  1. It's a shame Harrison didn't get any full-size candy bars for Halloween.
  2. -- Anita doesn't need to attach Barbara's name to everything as a reminder she thinks of her. If anything, it comes off as performative. -- So Madison went to Nicole to discuss Chelsea? Uh ... Isn't this hypocrisy in action? Madison has every right to be angry about Chelsea contacting her mother, but doing the same thing behind Chelsea's back is a choice. -- Hilarious to watch Bill purchase a beachfront property in St. Bart's in about 15 minutes. Those Internet pics must have been fire. -- The broken penis stuff doesn't land at all because the guy with the busted dick can't act. At all. -- Ted has turned into a joke. Now he's hugging Leslie in the open at his place of work? What an idiot. -- Don't know why Eva is so surprised and upset that Isaiah didn't tell her he's a Hawthorne. Did she go into detail about what a criminal loon her mother is? He owed her none of that when they met. -- The previews look really good.
  3. Exactly. This makes me so angry. Why is Remy even visiting Luna? Why hasn't he discussed all of this with Deke? NONE of it makes any sense. Knowing this show, Remy will be gone in short order and Deke will realize he's bisexual and prefers hot female models at Forrester.
  4. Thanks. I watched the video after @carolineg sent the link to me. That scene was as bad as I heard it was, and Jeremy came off as completely out of control. Hard to believe some people online are saying "It wasn't that bad" and that Stephanie shared the blame for arguing with Jeremy.
  5. Does anyone have a link to the Jeremy/Stephanie scene where he held her underwater? Facebook posters claim they've watched the scene on You Tube, but no matter what I search for there or on Google, I cannot find it.
  6. I rolled my eyes when Ted told Eva she's a part of the family now and he wants er to be more involved with everyone and everything. Like, what? Ted, you ignorant fool, this is not your choice. YOU don't get to decide how involved Eva gets with "the family." I swear this man fell off the turnip truck. And don't get me started about Ted spending no time with his other children, Kat and Martin.
  7. -- Today's episode is a big no for me. I'm starting to think Sara Bibel is a problem. -- Leslie just walked right into Nicole's living room? And they entertained her nonsense? I get it that Nicole vs Leslie can be good drama, but let's make it real. -- And what's up with Vernon and Nicole watching the horror movie? Where the hell was Anita? -- Ted and Leslie at Uptown is another no. I realize Ted & Leslie have a fan club, but she just blew up his life. So what's he do? Sleeps with her again and then tells her he wants to get back to their "beautiful friendship." GMAB. If they wanted to end Ted and Nicole, they needed to do better than this. -- Why was Nathan at Orphey Gene's? Yeah, I know, to run into Tyrell. But it made no sense that Nathan would be that foul when talking about having sex with Samantha. I don't believe he'd be that stupid. All they needed was to have Tyrell and Jessica overhear Nathan having a conversation with a friend in another booth. -- Nathan's on the football team and his costume is...a football uniform? I hope the show does better tomorrow with the Halloween stuff. -- The Ashley and Derek wedding outfits? Did not land. I don't think that was clever or funny, but I do think Ashley was as painful to watch and listen to as usual. And why were they sitting at some corner table somewhere? -- Yesterday's dialogue in the Martin/Smitty/Samantha scenes played better to me. Today they eeemed robotic. I wanted the discussion to be real, but it came off as "Let's make sure we hit these plot points." -- Vernon told Martin and Smitty to "lead with love" when it came to Samantha. Sorry, when your 16-year old is ready to bang on the sofa and when you find a condom, it's hard to lead with the love Vernon is talking about. I'd appreciate hearing about tough love -- and not comparing Samantha to his daughter Dani, who he could never control.
  8. All of that would be so much more interesting than light stuff like this insipid Halloween tour.
  9. So Roger Howarth is playing Matt Clark. I know RH is a big name, but this would have played so much better if they were able to get back Eddie Cibrian.
  10. So Jack's talking about all of Jabot's files being moved to another hard drive. Josh Griffith never heard of the cloud, apparently.
  11. LOL Yep. They have Samantha saying how mature she is while having her blame Kat (who's also her employer) and having her utter lines like "I thought you always taught me 'My body, my choice.'" This girl is seriously messed in the head.
