  1. So Taylor told Deacon he has to leave Sheila to live his life and be happy. Don't get me wrong -- I love that this is all so outrageous. Still, she is the worst psychiatrist in existence. Her license should be revoked 😂
  2. I agree with you that Asher has charisma.
  3. -- The actress playing Charlotte is OK to me, but I think Asher Antonyzyn, who plays Danny, is limited. I can see the acting, and I don't think he's improving. Finn Carr (Rocco) is a much stronger performer. -- I still see a couples problem on GH. Almost every relationship is in some kind of limbo/purgatory area. We're teased over and over with almost no couples movement, never getting to a real relationship. I cannot believe GH does this with almost every character.
  4. -- Ashley gets a lot of time at work to flirt with guys and have conversations with exes. -- Vernon hit Bill with a lot of truth, but haven't we seen scenes between them that seemed to move past Vernon's intense anger at what Bill did? -- Dani was beyond rude to Lynette. Total mean girl. Why wasn't Lynette offended? -- Using that airport/mall coffee shop set for Dani to run into Hayley and Lynette made no sense.
  5. Let me know when they come up with that one scene.
  6. I agree with you on this. I don't want BTG to do what every other soap has done. I'd rather these tropes be turned on their heads. I know others disagree, but saying this is typical daytime just sounds like an excuse to me. I don't expect Gates to reinvent the wheel, but I also would like to avoid the cliches and do the unexpected more often.
  7. -- The writing has continually thrown Portia under the bus, but it was about time for a takedown. No one on the soaps lies more than this woman, gets caught, and then makes a dozen excuses. -- Joss is a 🤡 🤡 🤡. Her entire storyline is hilariously bad. I can't take any of it seriously, and she's actually ruined any credibility the WSB ever had.
  8. The writing for Will just makes him so empty-headed. No one can be that clueless. In other news, RJ looks superb without a shirt.
  9. I realize that. I just think it's overused on soaps, and I also don't believe that partners and spouses abide by it. Good to see Ted put his foot down, but why tell Leslie the roses were for Shanice? Shouldn't he be smarter than to give her that information? I'm with you on this. I know it's a soap, but I do not want Dani to seriously entertain Bill ever again. And again, I'll bring up the fact that Bill hasn't changed or learned anything. His "reasons" for falling out of love with Dani -- essentially blaming HER -- were pathetic. It made him look even worse to me, and I hate to see Dani give him any kind of attention. This "I have to talk with Bill because of all the cancer stuff" is ridiculous. -- I liked the inside joke when Nicole talked about Ted's change in fashion and "looking different" after their marriage broke up. -- I did not like hearing Carlton and Shanice talk about the desserts they had after their dates with Nicole and Ted. That was all kinds of off. -- I'm not sure about Naomi's cancer research. Going to the hospital to ask Shanice what she thinks about different doctors? Really? -- I think Vernon hovering over Anita and her irritation with him are being played well. However, I think it's too much, too soon when Anita has a conversation with Nicole about becoming the family matriarch.
  10. Does anyone else get tired of lawyers, doctors, and journalists all saying "You know I can't discuss that"? IRL, don't married couples share even a little???
  11. I used to salivate over Jacob Young, but the MAGA stuff turns my stomach so much. I can find dozens of other guys to drool over. BTW, Jacob looks fat in that interview with Michael Fairman. Karma.
  12. So Newman Enterprises is gone -- completely taken over by an AI program. Wouldn't this be worldwide news??? Wouldn't every significant company in the universe worry about the same thing happening to them??? I know -- "It's just a soap."
  13. Nick is hot, but he's so MAGA I just can't.
  14. -- How do they redeem Mariah after this? I guess it'll be another year in some psych ward. -- Yes, the kids playing Dominic and Harrison are adorable. Doesn't mean they can act.
