  1. I never saw much of her on PC (and think she ended up with William deVry which, oof) but I always was fond of Rebecca Staab from Dark Shadows '91 and a bunch of other things she used to pop up in. I'm glad she's still working and I was pleased to see her pop up there.
  2. They're not, and it's not. We don't allow those sources.
  3. The Chi is on its way out and not hugely prominent. YJ is a genre show first and foremost and likely has one more season to it. Any specific show aside: Paramount/Skydance has proven they will do anything to curry favor with Trump and the right, and you should expect more of the same.
  4. Frankly I still think they're key to helping Peacock stay afloat in the streaming crash. Soaps are consistently underestimated for that.
  5. Another exciting Tour of Llanview opening where I don't know who half the !@#$%^&*]in' people are. Is that not Steve Holden?
  6. Given the ongoing dumpster fire that has been this merger there is no guarantee Paramount (let alone Skydance) was thinking that far ahead, frankly. There are a lot of shows being canned or scrapped due to preemptive submission to fears of "too much DEI". You see it these days being hurled at virtually any project featuring women or people of color/LGBT in leading roles.
  7. No clue if he's still in the role over there, but Cary Christopher (Thomas DiMera, DAYS) has a prominent role in Zach Cregger's Weapons.
  8. It doesn't take a good insider to predict that Michael would be recast when the previous actor left the show. Again, this is basic deduction. These sites are known trash and need to not be cited as credible.
  9. This 'recast Sasha' thing literally only came from people speculating on forums like this one. Then it gets spun up into a "rumor" and hack websites or YT accounts like this pick it up for clicks. Most of the stuff you see circulate like that is total horseshit. It doesn't take any kind of insider to guess that Natalia or Sasha would be written out, or to say that yes, two deceased actors would have their characters killed off or that the dull Brennan/Carly pairing would end. That's just basic deduction.
  10. Lord. Obrecht the bioterrorist and embryo thief can get bent. Neither she nor Britt ever had any claim to that baby. I am sure this will resolve in the end with Lulu, Dante and their son closer together but I wish GH would not tread on this 'Britt's the real mother!' territory even for short-term drama, as it's too close to the weird conservative bent they often take with any and all pregnancy stories.
  11. Making Drew Shiloh or some other villain would be the dumbest possible thing they could do right now, so there's a 50% chance they'll do it.
  12. I can't remember if Crimson's even been mentioned since last year. I know Drew brought Nina back onto it when Mulcahey started playing them together.
  13. That does seem rather calculated to keep the crew (and studio) together. Good for her.
  14. Did anyone know Jessica Collins (LOV, Y&R) was on Acapulco, an Apple TV show I'd never heard of (like most Apple TV shows) that has been on for four years and just popped up in my feed? Anyway, she is.
  15. They did alright with Lucy when she first came back IMO, minus the terrible vampire story with ME. I was thrilled when she and Kevin reunited. Why they had to break them up again is beyond me, as it was long before RC's firing and Genie's contract return. They'll never reunite them again now with Kevin chained to Laura and FV clearly unwilling to invest in any other major new love interest for Genie, so Lucy gets whatever random stuff they can throw at her instead as leftovers. She should be much more important and integral, but then both Lucy and Laura should. At least Laura had several years of that more recently, whereas Lucy has been a comic afterthought for over a decade. I do like that Deception has become so important, but not everyone needs to work there nor should it seem so low-rent. Nor should Lucy constantly be the butt of the joke in those scenes while BLQ is shined up.
  16. I assume it is literally about Susan, Morgan, etc.'s insurance. It's a favor Frank (and surely not only him) has done for soap vets many times. I would rather find any other way to do this, any time H&H appears a part of my soul dies. I keep wondering if they've ever officially made Batten's silly character a relative of Luna or something.
  17. I'll just mostly xerox what I said in the other thread: I would've preferred to see Viki, but I cannot fault them for bringing in Monica's family to honor her given her origins. It's a nice touch. And Erika will get to play something different.
  18. 90% of the time, Daytime Confidential doesn't run their so-called Rumor Reports unless it's accurate. That's been the way it is going back over a decade. I would've preferred to see Viki, but I can't fault them honoring Leslie and bringing on some of her family. And maybe Erika wants to play something different. And as someone who did enjoy Todd and Blair and the other OLTL characters, I don't think anyone was really decimated on GH. Yes, Todd and Blair broke up as they did approximately 80 other times, but it was handled pretty respectfully. I didn't love the pairing with Carly because it was poorly written and slapped together but Blair's end of things was done fine for me. And in the end they did reunite on Prospect Park, but I also really have no investment in that couple or a serial rapist anymore. Natalie was fine, Blair was fine, Starr lost her baby and boyfriend I didn't care about. Given the history of soap opera crossovers these characters were lucky to stay alive and not be immediately killed off a la Vicky Hudson from AW or many other inconvenient spouses/love interests. The crossovers may have gotten annoying, but in terms of how they treated the OLTL characters it was not that serious.
  19. I do think Hugh had potential with Marcie and a few people, but he was ruined by trying to use him to tie Spencer Truman and Paige, two of Higley's pet characters, deeper into the show. Using him as a decoy for John's 'death' was, I thought, horribly crass. I don't think either sister had it with Antonio but Tika was great with David Fumero. They made a big mistake not reuniting them when he finally left near the end. I just assume Cris and Layla got back together in Europe. Matt Metzger from American Idol was terrible as Duke AFAIC, and also wildly overSORASed. They wasted that character after treating him horribly.
  20. Tristan was far more frail than I expected on Friday based on his appearance the day before, but he seemed sharper than last year. If these episodes are the last time we see him I'm glad it was a better showing.
  21. I'll keep my comments here, I think. What can you say? Another singular legend, like Bill Hayes and too many others, but Lisa was the prototype on many levels. RIP.
  22. I am pretty sure Rena is not gone for good. They seem quite committed to having Lois around doing nothing.
  23. I don't remember Setton being this prudish when she started on GH. I thought it was gradual. I may be wrong. I thought she was perfectly cast at the beginning.