  12. I'll take all 3.
  13. -- Why does Amy Choi have this much power and control over where her grandchild lands? -- The Halloween Tour stuff was so bad.
  14. I know I'm repeating myself, but this book stuff (Wuthering Heights, the bookstore, Stephanie the author) is DREADFUL. It's not 2025 soap, at least not as it's being used. It reeks and it creaks. There's no life in any of it.
  15. Portia never learns. She talks to Curtis about her pregnancy and never mentions he might not be the father.
  16. I think those booths at Uptown would be off limits to anyone 6' tall or over 160 lbs.
  17. -- This little Beth actress is pretty good, but I think we're overdosing on her already. -- Why are we getting all these scenes with Li and Sheila? In no universe would those two be talking buddies. -- Carter was even more lethargic than usual today. He was practically somnambulant.
  18. Well said. Excellent point.
  19. Really good question, and I'm not sure of the answer. But if she's supposed to be rootable, for me it's an epic fail. If she really wants to be with Joey, why? Is it his money? Because a high-powered realtor would be making 6 figures. Is it power? She should have enough power selling mansions, and she was part of a power couple when Doug was alive. Is this a ruse to take Joey down? Again, why? And does she have to have "mind-blowing orgasms" to do that? Vanessa didn't care about Doug and she doesn't give a damn about her children. From the first week of this show, she's been nothing but an easy lay with no class. At least Diego was hot. Now she's horny for Golden Corral Casino Mobster Joey??? Embarrassing.
  20. I'm not. I understand it. I can only imagine the betrayal felt by a Black man who was confronted that way by his very good white friend. Yeah, this show continually mistreats Brandon Beemer, and it's a shame. I think he's a solid soap actor. Exactly. No follow-up at all. Don't do those story beats if you can't follow up. The Julie bookstore story continues to be problematic to me. On the surface, it brings a new gathering place and gives SSH something to do. But they're making a mess of it. -- That set does not look like a bookstore, but like a law library in some old home. What's with all the (clearly fake) books looking like they're in sets and lined up for sale? What's with the patrons always walking around and paging through books? No one seems to buy anything. -- Why in the hell would Julie launch the Anastasia Sands novel in the first place? Does that book represent her or her clientele? -- Stephanie already has a 2nd book? Do these writers understand book releases? -- Hank Northrop had a good first appearance, but would Abe mentor his reading from a table in the middle of the bookstore? -- Sthpanie is working my last nerve with her attitude towards Jeremy.
  21. Kin complains constantly. That's no way to keep a job. Years ago, Scotty was a good character and Kin did a great job. The last 10 years have been filled with over-the-top performances by a guy who looks like a lawnmower ran over his head. -- These writers better give us a reason that Ronnie signed that fake will in the first place. If it's not a good one (or if they don't give us one) this story goes down as a dud.
  22. I realize the purpose of your post, and I didn't read it as a criticism of Jamey. I appreciate the points you made. -- Vanessa said Golden Corral Casino Mobster Joey is the best sex she ever had??? GAG ME. This woman (who is for the streets) buried her husband 2 weeks ago and already she's talking about slippery and slimy sex with an old man? She's trash. -- Why are Joey and Elon discussing mob business with the door open to that dusty and pathetic casino back room? -- I understand why Eva has a hard time distancing herself from her mother. Today, though, she again made a speech (to Izaiah) about Leslie and how she rejects all of that and wants to be better. The problem is (so far, at least) that Eva continually enables and defends Leslie, never holding her accountable for anything.
  23. I understand the rap on Jamey Giddens by his detractors. I know what he's been accused of, and I personally agree with enough of those criticisms to make me wary of him. However, that doesn't answer my question about his breakdowns on BTG. If he's going to be criticized, make clear what you're criticizing. A drive-by bashing the guy -- without even one example -- is not the way to go. Did we get camp, comedy, or over-the-top storylines yesterdy or today? Did we get very short, chopped-up scenes? I didn't see any of that. I haven't yet watched today's show, but I did complain a lot about yesterday's show regarding the execution of the plot. My problem was much more about the dialogue throughout the show rather than the scenes themselves.
