  1. It's all old news, but AFAIC if they don't want to do love scenes that don't look like last week they can both dip. Chase is useless anyway.
  2. It was MVJ's script. She has talked about writing the episode on Twitter.
  3. His wit, self-deprecating humor and easy ability to interact with live horses who eat into Genie Francis' guarantees!
  4. I don't find Cody boring! I think Josh Kelly and occasionally even some of the writing imbues him with just enough personality. Sasha OTOH is rice paper. I do think JK and Alexa have some chemistry and I don't mind them being paired up for awhile as Dante grieves or whatever, but again I'm more concerned about Dominic getting screwed by FV again. It's his time to shine and that includes Dante and Lulu down the line, not him going under the wheels for another OLTL friend of Frank's. And I say that as someone who likes JK and wants Cody to continue on the show (with Tracy!).
  5. Not officially a Thanksgiving episode, but a very important one for the holiday and especially this month and this year. Happy holidays.
  6. I don't think the curly hair suits Carly. I think it's all Laura Wright/Cassie Winslow. But I do think her hair/wardrobe are both often rough these days. Which is a shame because for many years she still looked pristine onscreen.
  7. It literally looks like stuff she brought from home. They used to dress her so well. I guess at least it appeals to Facebook moms/grandmoms.
  8. We have said it before in the main thread and I'll say it again: It is reluctantly time to find another hot Aussie of a certain age to play Jax, pair him with Rena Sofer and go to town.
  9. I can reluctantly see the appeal re: Lucky and Maxie though it was so scuzzy in the GV druggie years. But no. It's time for Lucky and Liz. They're better as adults, they both want it, it's time. I actually think Laura's hair has been looking rough as hell for some time now. But so has her wardrobe. Dear God.
  10. I would keep the family unit intact for awhile and play story with them, sure, but I wouldn't keep Kirsten on the shelf with Bradford forever. She's got too much life again these days and while I like them together again I am not ride or die for it. Eventually down the road I'd recast Michael and bring him on as a sort of deadpan straight man/younger guy to Maxie's unlikely slightly older woman comedienne, something I've thought about doing with them for many years. A fish out of water thing. Sue me!
  11. Kirsten was fully revitalized not only by better scripts in the spring but by her own medical turnaround. I really never thought I'd see the day and I hope it lasts. I would absolutely keep her now, though eventually I'd end things with Spinelli (putting her with a new Michael is still on the radar for me).
  12. I'm sure she will. At least Genie is clearly on next week.
  13. A huge part is they seemed to simply saddle Kate Mansi with a prewritten, timewaster story like the surrogacy which isn't any good for anyone. For a number of months IIRC she did very little, which led people to question why she was even hired. I think she is talented and has done good work in the role in the spring and early summer before things went really south, but she's being sabotaged by the worst kind of material. If they're not trying to assassinate the character then they desperately need to retool. Frank of course hates to do that. I like Gio as I've said before, but I see no reason for him to be a Bensonhurst love child who will only unnecessarily age Dante and BLQ further. The (relatively) 'younger' and actual young adult characters on this show are staid and desexualized enough as is. He could be anyone's kid down the line if he really has to somebody important's, but I'd sooner they just keep playing him as the happy wanderer/stud with Trina, etc. If they ever let him take his shirt off. Anyway, it's just another unnecessary blood connection to me right now. Willow, Sasha and Chase are all tiresome nobodies to me. I'd write them all out in various ways and probably kill Chase to send BLQ spiraling (and likely recast). Though I'd have Willow kill Drew and frame Nina, as I've said before. Nobody is asking for Amanda Setton to do 'side nudity.' But she is playing a younger woman on a soap opera in a genre driven by intimacy and passion. She conveys none onscreen. Whether some of us spend a lot of time on social media or not, we don't know these people personally. They are not our friends. People are allowed to criticize the show, the actors, the stories and it doesn't mean that not blindly agreeing with anything it does will get the show cancelled, or that to be nice you have to want to make sure everyone stays employed.
  14. That doesn't mean it's good for the show or the characters. Criticizing this show online doesn't mean we're going to get it cancelled. Suggesting actors be let go is fair game. They're not our friends.
  15. She had no problem being a vixen on OLTL and stole half the show. It's the marriage that clearly changed things.
  16. Time to recast! I hate it because she was a perfect fit in the role, once upon a time.
  17. Kristina needs a break, after having all her spoiled bullshít about that baby shoved back down her damn throat. This is exactly why the entire surrogacy story should never have happened, she's always been like this. It's ruined a promising recast and made her unbearable. I would reposition her after a few months of low airtime in the new year and then slowly find someone new for her. But Frank never says die with unpopular characters who are fúcking up unless he is forced to or when re-up time rolls around and they ask for more money. So we'll probably see him quadruple down. Please know that if I have posts from users I've blocked quoted at me so that I can see them in order to inject herself into this discussion I will report both parties. I say this because it's been done before. Let's not get cute the day before Turkey Day.
  18. I loved her on OLTL, I thought she was an ideal recast early on and I don't think Frank will ever let her go, but if this is how this is going to go forever with Setton it's time to recast. And don't get me started on the Gio thing. It is so unnecessary to do this with Dante and BLQ, let alone with a grown young man. (And I say that as someone who likes Gio and who would play Dante and BLQ together for awhile after nuking Chase.) These sexy adults do not need more kids let alone grown children.
  19. I have considered taking the package deal from sometime but I don't want to rebuild my entire Hulu library in Disney+.
  20. Laura's '90s wardrobe is starting to look like Prince's Love Symbol by comparison.
