  1. I liked that set too. So many characters lived there over the time that it was featured, but then it just suddenly disappeared.
  2. Lol just spreading a little optimism
  3. He'll find his way to you someday! 😂
  4. I heard that story. Some of the tapes might even still be down there lol. I'm sure there are kinescopes somewhere out there that managed to survive being wiped. With any luck, someone will find some more pre-1979 AW episodes and post them.
  5. I'll never understand how execs. at that time actually thought that no one would ever want to see old episodes again and got rid of them. Not even just with soaps, but game shows and primetime shows as well.
  6. Everyone today is talking about Star Wars, but me, I'm talking about Another World 😂😂😂
  7. Best James Bond theme ever
  8. We'll see what happens. I sometimes think that Peter is still going to be around for a while, but then I remember all the other characters (Nelle, Julian, Dev, etc.) that were killed off before their big secrets were revealed, and I can't help wonder if that may happen with Peter as well.
  9. Sometimes it almost seems like Dan writes his own storylines and Chris writes his own. Instead of the two of them collaborating on everything in the show as a whole, they each have their own stuff to work on, separate from each other, which is why some storylines seem well plotted out (Sonny/Nina, Michael/Chase/Willow) while others are messy (Peter, Cyrus). And agreed on MEK. It still feels like they don't know what to do with him. But I do want to try some hummingbird cake lol he would've been better off as Jeff Webber.
  10. Lemay swore up and down that he wasn't inspired by Watergate and it was just a coincidence that the storyline took place at the same time. Regardless, it did give AW stronger ratings.
  11. Agreed. Peter and Cyrus are still being shoved down our throats, but overall there have been several improvements these past few weeks. There's been movement in most of the storylines.
  12. I've been liking the way that Carly's been written too. Like or not, this is the way Carly is. Overprotective, sometimes meddlesome, enables people and sometimes gets enabled herself. But also very tough and can handle herself against anybody or anything. Carly vs Britt would be fun to see. Same as Carly vs Nina. They're both people that she can go head to head with.
  13. Idk I don't remember there being a Carrington family fortune by the time Texas debuted. I could be wrong though. But I do know that when Mac died, Dennis did receive an inheritance.
  14. Elliot was held prisoner in Cambodia by the Khmers. On AW, they said that he died, but then he was revealed to be alive a year later on Texas.
  15. IIRC, Elliot was pursuing Iris when she went to San Tropez and met Alex. But then when Alex disappeared after their weekend together and Iris found out she was pregnant, she charmed Elliot, and married him.
  16. Never heard this version before. It's pretty good. I'm a big fan of 80s music too
  17. Imagine how hard it must've been to keep up with everything. And, although it wasn't competing in the same time slot, it was also the same day that Don and Marlena got married on Days.
  18. That is true. We did see this storyline coming from the very beginning, but it actually seems well plotted out unlike the Cyrus storyline. If they just build it up to the right time, and not drag it out longer than they should, the big reveal and payoff will be great to see.
