-- Leslie's "Keep your hands off my man" diatribe to Shanice shows how unhinged she is. I mean, the woman is nuts. Every time the show tries to show us a more real and genuine side of Leslie, she bounces back with the total whack job. -- So plastic surgeon Ted got Peaches into a special trial. Yeah, OK 😂 It's good, though, that old woman Peaches doesn't have a wrinkle anywhere, including on her neck. -- Thank God for Shanice, because the medical and hospital stuff on this show is poorly done. -- Martin is a self-righteous, sanctimonious hypocrite. After all he's been through, taking sides like this with Eva is pathetic. Of course, Eva just sits there quietly, playing the innocent victim. What a SPOILT BITCH 😂🤣 -- Hey, Martin -- and Ted -- the way to make Eva a part of the family is not trashing the other sister and daughter, throwing her under the bus. -- I know Kat goes too far with her mouth, but no one else holds Eva accountable. No one else calls her out on anything. -- Good honeymoon scenes with Dani and Andre so we can see how they're really falling for each other, but I hope they're out of that hotel room tomorrow. They've milked that enough.

Production values were solid today, but it was overdone with everyone and their mother running around and through the beach grass looking for Luna with their phone flashlights. I started to LOL after a while. And where in the hell did that car come from at the end that hit Luna? 😂

That doesn't answer my question, which is about the BREAKDOWN. I know the problems with Carlivati's and Giddens when it comes to story and even with dialogue. What does that have to do with their breakdown work at GATES? I'll add that I enjoyed Ambitions and think it deserved another season. It was campy and over-the-top and entertaining, with a great looking cast.

Lisa Yamada has been great as Luna, but 2 days of this is a lot.

I'll ask you since I can't get a response from the poster who continually complains about the breakdowns from Carlivati and Giddens. Just what is wrong with those breakdowns? Why do their episodes need to be saved by the script writer? I'm not trying to be difficult. I really don't get it. 😂 Exactly what I thought. Leslie entered that hospital room and CONFRONTED Peaches. No loving concern, no warmth. I guess that's an intentional choice, but YIKES. It doesn't help that the Peaches casting is so off -- a young woman wearing a Marla Gibbs wig, pretending she's old and dying as she hacks away in a hospital bed. The room itself makes me laugh, too. This patient is in dire straights, yet there's a solid door on the room that stays closed so no one can hear her or see her. I am DYING! 🤣

Yesterday it was Theo and Jada. Today it's Chad and Belle. What a mess.

You're probably right, but it's such a mistake to have Dani return to Bill. I do not want that. I like Bill, but that's probably because he's so much better than his garbage wife. Having Dani take back the guy who NEVER stopped cheating on her during their marriage would be a terrible mistake. Yes, it's a mistake I can see Dani making. That doesn't mean I want to see it.

-- It's always amazing to me that these "terrible breakdowns" (by writers so bad they shall not be named) are saved by incredible script writers. Every time 😂 -- Kat is a "spoilt bitch" while Eva isn't??? -- Does Kat go too far with her mouth? Absolutely. But I get it. Eva has done some terrible things and continues to enable her criminal mother while Kat's family and boyfriend DEFEND her and show her love. -- Eva's complaints about Leslie are meaningless, because they're never backed up with anything. I'll take "spoilt bitch" any day before I take "criminal enabling hoe." -- It's nice that Martin accepts Eva, but the way he's handling it is eye-rolling. Eva gets hugs and smiles and full acceptance while Kat is trashed -- to Eva's face. -- Martin is STILL obsessing over the Kat conversation about sex that Samantha heard. Are you kidding me with this? And now Eva offers to speak to Kat. Yeah, very cute that the sister who screwed the other sister's boyfriend is the one with relationship advice. -- The food at Uptown looked pretty good today. Orphey Gene's food has yet to impress me, and I think it's clear that the country club chef is an alcoholic who cannot control his kitchen.

You know what's crazy? Even though JFP ultimately has been a disaster at many soaps, and even though all the negatives about her are true, I'd still prefer her over Josh Griffith at Y&R. She can take over for him anytime, and I will applaud.

