FYI this Feb. 4, 1993 episode would air on Global-Canada on Wed. Nov. 22. In USA it airs Thurs. Nov. 23 after the Thanksgiving Day parade in most timezones. But be aware: In the Pacific timezone the parade will override Y&R in some markets. Also your local community might have special Thanksgiving events televised that override Y&R. You can try to find it on another channel or on CBS.com or paramount plus that evening. I suggest grabbing it off the Global website if you can, just in case your local channel in the USA doesn't carry it.

Traci got uncharacteristically nasty! Then after Traci left, a puzzle piece arrived in Lauren's mail but Lauren seemed totally puzzled about the puzzle. Traci tells Lauren I'm a successful author with a great man and you Lauren have an empty marriage and an empty life and then Traci throws in Lauren's face this "you even have to sue for custody of your child!" I had never seen this episode until just now, and never in all my life have I seen Traci that way!

I just watched it. Victoria is having sexual issues and is seeing a therapist who suggested she stay with her mother for a few days. That's why Ryan was alone and took himself out to dinner and encountered Nina. Ryan and Nina dance at Gina's. Nina wants him to stay longer but Ryan says "that wouldn't be prudent". Victor lives in an apartment. Victor's secretary Connie warns him on the phone that Eve is coming. Victor tells Douglas Austin about his past history with Eve. Eve tells Victor she has a photo of their grown son but she won't show it to him. She leaves when he doesn't believe her. Nikki is married to Jack and is pregnant and the baby kicks. Nicholas is a little boy and is worried about why his big sister Victoria is home.

I think they suddenly brought back Vail Bloom as Heather first to take over as Phyllis' attorney when CLB took leave for cancer treatment; and I speculate that they kept her on because of Christel Khalil eventually taking maternity leave. Lucy has so many connections in town and I think the actress Lily Brooks O'Briant does a good job, and would be great if Griffith actually *wrote* a teen storyline but ... he probably won't. I don't know if they'll ever address that Lucy's biomom was Daisy and her biograndmother is Sheila. I'm fine with Heather being the stepmom who raised Lucy, and Phyllis being the annoying grandmother, LOL.

Dimitri went to the hospital first with the baby, as Leo directed him to do... but then as he arrived he saw Rafe there and was afraid of being arrested so he quickly left without being seen. I have no idea why Dimitri brought the baby to Sloan's place. Maybe Dimitri knows that Sloan is Leo's lawyer? Maybe that's why he brings her the baby? He probably knows that Sloan can handle shady situations. He might not even know that Sloan was planning to adopt, unless he heard Nicole and EJ discussing things at the DiMansion before he was kicked out. Clearly Dimitri just wants a way out of Salem and doesn't care about the health of the premature baby.

omg @depboy your recaps of November and December 1973 from 50 years ago -- these characters Gordon Grey and Florence Gray. Gordon is Laura Webber Collins' biological father. And Gordon Grey and Florence Gray are the parents of present-day characters Martin Grey and Cyrus Renault. I didn't know that Gordon and Florence were part of an actual storyline from 50 years ago. I was watching every day after school. But if I missed something, there was no internet and I had no access to soap magazines, so I often missed parts of storylines, or I completely forgot that some characters existed. And now we get to see the recaps of this. Cool! Fifty years ago!
