  1. It's hopscotched right back to Season 3 now. I may rewatch Night in a couple hours.
  2. You can tell Biden-hating gossipmonger Alex Thompson was excited because after days of pretty minimal activity since Harris took over he sprung into action on this one. Here is the core Vanity Fair article the Daily Beast piece above is farming from.
  3. I think this article is actually accurate. I have zero sympathy for him, but I have suspected for some time now that the mix of paranoia and laziness Trump has always had is only heightened by the assassination attempt, and that terror contributes heavily to why he is doing only one event at a week while Vance is out there stalking Harris from airport to airport and doing these little cowtown rallies in the back of a Big Lots or whatever. He now apparently wants a bulletproof glass partition in front of him if he is to go back out on the road.
  4. That'll do it! I really don't think anything on Walz's 20 year old DUI is going to leave a real mark, particularly since he spoke openly about it in 2018. But you can tell the mainstream media folks are excited to have literally anything to gin up material from, since all the stuff on stolen valor has thus far failed to penetrate outside of the right wing fever swamp.
  5. Pretty sure a lot of those Plex pages are automated. The stream has warped ahead to S8, apparently because of a name error - eps in both S3 and S8 named "Reunion". @DRW50 will be pleased to know the Jessica Walter episode has apparently caused this.
  6. Sasha is as boring if not moreso than all of Nina's other pointless daughters.
  7. No one does. And it doesn't matter!
  8. A sure sign of success:
  9. I think it may have been the intent (or something like it) under Guza. But Frank and Ron came in with a clean slate and just didn't have the mindset for any of that or I suspect any knowledge of it - they just went for something pretty pedestrian. As for the rest, I just don't think there's a chance in Hell that Ron Carlivati of all people revealed Obrecht and Victor had a past only to make them not have one if not two secret kids together. I think we were going to be subjected to Ryan Paevey and Stafford hanging around Wyndemere acting like Carlivati's 'new Cassadine generation' with little Nicolas Bechtel Spencer. Again, small mercies. I also strongly suspected Ron had initially intended for Stafford's Nina to be the true mother of Kristen Alderson's Kiki, who Ava would have somehow stolen from Coma Nina BITD during their feud over Silas in New York, but I digress. My brain worked overtime in those days because you had to with Ron's deranged twists and needless add-ons. WTFever is going on with Anna Lynne McCord's "Abby" on DAYS right now is the same sort of situation - I think people are right that it's probably Gwen yet again.
  10. It still pisses me off. They wasted it on some random HS sweetheart hook-up. And I still think it's just Alexis' brain psychologically covering for Stavros, lol.
  11. Nina's parents are Donna Mills' pointless character Madeline Reeves, Obrecht's sister, and her late(?) tycoon husband. Madeline took in Nathan. But again, I strongly suspected given all the musical parents Ron was doing at that time (including revealing that Nathan was actually Obrecht's, which was only brought up maybe a year in) that that would've been subject to change to tie Nina deeper into the show.
  12. You can tell how pissed the Beltway is when Nate Cohn sniffs (inaccurately) that Harris is performing as well as 'any generic Democrat' would against Trump. Fox also had Trump up by 1 yesterday.
  13. Eh, a fluke. I try not to remember that storyline.
  14. No, lol. I forgot that too. I can't remember Sam ever having a second of tolerance for Ava. And yes, Nina was the (adopted) sister of the varnished wood effigy known as Nathan West - his bio-mom was Obrecht, Donna Mills' sister. Stafford's Nina used to constantly call him "Jay" (his first name was James) and fawn over him which drove me nuts. I had a very strong suspicion in 2014-15 that RC had actually intended for both to be stealth Cassadines given the connection he created between Obrecht and Thaao Penghlis' Victor Cassadine, and have Nina and wooden Nathan end up hanging out at Wyndemere and mixing it up with Nikolas and co. Small favors that didn't happen. But anyway I never cared about Nina and Nathan's bond, their family, etc. I do buy Nina caring for Maxie even more since Nathan's death, though.
  15. The Trump ground game and turnout:
  16. Yeah, I don't care about them. I haven't cared in many years. T.J. in particular has been little more than a cipher since Tequan Richmond left. I won't notice if they leave tomorrow.
  17. That is not how it is looking right now.
  18. GH hasn't cared about them in years. This storyline is the most exposure or POV either of them have gotten in forever but they still don't really care IMO and neither do I. Just write them out and bring Molly back at some later date.
  19. Season 7 of MP (which was masterminded by peak years Knots showrunner Peter Dunne) has an uncanny similarity to Season 4 of Knots, which is also when Dunne took over there and made the show a hit. You'll know the prime factor when you see it.
  20. A stone cold legend. If you've never seen her in John Cassavetes' A Woman Under the Influence or Opening Night, do it immediately.
  21. Exactly. They have almost always been an afterthought.
