to Taylor's office to tell her he though of her every minute he was railing Sheila. Naturally, that turned Taylor on.
  9. -- Has anyone in the history of muggers be as afraid of muggers as Hayley is? -- It's bad enough that Hayley and Randy are stupid con artists, but it's just as hard watching Chelsea and Madison so stupidly caught up in Hayley's performance. -- Is this another discussion of the impact stalker Allison has on Chelsea, followed by 3 more months of never hearing her name? -- Tomas can't make a one-way phone call come off as realistic, either. -- That insult battle between Vanessa and Leslie was lame. Neither one of them got off a good shot. Going to this well so often is a bad idea even when the lines are good. This dialogue was not. -- If they're goiong to give us details about the operation of the clinic, it needs to make sense. They're ready for a press conference but don't even have enough doctors lined up to staff it? And Derek has filled out the schedule? And they need food trucks there to attract patients? What the what? -- The only thing that worked for me today was the Eva/Derek chem test. He has more chemistry with Eva than he did with Ashley, and Eva has more chem with Derek than she does with Izaiah.
  10. -- Eva is now at Orphey Gene's for the 5th day in a row. Meanwhile, her mother moves from place to place playing a cartoon. -- Derek is doing the scheduling for the free clinic. DEREK? -- Bill can make multiple smart moves to get Lynette's charges dropped, but he has to go to Joey to find Hayley's attacker? -- All of these hot, sexy people on this show, but Joey and Vanessa get more makeout scenes than anyone else. GMAB. -- Great wardrobe on this show, but the styling for Joey is a major fail. -- I'm only 20 minutes in, BTW.
  11. That little girl voice on Chelsea makes her come off as even dumber. The crazy thing is that Madison's IQ drops 30 points when she's with Chelsea.
  12. Selena Wu -- one-note with a robotic voice for sure. No way is that her normal speaking voice, and why she thought that worked for the character is something I will never understand.
  13. -- I'm tired of Sonny, too, but Maurice Benard is going nowhere. He doesn't want to leave and this show will never get rid of him. It's not happening. -- Isaiah should RUN from Portia. -- This storyline with Curtis gifting Portia the house is maddening. She's a frickin doctor. She can't afford to buy him out? She never thought of doing that to stay in this glorious house she loves so much (and that the show pretends has been around for 50 years)? And is Curtis so flush with money that he can afford to sign over the house to her? -- This baby stuff....Grey's Anatomy it ain't. It was fun seeing Lucas wave around those paddles like he was performing in a drag show. -- Brook Lynn's reaction to Delilah was so overdone and out of control.
  14. True, and I'm glad we're now seeing that Dylan isn't some sweet and innocent waif. So many people dislike Electra, and I get that, but that doesn't make Dylan any better. She's been after Will since day one. 😂 No question -- Hope is just ridiculous and embarrassing. He is looking really good. That's important, because then we can look at him and not at the horrific CGI in the background. They've actually made it worse. -- I have to (again) add that hearing Sheila talk about having sex with Deacon makes me sick to my stomach.
  15. -- Bill makes it clear he wants a son. Very neanderthal of him. -- I thought the "Can I date your daughter?" Carlton/Vernon exchange was cringe. Vernon's loud and long laugh was overdone and embarrassing. -- Once again, a Giddens/Paige script is filled with pop culture references and slang all over the place. The problem remains that the other writers don't do this. -- Garland Hospital is a walking HR violation. -- Gee, I wonder if Lia (the hospital chief of staff) and Greyson) are involved in some shade business. That was like being battered on the head with an anvil. -- Stupid criminals Hayley and Randy are AGAIN meeting at Uptown. At least they're finally getting caught. It's just not believable that they can be this dumb.
  16. -- So Ted's meet up with Izaiah was to play basketball? Okay. -- Is Eva allowed to leave Orphey Gene's?
  17. -- Did I hear Sharon tell Noah "Your dad hasn't let us down yet"? In just the past month, Matt Clark overpowered dumb Nick in the car and turned limping Nick into a drug addict. -- Billy Flynn and Michelle Stafford could barely keep it together today during those stupid scenes about giving Chancellor back to the Newmans. I'm actually glad to see them near breaking, because it's good to know they think this story is ridiculous, too.
  18. This show continues to suffer from baby rabies.
  19. Sheila told Deacon "Mama needs her Daddy." I want to throw up.
  20. You're right about the butt (I miss Joshua Hoffman as RJ for dat ass) but the lips on Deke are prime.
  21. Yeah, I wonder the same thing about Sidwell. I don't know what the hell his endgame is.
  22. Yep. And that was supposed to say wrong, not won't.
  23. He's so hot, but they aren't styling him properly. The clothes are wrong and so is the hair.