The Dalton story reeks of 10 rewrites.

-- Jesus, that was bad. -- If we're going to bash Will's face-making, we can't let Luna off the hook. All that scrunched-face crying was annoying. -- Still no explanation as to how Luna escape, leading to utter stupidity that she gets away AGAIN while Will just stands there. -- Meanwhile, the entire cast hilariously gets texts about the jail escape and heads to the beach house. 😂

Since Mansi did direct, I think it puts the lie to those who say Frank V doesn't like her and would like to get rid of her.

I realize I harp on this, but I think he spending is relevant. She's not just buying new wigs. She's building a mansion, she's funding a sports complex, she's paying for operations for people she doesn't know, she's caring for Peaches, she's buying apartments. We saw ?her get ONE check for ONE million dollars. That's it. I may be wrong, but I thought they said she'd get a payment every 6 months. Regardless, she could not rule the roost on $1M, and the show is not doing a good job there. Pretending that doesn't matter? I can't do that. All they had to do was add a couple lines about payouts and payments. In other news, I would love to know just how much Anita was putting into that trust as well as what investment got her what has to be an incredible return. 😂

-- I love a good build, and the show has made me look forward to Winterfest. But some things seem so forced. -- For example, the Vernon/Sharon meetups. GMAB. It's so obvious what this is and they're playing it too hard for too long. I think one purpose is to make Leslie look like a fool, but it's hard to take. Is the tour over for Sharon? Does she sit in the hotel room all day long waiting for Vernon? Is he paying her bills? It's dumb. -- Leslie is an awful human. I don't think she gives a rat's ass about Peaches. She cares more about Eva's sex life. -- Izaiah and Eva have nice chemistry, but their conversation seemed forced to me. Didn't sound like first date dialogue and was too on the nose. -- Shanice was great in taking down Leslie. I'm so glad the writing didn't have Leslie land the biggest smackdown. Dr. Wilkes was also great. -- Again, Leslie is spending like she's worth a bajillion dollars. This has to be written for laughs. -- I've done a complete turnaround on June. I now think she's a great addition. -- Martin and Smitty are so concerned that Tyrell learn about Banneker that they call in a guy who started work there this week? 😂 -- Tyrell is so much more mature than Samantha. I hate the way she treats him and talks about him in front of others. She really sat there and asked Jessica why she's even with Tyrell. Samantha is pathetic. Screenshot time: -- If I can get Fish & Fries at Orphey Gene's for $5, why is a glass of juice $4 ? -- That Mr & Mr sign at Martin and Smitty's is beyond lame and tacky.

-- I know the budget is a huge problem. Still, although I love all the returns, I wish the show did a better job with why they're all back one day and gone the next. -- The 60th celebration at the Square was fine, but also odd. When speeches were made, the crowd and speaker were never in the same camera shot. Felt like the speeches were taped separately and inserted. -- The speeches themselves were nothing special. I wanted words that really pulled at the heartstrings, but didn't get it. -- Paulina's speech was particularly bad, with a really weird delivery by Jackee.

-- Jan tells Mona what a good friend Leslie once was with them. I have a hard time picturing it. -- I thought the country club was for the rich and powerful. Leslie had to pay for a sports complex to get in. So why is izaiah walking around like a regular? -- I like the Izaiah actor, but I'm not sure the role was cast properly. Nothing about him says bad boy, nothing says danger. -- Get Tomas off my screen. When Kat first sat with him, he was still annoyed with her treatment of Eva. Are you kidding me? Kat needs to dump this POS yesterday. -- Alex Alegria stays terrible at his job. -- Eva told Izaiah she tried distancing herself from Tomas for Kat's sake. She's a liar like her mother. -- Ending the show with Eva leaving with Izaiah instead of Peaches' phone call to Leslie was head-scratching.

-- The Laura/Dalton scenes would have been much more effective if we got ONE long scene, or two at most. Instead, we got 3 short scenes that diminished the impact of all of it. -- Today was "Let's Have Dante Act Like An Ass_Hole To Gio So We Can Introduce Even More Conflict Between Them Instead Of Having Him Act Like a Real Parent."
