See ya Vinny! Yes, the acting needed some work lol but like with so many soaps, another character with massive potential was wasted. And the chemistry that he had with Matthew Atkinson was off the charts. A drunken, spontaneous Thomas/Vinny hookup and aftermath of it would have been an interesting, character driven storyline and much better to see then the doll stuff. I'm sure we'll all miss seeing him 😂😂 I hate to make fun, but you're right. This dude's the biggest bitch I've ever seen 😂 How two women continue to fight over him, I'll never understand

Agreed. It does seem like the "B" in LGBTQ is the one that gets forgotten, which sucks. Days had their chance. Evan could have been a groundbreaking character, and he was completely destroyed by a writer who if you ask me has a problem with bisexuality. The same could be said for Charlie, who I do believe would not have been written so irredeemably or possibly even been redeemed if his portrayer was straight (or gay) IMO, a bisexual love triangle is the shot in the arm that soaps need. It's something new and original and that's always a good thing for soaps. And honestly, with the chemistry that some male actors/characters have been having with one another lately (Michael/Chase, Thomas/Vinny, Cam/Dev), now would be the right time to finally say the hell with it and actually write it in.

Well, it's not the first time Frank's hired a name to get people watching. The only way for him to work, IMO, and not go the way of Michelle Stafford or Elizabeth Hendrickson, is to bring him in as a recast, and not some new character that nobody cares about.

Yeah. L. Virginia Browne became head writer in December 1980, so she was there when the strike happened. I think Corinne Jacker was the one who wrote the show during the strike.

This all took place around like 71-73 Susan blocked it out because she was "sexually frigid", and her encounter with Eric brought up a lot of bad memories of David, and everything that happened to her (sleeping with him, getting pregnant, her baby dying, killing David, etc.)

Yeah. With Greg and Eric Peters. Eric was the jealous younger brother and he wrote a book titled “In My Brother’s Shadow” They got involved in a triangle over Susan, who had random sex in the park one night with Eric. She then blocked it out, cried rape, then found out she was pregnant. Greg was her doctor and they began dating. When she met Eric, she realized that he was the father of her baby and her “rapist”. Through hypnosis, she realized that the sex in the park was actually consensual. Eventually it all came out and her and Eric ended up together. While that was happening was when Eric wrote his book, which included a chapter about that night in the park with Susan.

Same here. I've always liked William Lipton but he needs some work on playing angry lol. Josslyn sounding and acting like Carly today was actually better than I thought it would be. But again, with their scenes, I felt that the writers seemed to hold back and not let Cam and Joss go all out in their fight. I was hoping for Cam to call Joss an enabler, or brainwashed or something lol and for Joss through Franco's past in Cam's face. And, are they really going to go there with Finn and Liz?

Yeah, it's like they tried to make her look younger but they messed up lol I thought it was a pretty good episode overall though. I don't, for a second, think that Tripp is guilty and Mike Manning deserves an Emmy for sure

Don't have much to say about the April Fool's episode. I didn't hate it, but, same as last year, I feel that it's just unnecessary. Days is the only soap that pretty much since that hasn't changed since they came back from the shutdown. Honestly, I think that's very brave of them
