MAJOR eyeroll. Not only is she violating her friendship with Nicole, but she's overreacting like crazy. She wasn't this upset over Doug's death and has never shown this emotion over her own kids.

They need to work on those hospital scenes to make them more realistic. I also have problems with the PDA between Madison and Chelsea every time they're shown at the hospital. I don't think that's realistic or cute. The changes to the characters' names in the credits is ridiculous, period, especially Leslie's name. Why make it all busier? I've been pretty clear about how I feel about Joey. It is cartoonish and cliche. This show wants to have a big bad mobster while also keeping the actor on the show, and it doesn't work for me. That Golden Corral Casino set doesn't scream power or money, and I HATE that everything he does USES and ABUSES POC in general and Black people in particular. It's maddening. And yeah, I know that many viewers think Vanessa will take him down and has a plan. The problem is she's not written that way and LB is not playing her that way. She comes off as in love with this lowlife hood who controls all the Black people in town. Will it be another year before we get the "Surprise! It was all Vanessa's plan!" ??? I don't want it. -- That cleavage today on Vanessa did not work. -- I understand the goal with Tracey's conversation with Anita, but it made me cringe. Tracey went on and on with the negatives, imploring Anita to face up to how awful everything is. I thought it was a rough way to make the point.

Al Calderon was so bad as Javi in the final scene of today's show that I couldn't stop laughing. I mean, what the actual hell is he doing??? He can't be gone soon enough.

Exactly. Anyone who defines Heated Rivalry by calling it gay fetish material missed the point of all of it. Every bit of the sex and horniness is essential, leading to a romance for the ages.

-- In what universe are women throwing themselves at Mitch? I guess he agrees, and that's why he knew Sienna was conning him. -- Matt Clark is dumb, but the Newmans are dumber. Nick taking Matt to his death (?) by himself and without backup? -- The Noah and Sienna relationship does not work. Both actors are fine, but there's no romantic chemistry there.

-- I feel bad for Ben Gavin. He wasn't great, but he had improved. It's not his fault that Derek was a poorly-conceived character from the jump. -- Still, it's hard to believe this show gets rid of Derek but keeps Tomas. And Ashley. -- Kat needs to be alone so she has time to process everything? Uh....ok. I know it's in character for Kat to be selfish, but to this extreme? She doesn't think of anyone but herself -- not even Anita. -- The cancer storyline has been done well so far, but there's a danger with these issue storylines that they become too heavy/too much. I hope the writers navigate this properly so we don't get lectures and sadness every day. Threading that needle isn't easy. -- Leslie and Marcel hitting the sheets? Interesting, maybe, but there was nothing sexy about it. Thank you for this. Others can celebrate Lindstrom's addition to the open, but I won't. Give me Shanice or June or anybody else who isn't a white guy using POC to get rich. I despise the character.

😂 That whole round table meeting in the office was hilarious. They did nothing but talk about how wrong Katie is to use HER OWN NAME and to say her fashion house will be a failure. I mean, if that's the case, why worry about Katie at all? -- Besides, FC isn't exactly professional and smart. They get rid of Katie's huge salary but still have to cut Deke, a promising designer? -- Katie, please cut to the chase and ask Deke to join LOGAN. These episodes run under 20 minutes, and it would be nice if SOMETHING happened.

It's a stupid policy that works be changed. Why not keep the latest year's worth of episodes online? For example, when January ends, remove the episodes from the previous January. That would prevent this stupidity.

-- Such a stupid, unforced error by Paramount+ to remove all of season one, especially without even a warning. I know viewers who are a month behind and will now never see those episodes. Just ridiculous. -- Unpopular opinion, but it's been a relief to get less Leslie and Eva this week. -- I appreciate the recent turn to writing Ted as a more hands-on and better father. -- Maybe Kat should stop with the selfishness and think about how upset her grandmother will be if she refuses to get tested. -- Hayley has been beyond unlikable in the past couple episodes. -- He's still not good, but I have to admit this was Alex Alegria's best episode, period. Tomas was less robotic and more human. That's the best I can do as a compliment, because it might be a one-off. -- I like seeing new head shots in the open, but I wish I knew why Ashley and Naomi were chosen. If we get more, I'll get it. -- The ONLY thing I'd like BTG to steal from Y&R is featuring that episode's characters in the open. GH does it, too, but they include so many at such a fast pace that it's meaningless. -- Good emotional performances from many in the cast all week, but for me, Clifton Davis was the star. I felt that way even before this episode, and his last scene with Karla Mosely sealed it.

-- ANOTHER episode devoted to this insufferable Leo and Javi pairing? -- Only on soaps with writers heralding the 1950s do we hear wedding ceremonies that include "If anyone objects to this marriage, speak now or forever hold your peace." -- Including Spanish doesn't save this. -- Al Calderon (Javi) is one of the worst criers on daytime. -- Why is this ceremony 17x longer than the Paul and Andrew wedding ceremony? -- Why is Stephanie downright flabbergasted that Alex bought her a gift? Who writes this crap? -- Glad Peter Porte is back, but knowing that means more Leo ruins it. -- 44 minute episode? Way too long for what we got.

What a huge mistake to air this classic episode. All it does is remind us what we used to have and how awful the show is now. Every single thing these days screams no budget and no one caring. I forgotten how many enormous sets the show had, how many extras babe work into scenes, have a camera would do sweeps around the actors, and how much of the cast they would work into an episode in meaningful ways. Just incredible. If they put all of this online, I would gladly start watching again with shows in the early 90s and quit watching today's show completely.

