  1. You are so right about all of this.
  2. I more than appreciate your comments, and I see your point in all of them. Thanks for explaining.
  3. No one voices more complaints about the show than I do, but I try to be specific about dialogue, plot, characters, etc. Maybe that's why people tolerate my complaints. Either that or they're just ignoring me. Your comments come off as really vague, though. You're unhappy with the show, but I don't have a read as to why -- just that you're not happy.
  4. Aside from wanting to see more/different characters in the open, I see nothing wrong with it. I'd also like some music cues based on the open. -- The Vernon and Anita scenes today were extremely well acted and directed. Tunie and Davis are pros. -- I also like the many family gatherings we're getting over these holidays. -- So Hayley is so busy with her grift that she has no time for any decorating? Not even a tabletop tree? -- Some individual acting/writing choices bother me, however. -- Why did Nicole give Andre a withering bitch face look when he was in sync with Dani that Vernon would never cheat on Anita? The guy can't express his opinion? -- After Nicole tore Ted up about Leslie's Vernon and Sharon news -- and dismissed it -- I don't know why she ran right to Dani's to tell her what she heard. -- In those early scenes, Hayley was WAY over-the-top showing her anger to Bill about not getting the St. Bart's property. It makes Bill look like a simp and an idiot to ignore that. I don't think that was played properly by Marquita Goings. -- Glad to see Donnell return, but I do not believe he would extend Vanessa THAT much grace to move on with her love life. His father isn't even cold in the ground and he's telling his mother to move on. -- The show also needs to do a better job if they expect us to believe Vanessa cares about her daughter. What they're doing is not working.
  5. Are we supposed to be moved/sad by these scenes with Eric? Because I'm not. This sadness over his "retirement" is ludicrous. Eric is OVER 80. Most people have been retired at least 15 years by then. Eric, take your stapler and go home.
  6. All these scenes of Kyle decorating the Christmas tree? Where the hell is Harrison??? This show is sad.
  7. Horrendous writing that makes no sense. None. I've decided I don't care about Naomi and Jacob's relationship at all. In a show that had some really good emotional moments, that stuff with the Naomi gift was childish and ridiculous. -- The Anita cancer storyline is off to a good start, but I kind of wish they held off on it until after the holidays. We could get enough emotion from the June story. -- Did Tracy really ask Vernon "Do you have a restroom"? Does she think she's in a gas station? -- Please end this Vernon/Sharon mess a.s.a.p. It's already gone on too long. -- I will forever be disappointed if Vernon doesn't sing "Never Can Say Goodbye" to Anita as a Christmas gift. It's a perfect way to milk the cancer storyline. -- I'm glad Regina was brought in, but would have preferred seeing June decorate with the tree topper. Samantha would really have said Regina was their angel? Not buying it. -- Seemed like Eva and Ted just got to the Christmas party and left 10 minutes later. -- Why was Kat of all people chosen to do the tree topper at Dani and Andre's? It's their first Christmas together, so let them do it together. -- The Cascade product placement and dialogue was HORRENDOUS. Who is writing this stuff??? -- Ted continues to be written as a complete fool and dumbass. Believing Leslie about Vernon having an affair? I feel sorry for actors when they're put through this.
  8. -- Tate did look hot, as he always does when he's shirtless. Still, I wish this broke-ass show would stop with the "I'm going to Paris for a few days" trips. -- Thank God the crypt thing is about over.
  9. -- The Cody and Molly scene and kiss at the end was the best part of the episode. It's the most chemistry I've seen between them, and it's about time GH moved when it comes to couples. -- The Gio and Emma kiss was also great. I appreciate it when screen partners make a kiss look real, meaning no pursed and closed lips. -- The Britt and Brad scenes were HORRENDOUS. How can anyone think this does ANYTHING for these characters? Why have them do something middle schoolers and lowlife criminals would do? It's not clever, it's not interesting, it's not funny. -- I still can't get over Rocco's sentence of 500 hours of community service -- FIVE HUNDRED. We all know that MURDERERS don't get that kind of punishment in Port Charles.
  10. YIKES to that clip 😂 I did watch TEXAS, but mostly for Beverlee McKinsey and for Randy Hamilton (as Rikki Decker) because he was so hot. I also thought Carla Borelli was good. I never fell in love with the show, though, and remember being pretty nonplussed when it was cancelled.
  11. I'll take him. I mean, I'll take him as a recast 😂 I've had it with Al Calderon as Javi for a while. He came off as sexy as hell when he started, but that faded. The writing didn't help, and neither did AC's acting in emotional scenes.
  12. -- Imagine not understanding that KKL is a soap icon. -- I'm happy about getting another fashion house. But like Newman vs. Abbott on Y&R, why pretend that another fashion house opening is some intense threat? Pretending this is a world where competition doesn't exist is ridiculous.
  13. Here's Francois as Cesare Borgia.
  14. Ilya's Russian monologue in ep 5.
  15. I first watched Arnaud in the Showtime drama The Borgias, where he played the sexy and diabolical Cesare Borgia. He was also in the Lifetime show UnReal.
  16. What Chaos is great and Empty Netters is even better. Just amazing.
  17. I'm not giving anything away, but these books fall into the Happily Ever After category. Queer Joy is the point of all of it.
  18. Wait until you get to episode 5. I cried for the entire hour lol.
  19. I agree. What about that L.A. warehouse set with all the trash? The one where Sharon and Nick walked in (the same) circles every day looking for Noah? But yeah, let's put up the side park set so Noah and Siena can STUPIDLY go for a walk and be alone -- while knowin their lives are in danger. So interesting that Matt showed up there (WHY???) to talk over his evil plans.
  20. I think we're not getting a scene with Britt talking about Spencer because of a typical and ridiculous soap move: Don't mention a dead/gone character because it's a mistake to remind audiences that character existed. Every soap does this, and I hate it.
  21. Yep. I praised the show for their Christmas decorations, but didn't realize half the families wouldn't be decorating at all.
  22. The wacky Britt and Brad stuff is already annoying. Not paying for dinner? Really? That's where we're going with these two? I swear these writers have no idea how to avoid making characters unlikable.
  23. Why aren't the Abbotts and Sharon still not decorated for the holidays?
  24. -- Like most of you, I hope this is long term story. There's gold to be mined here. -- Hope has her own fashion line, yet she can't even keep a designer on her team just because? -- Steffy and Ridge are insufferable, and also so stupid. No one causes more drama at FC than they do.
  25. I agree with pretty much all of this. -- Just started today's show. Ashley is better in her scenes with Shanice, but would Jan really go on a cruise over Christmas, leaving Ashley on her own? Don't buy it, and it just seems random. -- Peaches in that hospital bed wearing the oxygen mask just makes me laugh. Sorry. -- I do love the healthcare these people have that enables them to stay in a hospital bed at Garland for weeks. -- Gotta love Andre being treated like some photographer genius when all he did was touch up a photo the way a middle schooler would using an iPhone.
