I never watched the prior Brook Lynn actresses, except for Briana Lane's brief stint. So I'm primarily familiar with Amanda's Brook Lynn. I did watch Lois and Ned decades ago when they first met and he was Eddie Maine. I do remember Lois wanting honesty and feeling weird about Quartermaine nonsense. I don't remember the details because I was watching it on live broadcast and it was so long ago, but I do remember in general what their characterizations were back then, (and that Wally was hot back then). There were many years I didn't watch GH at all because I objected to the mobster stuff. So I have missed a lot.

Thanks again for posting. (ugh to the idea, but thanks for finding it). There's a discussion now on the BillyFlynn thread "DAYS/Y&R: Casting Shocker!!" See page eight of that thread and following pages. I posted more over there since it seems Flynn will debut this summer, and I realized some of Mishael Morgan's interview is relevant to the Dumas reveal.

May 16th interview with Cherie Jimenez. 30 minutes long. (for returning viewers, she's the current Gabi -- mother of Will&Sonny's daughter Arianna. Cherie has been airing since June 2024). This was previously was posted on the spoiler thread because it mentioned the casting of Marissa Reyes as SORASed Arianna Horton, and the recent scene where Gabi noticed Arianna wasn't in her room. Now that all of this has aired, I'm bringing it over to the main thread, as there are no spoilers anymore. Cherie is 37, almost 38. Marissa is 21, playing an 18-year-old. (Actor ages per https://jason47.com/days/castbios3.html) Cherie is aware that she and Marissa look more like sisters than mother/daughter. Interestingly, Cherie said that in real life, her own mother was a teen when Cherie was born, and that people commonly mistake Cherie and her mom as sisters. Most of the interview is about Cherie as Gabi, getting cast, working with Brandon Barash, working with Casey Moss.

I just read a new post where PersonB was quoting personA and I wanted to comment on the post so I started to quote ... with I myself as the PersonC. I tried to quote what PersonB quoted from PersonA. It should have been attributed to PersonA, but before submitting the post, I checked to see how it would display, and it automatically misatributed PersonA's words to PersonB. So I didn't click to submit the post. So yes this is an ongoing glitch. I will need to take the time to go back and find the original post from PersonA to quote that.

I posted this on the Mishael Morgan thread ("Y&R: Former actor returning for guest stint"). I'll add it here, too, since it relates to Billy Flynn and Aristotle Dumas: Mishael Morgan interview with Jeevan Brar of Canadian site "thetvwatercooler.com". Uploaded May 20, 2025. She said she went home to Toronto for the Victoria Day Canadian holiday long weekend, but was back in L.A., implying that she was still taping Y&R. When asked if she has taped with Billy Flynn, she said yes but gave no details. At the end of the interview she says there is a party coming up for the Dumas reveal, they built a whole new set for it, it's going to be fun and very beautiful.

My thoughts/speculations/wonderings... Billy Flynn isn't Australian, so how could he be playing Cane? (yes I know JoshGriffith rarely make sense). I know nothing. But I'm not convinced that Dumas is actually Cane. It's theoretically possible that Cane is working with Dumas, or working against Dumas. *Maybe* they're the same person? But it just doesn't make sense to me. I just don't know if Cane and Dumas are two different characters who will both debut at the same time with two different actors playing recast Cane and new character Dumas? Or if they are the same person played by one actor. It does seem plausible that Cane would be written as plotting about Chancellor and about Winters, since Cane pretended to be Jill's son and because Lily divorced his lying a.ss. But I don't believe Victor Newman would be ranting about Dumas if Dumas is Cane. Why would Victor care about Cane? I mean, Nikki is running Chancellor and Victor would want that protected, but wouldn't Victor view Cane as being unworthy of notice? Billy Flynn was filming Days into part of April. The Y&R episodes that aired recently were filmed around April 8th, based on behind-the-scenes pics. So that would fit for Flynn to first appear on Y&R onscreen at end of May or in early June. (whoever his Y&R character is) The original Billy Flynn casting announcement says "he will debut later this spring in a newly created role." https://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/casting-shock-days-star-billy-flynn-heads-to-young-and-restless/ A newly created role. That doesn't say recast. Unless that's subterfuge. (I just edited this post a bunch of times, thinking aloud, trying to make it make sense, LOL. I'm sure I'll be proven wrong about all my speculations, but whatever) I just don't want smarmy Cane back.

(credit to @dragonflies for finding the tweet) Here is why the rumor is back... From a group of French Y&R viewers, (Y&R is called "Les Feux de l'Amour" in France), they are active on social media. May 21, 2025, they said on their twitter and facebook pages that there is a *RUMOR* that Aristotle Dumas is a pseudonym for Cane Ashby, and thus Billy Flynn is playing Dumas who is actually Cane. Now on May 28, they tweeted this screenshot from the IG stories of Y&R costume designer Mandi Lane. Wardrobe hanger labeled with a character name starts with "CA". I just watched today (U.S Wednesday) episode. I love the Chelsea/Dani scenes. Dani was way over the top; but Chelsea was the voice of reason trying to stop Dani from being so extra. Every time Dani said the ridiculous dramatic thing, Chelsea was trying to calm her down, to be reasonable. See, in this episode, Dani wasn't the star, Chelsea was the star with her calming presence. I felt like the show itself was acknowledging that Dani is too much - she is who she is -- not a villain, but not a heroine either. This feels (to me) like a change from three months ago when BTG began. At the beginning of BTG, I thought we were being told to root for Dani. Now it's not that. So I'm team Chelsea today.

Interesting. Does CHCH have this as an arrangement? Or is CBS unaware that that CHCH didn't preempt for Memorial Day, and is still ahead?

Christie said in her interview this week -- that before taping this, she had recently started taking acting classes again, and had been doing some work in England, so that helped her to jump into Carrie for this (as well as it being all so familiar, it really was home.)

Town square stairs: Nicole claimed that Jennifer pushed her but actually Nicole simply fell. (I think? ? ? ) . Nicole claimed that the fall caused her miscarriage but actually she had just miscarried before the fall. (I think? ? ?) Jennifer fell off the balcony from the Bistro or from just outside the Bistro (Bistro was on second floor at that time), and that fall put Jennifer in the coma during the timejump year. Gwen was involved in a fall storyline but I try to forget about Gwen, so I don't remember anything about it.

It was Muldoon's Austin and Mansi's Abigail. I remember Muldoon and Mansi chatting on social media with one another as friends for a while afterwards.