-- Today's show was very well done from acting to writing to direction. -- Not surprised at all about Kat's refusal to get tested. She's brash and impulsive -- all the time -- and sometimes her decisions defy logic. She claims she wants to "live in sunshine," but I don't know how ignoring the elephant in the room leads to sunshine. -- Dani really disappointed me by going to Bill first. She's shown growth, but this is two steps back. It may seem minor in that she planned to tell her daughters minutes later, but that visit to Bill said a lot about her head space, none of it good. -- I see people are still talking about Kat's and Eva's parentage, and I hope to God they don't go there. I do not want that story.

All of it was awful. What a terrible episode to start the year. The writing is horrific, but I'm not letting Greg Rikaart off the hook, either. He plays everything in a cheeky way, and it doesn't work. It isn't cute. I love DH, but the idea that Marlena has to give Leo these lessons on love is pathetic. It's cringe to me in every way. Leo's nervousness is ridiculous. Cwikly and Ford are not working. We're stuck with them for the time being, but overall, I find the show boring and the pacing to be way off.

I agree it's intentional. Still, I think it's fair game to point out how cheap and tacky it it all looks. And hasn't Hayley said she had a designer for the house? Was this designer limited to IKEA and Target clearance?

Tessa and Daniel aren't even mentioning her sexuality, which is typical for this show, which caters to 80 year old women with blue hair. It's so afraid to say the word "gay" that it makes me sick.

The Bill and Hayley living room is especially bad. Everything looks cheap and tacky.

I have no use for M Reeves as a person, but she is Jennifer to me. I don't like Cady in the role at all. Way too mannered.

The longer this goes on, the more holes in the story. Being in the same ward is a problem. So it's all the time Rachel spends with Sophia. Are there no cameras? No supervision? No one wondering what they do together if Sophia doesn't speak? It's ridiculous. -- Couldn't EJ do a FaceTime with Sydney instead of going to Italy? I don't know why I should care about her unless there's some story coming from it. -- WAY too much Stacy Haiduk the past 2 days, especially Susan, who I wish they'd send off into the sunset. -- Glad to see Johnny's career change, but I hope they do something with Chanel's pregnancy. I hate the babies rabies stuff. Is that all she cares about? -- Leo and Javi are insufferable. I can't stand either of them. Their love affair is cheesy and cutesy and cliched in the most awful ways, and there's nothing romantic about them. Their scenes are torture, especially when Leo constantly works in his pet nicknames for other characters. -- I hope Peter is back to normal soon, because they haven't given me enough to care about him living it dying to this point.

I see problems on all the soaps, but none of them makes me angry. Y&R does. I think I'm losing it, because I actually get angry watching this sh_it. -- The only thing working is the Cane and Lily chemistry. -- Daniel and Tessa playing guitar at CL on NYE -- all alone??? And AGAIN we get the story that Mariah doesn't want to see anyone? And no, it's not story advancement that works to have gay Tessa spread her legs for Daniel. -- Kyle and Victoria spending the entire effing show talking to each other until midnight??? WTF. -- Again, it's NEW YEAR'S EVE. Adam spends it with Sally at Society where NOTHING is going on until the ball drops? Sally's not with Billy and Chelsea is in bed? Are you kidding me? This show is

NLG has made mistakes. We all know it. But you know, if there's one daytime actor I'm willing to offer grace to, it's NLG. It's not about her acting. Most of us know how good she is. She's proven time and time again to be on the right side of things and to be a good human. She cares about people, and one way she does that is by speaking out. Eventually that gets you in trouble, as it has occasionally with Nancy. Still, I'm a fan.

-- I'm happy about this Brooks vs. Katie stuff, but I fully agree that seeds of Katie still being upset about Brooke stealing Bill should have been planted for months. The truth is that should never have gone away, and we all know it did. When today's episode opened with "You stole my husband," I cringed. I'm sure it was impossible for the writers to avoid using this, but I don't like portraying Katie as if she's on some revenge tour. -- Only on B&B can you get a facile, scrubbed up picture of homelessness like we're getting. The Disney-esque PSA with stats thrown in about the homeless are really something. There's no attempt at realism, at least not as far as Dylan's wardrobe and makeup 😂 All we get is "She's been living in a car."

Same. I've complained about couples who always seem to be in the starting block and never getting anywhere, but today's show was really good -- and the couples all worked. GH has flaws, but they really pulled off the sparks and the romance, something the other soaps == especially Y&R -- cannot do.

Haven't watched today's episode yet, but yesterday's was so bad I have no words. -- Except for a couple scenes with Noah, Sharon, and Nick, every scene had only 2 people sitting or just standing there. Stultifyingly boring. -- The Crimson Lights scenes with Phyllis and Billy stuck out to me the most for their lack of energy or anything else. Except for the counter worker, not a single customer in sight. The music soundtrack was so low I'm not sure there was any. The dialogue was repetitive and all of it was DEADLY. And let's not even get into why either Phyllis or Billy would make this or any other trips to that coffee shop. -- As others have mentioned, why doesn't Phyllis just steal the AI program from Victor? Why are we hearing about what she'll get for stealing it? Just do it already, for Christ's sake. -- The "Victor Must Win" trope has always been a problem, but never more than it is now. -- Surely these actors know that what they're putting out is awful.