  15. All are excellent, but I'll take G
  16. -- I liked Vaughan, primarily because he made Joss bearable. She's better playing off a romantic partner. Alone as a WSB agent? No. -- If the WSB is so big and powerful, why the hell would Joss have to ask Brick about cutting the power to Spoon Island? Talk about a third-rate organization. -- Involving Joss in the power grid stuff is laughable.
  17. You beat me to saying this exact thing. Your entire post is on point. What a mess from top to bottom. -- Phyllis and Billy have control of Newman, so their first order of business is to visit Victor? Not that it matters -- we won't see any business done regardless. Phyllis wants to celebrate her victory, which means doing nothing. -- Billy and Sally are in turmoil, so they decide to head to the GCAC? OK. I guess Billy's home set had to be put in storage so we could see the Chancellor mansion hallway. -- Mark Grossman has been given nothing to do as Adam for about 5 years. -- Dominic was recast and they chose this kid??? Why does this show struggle so much with child actors? Yesterday, watching Harrison play that game with Kyle and Claire was painful. I hate to bash kids, but NuDominic is really bad. -- The Mariah storyline is a DEBACLE.
  18. -- Good scenes with Andre and Hayley, but what was up with that crowd noise? All of a sudden, we're at a location with dozens and even hundreds of people around. -- Golden Corral Casino Mobster Joey is so tough. What an alpha. -- Madison should leave Chelsea already. Chelsea has one response to dealing with all her trauma, and that's drugs. Great coping, Chels. And then she asks Madison to marry her? This girl isn't mature enough to date. -- Bill is already bored with Hayley. At least it took a few years before he got bored with Dani. -- I'm perpetually amused that Vanessa thinks she's a business guru because she runs an escort service. -- I'm also amused that all of these people hiring escorts are the rich and the beautiful. Can't they find sex partners on their own? Yeah, I know -- they want it quick and easy with no emotional attachments 😂 -- I'm OK with Nicole wanting to branch out from who she's been, but GMAB with that dress. I think it goes too far into trashy mode. -- I'm sure many people thought Kat was too much (again) today, but Colby Muhammad is absolutely killing it in the role. I love to watch her work.
  19. -- The ratings are evidence that Y&R is still #1 because of old and older viewers. Their "lead" comes from the older demos, and both B&B and GH are THISCLOSE to Y&R in the 18-49 demo. I know a lead is a lead, but I don't see how anyone at the network can be happy with a show that skews "ancient." I know I sound ageist, but Y&R is lucky they have an audience that watches out of habit and tradition. -- At the same time, I am a little concerned about BTG's ratings. The last report wasn't good and showed a loss of viewers. I hope it was just a blip, but it's something to keep an eye on.
  20. -- The crossover is with Y&R. Politics brings the Restless crowd to Fairmont Crest and Vernon has asked Victor to serve as the keynote speaker for his Martin’s fundraiser. Yeah, an 84-year old will really get out the vote. -- This actually sounds like a crossover with a purpose, so I hope it plays that way. Usually, I find crossovers a colossal waste of time. -- It's good to see BTG getting this support from the (undeserved) #1 daytime drama. Will it bring eyeballs to Gates? I'm not sure. https://deadline.com/2026/01/beyond-the-gates-young-restless-crossover-episodes-cbs-1236698917/
  21. My God, this show is worse every week. Victor can't stop the slowest-moving AI program of all time, yet he's able to take all of Matt Clark's holdings and give it all to Sienna and Noah. I hate myself for watching this sh|t.
  22. Another boring show today. -- The baby story with Johnny and Chanel is so bad. Just deadly boring. No one cares about her baby rabies. -- Now Dimitri has joined EJ in the as$hole column. -- Cat has been chem-tested with everyone in town. -- Kristen needs to move away. For good.
  23. -- This show's fascination with Stephen A. continues to baffle me. -- So does Joss the Spy. -- Frank does good things on this show, but he sabotages himself and the show with terrible choices. -- And don't get me started on Britt.
  24. I didn't find it too explicit. That's not why I didn't like the scene. I realize it's probably an unpopular opinion on this board. If others liked it, that's great.
