Sasha and Blaze was crazy. The HSN thing is crazy. The fact that the company seems constantly about to collapse while all their scenes are still about how genius BLQ and Maxie are and how stupid Lucy is (who kept it a global success for years), also crazy. It's all so low rent. And yet very Frank. I'm fine with giving Susan Batten and Morgan a little work to keep their insurance, but let them pop up from time to time as the Greek Chorus working in the Deception boutique at the Metro Court or as traveling spokespeople or something. I would have Lucy and Serena scheme to take it back, then have Brenda cap it off with her own capital and star power. Maxie can stay on but the rest (other than perhaps Tracy as an investor) can hit da bricks!

Mulcahey's brief run made me believe it for the first time ever, because the writing for her (and SpinellI) was much sharper in that period. Today I can buy it or not buy it a bit, but I'd still have Lucy (and Serena) sneakily take full control back from Maxie, Tracy and BLQ. While leaving Maxie in a position at the company and awaiting Brenda's involvement. Deception is Lucy's company, period, and it's time they stopped running her down over it. Maxie did look better later on this week. And yes, Kirsten has looked far worse. But that red Laura Bush blazer with the helmet of hair was a bit much.

Oof. I had forgotten he was gone, or that she was ill. My mistake.

Doctor Who
What a wonderful gift. I'd always hoped for this. Thanks for alerting us.

If AMC were still around today I would bring back (and likely recast, as I highly doubt Rosemary Prinz is interested) Amy, especially with Lee Meriwether and Ray both in their 90s IIRC. Not unlike bringing Meta Bauer back to GL, she could shore up the elder scene for the future. Her politically-minded character would also be particularly relevant to today's times, and would be a link directly to the very beginning.

We really don't know the ins and outs of Leslie's distributions at all. I'm not going to judge any of that. What I do have a problem with is if they haven't made sets for either the clinic or her mansion. Those are musts at this point so hopefully they'll appear. I don't fault budget restrictions in modern daytime up to a point but this story needs to move beyond Garland, local eateries and the D'Angelo Barksdale Memorial Corner.

I don't think Prinz was ever looking to stay, was she? I am surprised they never, ever brought Amy back.

Belated, but Big Willz getting Drew dressed up like Tegan & Sara in the comfy fit and murmuring "I hope you will set aside whatever feelings you have for me" followed by Scout coming in and asking "Daddy, are you okay?" to her paralyzed father locked in an eternal rictus pose of deathless agony is absolute camp gold.

Why is Maxie dressed and styled like Audrey Hardy? I'm just asking questions.

I have never seen Jacquie Courtney's madam role. I would kill to see that. Billy Clyde still swanning around with more carnie-looking tricks in 2013 on AMC 2.0 was a hoot.

If Matthew Cowles was still with us this is where Billy Clyde Tuggle would turn up to ply his wares at age 95 or whatever.

I just have no interest in Michael dating yet another sex worker tbh lol. That's just one reason I have no time for Jacinda. But I do think using his past is good fodder for an enemy, including linking him to crimes like you mention which have nothing to do with him.

Well, yes and no. Willow would be much more clever and conniving than the modern version of Heather who is just a straight lunatic. Heather BITD was much more subtle. For example, at one point Willow would gaslight/drug Michael into PTSD madness stemming from his past as well as the fire in '25 that led to the recast. She'd then frame him for a series of murders dating back to the accidental death of Abby Haver, the erotic dancer/hooker he dated as a very young man and ending with Jacinda, who she wouldn't have killed herself (Sidwell or somebody would be responsible for it, Willow would not be involved, just capitalizing on it). Willow would make Michael, whose past speaks for itself going back to Claudia Zacchara, look like the unknown cold case serial killer Port Charles never knew was lurking in its wake for years, a la IRL real estate scion Robert Durst. All so she can get her kids back and get revenge on him. It would fall apart eventually and Michael would get his own back, but he wouldn't be able to fully put her away for it. Or she'd do a stretch in Ferncliff, then play nice and get out. That's just one storyline. And in the meantime Willow continues to have the protection of Drew and the Quartermaine name for a good stretch, before possibly finding someone else. (And a string of young lovers of course, as Heather once had. Poor Joe Kelly.) I would def waste Chase at some point but I'd leave him as her lovesick fool and corrupt PI (because no way is he lasting long on the force, though he could try to help her build the fake case against Michael) for awhile before he totally self-immolates. Willow would have other hapless beaus in future. And possibly hatesex with Michael at some point. I would never have them get back together, and probably never even let him be so bamboozled as to seriously consider it. Michael would be with either a hard-charging Asian-American surgeon who is connected to the Wus, or with Serena Baldwin herself. Both of whom could clash with Willow.

Yeah, there is no excuse for Phoenix Street and Leslie's mansion to not be onscreen after all the hype and build-up. I have to believe we'll see at least one of them soon. If not, don't do the story.

Imma just sort through all these great ideas and get back to you lol. What I will say is I would wait a while to expose only some of Willow's misdeeds at a time, gradually. I would intend to run her for another few years before eventually killing her off in grand glory. To do that she has to be able to skate on some crimes for awhile, keep her power base or find another. For example, Drew would keep her secret to keep her under his thumb and in their psychosexual, twisted yet mutually beneficial marriage for awhile (eventually they would be shed of each other). She can be exposed and disgraced on some things (often without proof for prosecution) but she has to be able to recoup. Or she can always do a bid in Ferncliff and fakes good behavior til she can get loose. I wouldn't fully close the net, with something where she's dead to rights and cannot get away with Ferncliff time or a good lawyer or just a public shaming, for another 2-4 years at least. Only then would you finally get Who Killed Willow Quartermaine. And yeah, Willow faking her cancer coming back to escape judgment would be one of her very last stories for me. If not her last. And one of her other exposures (if not that one) would be inadvertently tripped by little paste-eater Wiley himself, who by then would have a new name of some sort (WTF is Wiley anyway? how did that happen??) and be recast with a better, distinctly less creepy child. But yes, I would ship off those kids for years.

They really have no idea how creepy this Valentin and Charlotte relationship is and always has been, and continues to be. Everything about the way they talk to or about each other and how they view other people is gross. He looks so much like a bus station pervert.

She'd even find some way to dummy it up to make it look like he had ol' Abby waxed by the crane too! A serial killer! He's Robert Durst!

GH: March 2026 Discussion Thread
Nah. I'd have her die some other way or by someone's hand (Sidwell? Boyle?) and have Willow, already drugging Michael to amp up his PTSD and make him crazy, frame him for her death. Shades of Heather and Diana Taylor.

It's criminal. I'd bring on at least two women to potentially put with him or spin one off elsewhere (one being Serena Baldwin). This is Soaps 101 but Frank doesn't do it anymore. And hasn't in years, really. He brings on one person or recast and then tries his best to just play the angles within the existing show and cast he loves having around. They created Patrick for Robin when she returned. They made sure Dante was fleshed out for Lulu and a character in his own right. Jax was a real option for first Lois and then Brenda. I can go on. Then there's the Monty era, which speaks for itself.

I watched enough of Jill's shows to never be that impressed with her visual style at GH. Because a lot of it was there in the Riche era, as was the strong editing work and montages, music choice, etc. I miss the fog, the sounds of the harbor, certain sets like the old docks. But Jill was not responsible for those; they pre-dated her. As a stylist she was fine. It wasn't as overly lit, but nor is the current show exactly Paul Rauch's GL (as it veered towards in the early-mid 2010s). There are visual things I would change, but I don't need JFP for them.
