I don't agree. I think that, when she was a young woman, she was simply trying to make money at her day job and was worried that her clients would diss her for being a soap actress. She wasn't dissing soaps. She was talking about how *other* people diss soaps. She needed to pay bills, so she needed to keep her day job. Also, she was invited on the show to talk about Latino voters. She wasn't expecting to be shown a soap clip, and I think it threw her off for a minute. This wasn't an interview about the entertainment business. This was supposed to be a serious political interview.

EB took it out of context. This is what Eva Longoria *actually* said. She wasn't putting down soaps at all. She was talking about needing to keep her day job, that's all. And this is how Braeden misinterpreted and overreacted:

Yeah teenage Miriam Parrish played Jamie Caldwell (Sami Brady's best friend). RKK got fired for being with Parrish. He and Parrish got married and had kids. She did an interview in one of the soap mags (SID or SOD) in the early 2010s. She said she had eventually divorced RKK and was living in the midwest working in a law office. When she gave the interview, (or maybe in a different interview a year later), I think she had recently remarried and had just started acting again, at a local theater. She didn't say anything personal about RKK. It was strictly a professional interview. I think that, at one point, RKK was living on the east coast doing construction or something? (This was probably before he reappeared on GH)

A few actors might have attended without being in the formal red carpet photos. Sometimes, at large events like this, some invitees skip the red carpet. They just walk in and start mingling with old friends. All the crew were there and some former crew - and I don't think they were on the red carpet? I saw some pics of the hair-and-makeup crew, for example. At events like these - you can find lots of fun pics of individuals and small groups via social media.

Current pics of Barbara Crampton - She really does look amazing! BTS pic of Sharon Case and Barbara Crampton (Leanna) at GCAC. This is NEW - from mid-February 2023 - it's a screengrab from a Lauralee Bell instagram video -- the cast were dancing around on sets in between scenes while filming the gala episodes. Barbara Crampton (Leanna) publicity pic in wardrobe for the gala this coming week. A lot of the cast have new publicity photos in gala attire with this garish orange background.

FYI -- it's an OLD PICTURE - The pic of Barbara C (Leanna) with short hair and a gold jacket - is from long ago. The Griffith interview had lots of old pictures inside it. The mag must not have been paying attention, putting a new caption on an old photo.

It happened exactly as you described. I kept thinking I must have a device glitch, or I need coffee! But then I saw your post, and then I noticed comments about this on twitter. It's possible some viewers may have assumed the episode was over, and stopped watching when the "glitch-credits" began displaying, I sure hope that didn't happen, but who knows. If anyone stopped watching, they would have missed that important Megan/Bo/Kate scene at the end.
